By 10pm they pulled out of the parking lot and headed off towards Brian’s house. His was the closest so Kate and Brian got to leave first. Matt sat anxiously with the bus driver. He called Val as soon as the show was over so she would wait up for him. Even Jimmy called his wife to excitedly tell her they were close. As they pulled onto Brian’s street, he stood up and leaned close to the window.
“We’re almost home.” He said to Kate with a smile. She smiled back and sat beside him.
“Which one is it?” She asked, looking at the decently sized beach houses on the street.
“It’s coming up right now.” He said standing up. Kate stood up too and went to grab her stuff from the bunks.
The bus pulled up in front of Brian’s house and stopped. They said goodbye to the guys and got off the bus and waved as it went down the street.
“Well, this is home.” Brian said. Kate smiled and looked around, well tried to look around. It was a little hard to see in the dark.
Brian unlocked the door and they went inside.
“Mi casa es su casa.” He said as he turned the light on.
“Wow.” Was all Kate could say.
The house was beautiful. It had the typical beach house feel to it. He had a big white suede couch in the living room with a nice wooden coffee table in the center. He had a stone fireplace against the wall and a flat screen tv above that. His kitchen was top of the line. He had a small kitchen table in the middle. The counter top was an expensive marble and hanging from the ceiling were pots and pans of all shapes and sizes. Kate could also see that he had sliding French doors that led out to a nice patio outside.
When she finally looked at Brian, he was standing there looking at her with his left hand behind his head.
“So, this is the living room and kitchen.” He said. She nodded and he started walking. He led her to a door.
“This’ll be your room.” He said while opening the door.
The room was huge. A king sized bed with a white silk comforter sat in the middle of the room. To the right was another door and to the left was a big dresser and another door.
“The door to the right is your bathroom and the other is the closet. Sorry it’s not much.” Kate stared at him.
“Are you kidding? This is bigger than my old room in my apartment.” She said. He smiled and turned and walked out of the room.
They walked across the living room and down a hallway.

“So this is the other bathroom and this door leads to the basement where I do most of my practicing and stuff like that, and this is my bedroom.” He said opening the door.
It also had a king sized bed but it had a red silk comforter on it. A few guitars on stands were in the corner and some clothes were on the floor.
“Typical male bedroom.” Kate said. Brian chuckled.
“Hey, it’s only like that because I was leaving for tour.” He said. She chuckled, then yawned.
“Well, I think the rest of the tour can wait until morning.” He said. Kate smiled and nodded.
“That’s a good idea.” Kate said as she turned and walked towards her room.
“Tomorrow we’ll have to go to the store and get you some like towels and things for your bathroom.” He said. Kate nodded and sat down on the bed.
“Thanks again for doing this Brian.” Kate said. Brian smile softly at her and nodded.
“You don’t have to keep thanking me you know.” She blushed a little and nodded.
“I know. I can’t help it.” He chuckled and turned to leave.
“Goodnight Brian.” She said. He turned and looked at her over his shoulder.
“Goodnight Kate. Sweet dreams.” She smiled and he closed the door behind him.
Kate looked around and thought about putting her things away. Instead, she layed down on the bed. It was perfect. It wasn’t too firm or too soft and the comforter was so soft. It put her to sleep almost instantly.
Kate woke up in the morning to Brian talking on the phone.
“Yeah we got home late last night.” Kate walked into the kitchen and poured herself some coffee. Brian smiled at her and took a sip of his own.
“Yeah! Bring her over, I’ve missed my baby so much.” He said with a smile. Kate felt herself jump.
His baby? Who was that? When Brian hung up the phone he was grinning and pacing the kitchen.
“That was my dad, he’s bringing my baby home.” He said. Kate raised her eyebrow.
“You have a child that I’m not aware of?” She asked. Brian broke out laughing.
“No, you’ll see.” He said through laughter.
A few seconds later, the door opened and Brian’s dad walked through the door. Kate recognized him from magazine articles she’d read. In his arms was a small, white Maltese with a little red bow in its hair. Brian walked over and picked it up and held it tight.
“Hey Pinkly! Did you miss me?” He said. The little dog yipped and licked his cheek. Kate smiled and giggled from the kitchen table.
Brian turned around and nodded towards Kate.

“Dad, this is Kate. She’s our photographer for the band.” Kate smiled and waved.
Brian’s dad returned the smile and looked at Brian.
“You didn’t knock her up did you?” He asked. Kate choked on her coffee and blushed hard. Brian laughed and blushed a little.
“No dad, she doesn’t have a place to stay out here so I offered to let her stay here.” He said coolly. His dad raised an eyebrow but said nothing.
“So was she a good girl?” Brian asked. His dad nodded and patted Pinklys head.
“Yes she was, but I think she missed you.” Brian smiled and scratched her behind her ears.
“Kate come here and meet Pinkly.” Brian said. Kate stood up and walked over. The little dog yipped and squirmed in Brian’s arms.
“Pinkly, as in Pinkly Smooth?” She asked as she pet her. Pinkly licked Kate’s hand and barked. Brian nodded.
"Of course." He said with a smile.
“Well, I gotta get going, but why don’t you two come over for dinner tonight? Your mother would like to see you too you know.” He said. Brian chuckled and nodded.
“Yeah sure, we’ll be over for six.” His dad nodded and left.
Brian put Pinkly down and went to the kitchen to get her food and water.
“So this is your baby huh?” She asked. Brian smiled and nodded.
“Yes she is.” Kate chuckled.
“For some reason I pictured you with a bigger, scarier dog.” She said. Brian rolled his eyes and smiled.
“Of course you would. Zacky has little dogs too you know.” He said. Kate laughed and finished her coffee.
“I’m gonna take a shower now.” She said. Brian nodded and went to watch TV.
She dug a towel out of her suitcase and went into her bathroom.
After her shower, she changed into a red tank top and the shorts she had on yesterday and wrapped her hair in her towel. Brian was watching TV with Pinkly in his lap. Kate went to the kitchen and poured herself another cup of coffee.
“I was thinking after you’re ready, we’ll go to Target or something to get you some of the stuff you need.” Brian said. Kate nodded and sipped her coffee.
“That sounds good.” Brian nodded and lifted Pinkly off his lap. She scampered over to Kate and settled in her lap.
“Weird, she likes you.” Brian said. Kate raised her eyebrow.
“And why is that weird?” She asked. Brian stood and stretched.
“Because usually she doesn’t like anyone, let alone let anyone hold her.” Kate looked down at Pinkly, who was wagging her little tail and looking back at her.
“Really?” Kate said while picking her up. The dog yipped happily and tried to lick Kate’s nose.
Brian laughed and pulled out his cell phone and snapped a picture.
“Hey, I’m the photographer here.” Kate said from the couch. Brian smiled softly and walked over to her.
“True, but you have to be in some pictures too you know.” Kate smiled back and Brian stepped back.
“Okay get moving, we don’t have all day.” He said.
Kate rolled her eyes and went into her room, Pinkly right at her heels. She unwrapped the towel from her hair and shook it out. Pinkly let out a wine from the floor. Kate turned around and picked her up and set her on the bed. The dog stuck her nose in the open suitcase and sniffed around. Kate giggled and went back into her bathroom. She decided to leave her hair wet but put a hair tie on her wrist just in case. Then she did her makeup.
When she was finished, she went into the bedroom to grab Pinkly. But to Kate’s surprise, she wasn’t there. She leaned over into the suitcase and found Pinkly with a pair of Kate’s panties on her head. Kate couldn’t help herself. She burst out laughing. Brian heard her and walked in. When he got there Kate was holding up her camera, taking pictures of something in her suitcase.
“What are you doing?” He said from the doorway. Kate jumped and flicked the lid shut.
“Nothing.” She said through a giggle. Brian didn’t believe her.
Just as she was about to say something, Pinkly barked from inside the suitcase. Kate jumped and Brian opened the lid. Pinkly was still wearing Kate’s red lace panties when Brian opened it. Kate flushed red and Brian chuckled. He took the panties off of Pinkly’s head and tossed them to Kate. She caught them and put them behind her back.
“Cute.” He said. Kate blushed harder and looked away. Brian chuckled and smirked as he walked out of the room.
Kate dropped the panties back into the suitcase and joined him in the living room.
“Are you ready to go then?” He asked her. She nodded and then headed out the door.
“We’re not walking are we?” She asked once they were outside. Brian shook his head.
“Nope, we’ll take the car.” He said. He led her to the garage and they went inside.
Brian had three vehicles. A black truck, a silver car and a black and red chopper.
“I thought you would have a motorcycle.” She said. He shrugged.
They got into the car and headed out to the store.

8 197Of Gods and Dungeons
March 16, 2021 - Hiatus note: I will come back to this story! I'm really struggling with it, though. It's been a number of years and I kind of forgot what the original outline was. I still remember the main path, but not any of the details, because I stupidly didn't write an outline. Progress is being made. I'd like a very decent sized buffer before I start posting again. Don't want to get hopes up only to immediately disappoint! ----- Amy Barnes, an aspiring chemical researcher, finds herself dying from cancer. One of her most desperate prayers is answered in a way that she'd never dreamed possible, and she finds herself living a new life as a dungeon. Warning: Violence, morbidity Cover: Taken from here, courtesy of www.pexels.com by photographer @tookapic. Author's Note: I've read some dungeon core stories on here, and they've tickled my fancy. I've thought up a whole story, start to finish, and thought it'd be a blast to put it into words. Other than the violent and morbid aspects, this story is suitable for children. Aside from the vocabulary, that is. I will avoid the temptation to have any cursing, sexuality, or gore. Excessive gore, I suppose - it is a dungeon story, after all. I’ll do a little research from time to time, but this story will not have a great deal of rigor. I’ve made Amy’s knowledge comparable to my own for that reason. There’s a few things she knows more about than I do, and a few things that she knows less about. Unlike me, she doesn’t have access to Google - it’s a non issue for her to be more knowledgeable than me, on occasion :P This story does not use the same magic system that I’ve used in either Sorcery in Boston or A Summoner’s Confession. This one is mostly intention based, and designed to be easier access for people who are more used to the idea of, “It’s magic, therefore it works” kind of thinking. Do note that Amy is, in most senses of the term, overpowered. This goes along with the usual dungeon core stories. She’s not more powerful than other dungeons per se, but she does have knowledge and intelligence that puts them to shame. I thought about doing this in a LitRPG style, but systems take balance, and I wanted this to be pure fun to write. This story was inspired from a few sources. Despite the title, it wasn’t really inspired by Of Mice and Men, though some of the themes match. Rather, I’ve taken inspiration from a few dungeon core novels on Royal Road Legends for the main idea. Many conventions of dungeon core stories have been perverted from the genre, however. I’ve taken my usual science-loving self to town to play around with the powers, and I can only hope you have half as much fun reading this as I have had writing it.

8 202G Herbo Imagines
This is for anyone who loves/likes G Herbo. Most of the stories will probably in 3rd person because it's just easier. Yes, this is a Fluff. Also, in this book, "Herbert" will be used frequently in the book. It is G Herbo's real first name btw :)
