《So try and love me while you can [Zacky Vengeance]》Chapter Eighteen

*Zacky*
“Jesus Mac, you didn’t have to knock him out.” I heard a scruffy voice say somewhere to my left.
My head was spinning and my face was throbbing. I groaned and slowly opened my eyes. I was lying on some fake leather couch in what looked like an office, well except for the stripper pole in the corner.
“Looks like he’s waking up.” The voice said again.
I opened my eyes more wide and turned my head to see a man sitting behind a huge desk with a girl on his lap. The big bastard that hit me was standing slightly behind him. As I came more aware of where I was, I realized this couch probably had about a million diseases on it. I jumped up and moved in front of the desk. The sudden movement made my head pound.
“Sorry about Mac. He’s a little overprotective of the girls.” The man said with a smirk.
The girl on his lap giggled and I saw her shift her weight a little on his lap. I had to hold back my vomit.
“I understand.” I said through gritted teeth.
“Have a seat. My name is Angelo. What exactly can I do for you?” He said to me.
I really didn’t want to sit on anything in this nasty place, but the pounding in my head advised me to. I pulled back the overstuffed arm chair and slowly sank into it. The girl on his lap smiled at me and wiggled her tits in front of me. I shook my head and looked around. There were photos of naked girls everywhere.
“I want to talk to you about Kyle.” I told him. Angelo raised his eyebrow.
“I’m sorry, who?” He asked.
“Sin.” The big guy said.
Angelo nodded slowly then chuckled.
“Do you think you’re the first rockstar to come in here and ask for one of my girls for his own use? It’s not going to happen. Sin signed herself over to me for 5 years or when she starts to look old and you and I both know that’s not happening any time soon.” He said.
The girl on his lap chewed on her bottom lip and Angelo whispered something in her ear. She smiled and slid down off of his lap and disappeared under the desk. And then I heard his zipper being unzipped. My stomach turned. She was actually going to suck him off while he was talking to me.

“Okay, well how about I take her off of your hands?” I said.
He leaned back and thought about what I had said. I could see he was having a hard time concentrating so I slammed my fists on the desk. He shook his head and brought his hands down and put them on the girls head. I could hear her moan slightly and it made me sick.
“What do you mean by that?” He asked.
I shrugged and leaned on the desk.
“Well, I’ll pay you whatever you want for her. I want to buy her off of you. I need a girl like her for when I go on tour and stuff.” I lied.
Angelo looked me up and down and thought about it. I could see the wheels turning in his head and it made me wish I kept my mouth shut. I also could see the girl working really hard to get this guy off. It made my furious inside to think that maybe Kyle does that too for him.
“Sin is a really big money maker. A lot of guys love her and she’s very good at her job.” Angelo said with a wicked smile.
I turned my head in disgust.
“How much would it take?” I asked again.
A different look came across his face and the girl was moaning softly from beneath the desk. Yeah, I think the show was over now.
“5,000 a week for the remained of her contract.” Angelo said after he’d recovered.
I kept a straight face but inside I was freaking out. 5,000 dollars a week? I could definitely do it but that’s a lot of money to be burning through.
“How much longer is she under contract?” I asked.
Angelo smiled and patted the girls head. She stood up slowly and wiped the remainder of ‘him’ off of her lips. Thank God nothing was in my stomach because it definitely would be making reappearance.
“Three years.” He said calmly.
I let out a deep breath and pulled out my wallet. I wrote out a check for 5,000 and held it up.
“Fine, but she leaves with me right now.” I said.
Angelo practically jumped over the desk to grab that check.
“Yeah, yeah whatever. Go and get the little whore. She’ll be glad to know you bought her.” Angelo said.

I shook my head and stood up and towered over him from the other side of the desk. I put on my Zacky Vengeance face and looked him dead in the eye.
“You can’t ever tell her about this. This has to stay strictly between us, you got that?” I said darkly.
He scoffed and put the check in a drawer.
“Whatever Mr. Rockstar. Just get your bitch and get out.” He said.
He waved his hand and the big guy grabbed me by the arm.
“You go to your car and I will get Sin.” He said to me.
I was too sore and tired to fight with him. I went out the back door and sat in my car to wait. My whole body hurt and he only punched my face. I flipped down the mirror and checked it out.
“Fuck.” I said to myself.
My whole cheek was back and blue and swelled up.
“Awesome.” I said.
A few minutes later, Kyle came stomping out of the club and got in the car.
“How? How did you do it?” She asked me.
I said nothing and just started the car.
“Zacky come on. What did you tell him to get him to let me go?” She asked again.
“Look, it doesn’t matter. You never have to do this ever again and that’s all that counts.” I said softly.
I could see out of the corner of my eye that she was smiling. She wiped her cheek and stared out the window.
“Thank you.” She said softly.
I glanced at her quickly and reached over and took her hand.
“You’re welcome.” I said.
When we pulled into the driveway, Kyle leaned over and gave me a soft kiss.
“I don’t think I’ll ever be able to repay you for this Zacky.” She said softly.
I shrugged and lightly touched her face.
“Don’t worry about it. I just couldn’t stand to see you work in a place like that. Not now. Not ever.” I told her.
After watching at girl give Angelo a blow job right in front of me and knowing that could be Kyle tomorrow was enough to make me sick. I’d pay however much I needed to just to get her out of there.
“Let’s go inside, you need to get some ice on that cheek.” She said.
I nodded and dragged myself out of the car. I felt like complete shit.
“I’m sorry about that too. I guess I should’ve warned you about Mac.” She said with a small smile.
I shook my head and chuckled.
“Yeah, that would’ve been nice.” I said.
Kyle rolled her eyes playfully and opened the door. Mel looked up from her book and looked at me.
“Oh my God Zacky! What happened?” She asked.
She jumped up and ran over to me.
“It’s nothing.” I said as I walked into the kitchen.
Mel glared at Kyle and I just touched her arm.
“I’m fine. Thank you for watching Troy.” I said softly.
Mel sighed and ran her hand through her hair.
“You’re welcome. Text me tomorrow.” She said. I nodded and she left.
Kyle went into her room and I grabbed some ice out of the freezer and wrapped a towel around it. When she came back out, she was wearing sweats and a t-shirt. She walked over to me and lightly pressed the ice to my face.
“You should probably get that x-rayed tomorrow just in case.” She said.
I shrugged and sank into a chair.
“I’ll be fine.” I said. Kyle shook her head.
“Zacky, you could have a concussion.” She said seriously. I rolled my eyes.
“I think I’m alright Kyle. I’m just really tired.” I said.
“Well you can’t go to sleep.” She said. I laughed and stood up, taking the ice with me.
“Yes, I can. I’ve been punched in the face before believe it or not.” I told her.
Kyle sighed and stood up too.
“I don’t care. I’m not letting you sleep tonight.” She said. She folded her arms across her chest and cocked her hip.
I laughed and sank onto the couch and laid back.
“Oh? And just how are you going to keep me awake?” I asked with a smile.
Kyle smiled too and walked over to me.
“I think I can come up with something.” She said with a devilish grin.

Recruit - An Infinite Labyrinth prequel
A prequel to The Infinite Labyrinth. The year is 1816. The British Empire is in full swing, under the auspices of King George III. The Infinite Labyrinth has been pouring out its product from beyond our reality and fostered a new industrial revolution. Times are changing, and the people of London are feeling the winds of the revolution while British Professionals push into the Labyrinth. The newly formed Artefact Hunting Company is looking for recruits, and they have new technology to help them. From the slums of London, they aim to recruit a new wave of Professionals. And make Zacharias and the Earl of Carnavon lots of money. So, for Rowan Rivers and a handful of lucky ones, it's time to head into the Labyrinth, and discover what makes it different from England. And what makes THEM different? Recruit is a bunch of chapters I wrote to create to the setting, mood, and game systems of the Infinite Labyrinth. It is NOT a complete story in the classic sense. It's more of a slice of life view of early days of a normal Professional from the Infinite Labyrinth, and it's heavy on info-dump. It's 90% canon - there's probably a bit of a difference between how some characters and common behaviour are portrayed here and how they'll come out in the main story. Set two years before the events that kick-start the main series, it features some of the secondary/peripheral characters of the Infinite Labyrinth and will tell you all about the basic mechanics of the Labyrinth's RPG system. It can be considered a spoiler, as the characters in the Infinite Labyrinth are going to need to figure out all that, on their own. But if you like a much deeper exposition in the mechanics, here it is. The entire prequel is about 80 pages long.
