RULE NUMBER ONE BITCH! DO NOT SPEAK UNLESS SPOKEN TO! RULE NUMBER TWO WHORE! ALWAYS ANSWER WITH YES SIR!
I screamed and jumped up straight in bed. Once I realized where I was, I started to calm down. My heart was racing and I was covered in sweat.
“It’s over.” I said to myself as I went into the bathroom.
The Harley Davidson clock on the wall said it was four in the morning. I groaned and splashed some water on my face.
“Well I’m awake now.” I said as I pulled my other shirt from my bag and put it on.
I changed and went to the bar to make some coffee. There was a TV by the pool table so I turned it on and sat down on the couch. I regretted that as soon as I did it. It was filthy.
“Men.” I muttered as I got up.
Since I was up, I might as well put myself to use. Three hours and six buckets of water later, the place was looking a lot better. As I was pouring my fourth cup of coffee, I heard a knock on the door. I froze. With a deep breath I slowly made my way to the door. To my left was a row of baseball bats. I grabbed one and stood on my tip toes and looked out the peep hole. It was Jax. I sighed in relief and unlocked the door.
“You used the peep hole. I’m impressed.” He said with a smile.
I smiled back and tried to hide the bat behind me.
“And you armed yourself. This might just work out after all.” He said as he walked in.
He stopped once he got to the pool table. He sniffed a few times and looked around.
“What’s that smell?” He asked me.
“Lysol.” I said as I put the bat away.
“You cleaned the place?” He asked me.
I shrugged and nodded and took a sip of my coffee. My hands were shaking so badly I almost dropped the cup. Jax noticed and walked over to me.
“Did you sleep alright?” He asked.
“Yep, just fine.” I said a little too cheery.
Jax raised his eyebrow and took the cup from me.
“Right, what number is this?” He asked.
I rolled my eyes and took it back from him.
“Don’t worry about it. This place was filthy so I cleaned it. End of story.” I said.
I set my cup on the bar and bent down to pick up my bucket. After dumping it out, I filled it back up with clean water and more Lysol and dunked my sponge in and started wiping down the bar.
“You don’t have to scrub it down you know.” He said.
I shrugged and looked at him.
“It’s the least I could do. I am the bartender after all right?” I said.
He smiled and sat on a stool.
“Do you want some coffee?” I asked him.
He shook his head and I went back to cleaning. Not too long after, I heard the sound of heels clicking down the hall.
“Morning baby.” She said to Jax.
I looked up and my eyes felt like they were going to pop straight of my head. The woman was beautiful. I could tell she was older, but she was still hot. She was tall and had black hair with blonde highlights in it and it was curled and waved. She was wearing a form fitting leather jacket with a lace tank top under it and tight jeans with knee high black boots. What surprised me most, was the baby she had with her. From it’s blue hat I knew it was a boy. The hat had the same Reaper as Jax had on his vest.

“Morning Ma, hey kid.” He said with a smile.
He bent down and picked the baby up and held him. I could tell from the eyes that Jax was this kids dad.
“Who are you?” She asked me.
I opened my mouth, but I couldn’t find any words.
“This is McKayla, she’s gonna tend the bar. McKayla, this is Gemma.” Jax said.
Gemma looked me over skeptically and looked back at Jax.
“Nice to meet ya. He misses you, Jax.” She said to him.
Jax ignored her and bounced the baby on his hip. I smiled as I watched him. I had to admit, he looked incredibly sexy with a baby.
“This is Abel. My son.” He said to me.
I smiled at him and walked over.
“Hi Abel.” I said softly.
Abel smiled and reached his arms out to me. I giggled and touched his arms.
“You’re so cute!” I said as I played with his cheeks.
“You wanna hold him?” Jax asked me.
I looked up at him nervously and Jax smiled.
“You’ll be fine. If I can do it, so can you.” He said softly.
His eyes were looking straight into mine and he looked so gentle. I nodded and he slid Abel into my arms. Abel cooed and I bounced him around on my hip like Jax did.
“He likes you.” He said with a smile.
I smiled back and tickled Abel. Gemma, who had gone for coffee, was tapping her nails on the bar.
“Don’t you have work to do Jackson?” She said.
I blushed a little and put Abel back in his seat. Jax groaned and rolled his eyes.
“Yeah whatever Ma. You watching the kid?” He asked her.
Gemma shook her head and picked Abel up and slid the handle of the seat to the crook of her elbow.
“Neeta is gonna pick him up at the office. Are you gonna keep him tonight or what?” She asked him.
Jax kissed her cheek and touched Abel’s face softly.
“We’ll talk about it later okay?” He said.
Gemma studied him and then walked out the door.
“That’s your mother?” I asked.
Jax chuckled and rubbed the back of his neck.
“Yep, she’s great isn’t she?” He said.
I just smiled and Jax touched my hand.
“I’ll be around today. If you get bored you can hang out at the garage.” He said.
I nodded.
“I think I’ll finish cleaning.” I said.
Jax shook his head but smiled.
“Alright darlin’. See ya later.” He said.
I nodded and watched him walk outside. He opened the door wide to let some air in and I took a deep breath before jumping back into my cleaning. By noon I had almost the whole club house cleaned and sparkling. I was about to do the floor, when I realized I haven’t seen a mop anywhere in this place. I remembered I saw Gemma walk into the office of Teller Morrow, the garage so I went to ask her. Nervousness filled me up as I walked up to the office door. With a deep breath, I raised my arm and knocked on the door.
“Yeah?” She called from inside.
I twisted the knob and opened the door.
“Um, hi. I was wondering if there was a mop somewhere?” I asked her.

She took off her reading glasses and looked at me.
“Why? Did you make a mess?” She asked me.
I shook my head and played with my ponytail that I had pulled my hair up into.
“No, I’m cleaning the club house and I wanted to do the floors.” I said with a shrug.
Gemma studied me closely and didn’t say anything. I raised my eyebrow and shook my head.
“Forget it. I can clean it another time.” I said as I started to walk out of the office.
“It’s in the garage, ask Jax he’ll get it for you.” She said to me while my back was turned.
I smiled to myself and turned back around.
“Thanks.” I said.
She nodded and slowly put her glasses back on and watched me leave. I walked to short distance to the shop and saw Opie holding a light under the hood of a car and someone on a crawler under the car. I smiled at Opie and he nodded.
“Op, move the light down a little bit.” Jax said from under the car.
Opie leaned further in the car and I heard Jax fiddling with something.
“Gotcha.” He said.
He wheeled himself from under the car, holding a greasy part in his hands.
“Oh, hey McKayla.” He said with a smile.
I smiled back and he handed Opie the part.
“Did you give up on cleaning yet?” He asked me as he pulled himself up.
I shook my head and handed him a rag. He took it and wiped his hands.
“Actually I’m looking for the mop. Gemma said it was in here.” I told him.
He nodded and tossed the rag on the bench.
“Sure, it’s over here.” He said as he led me to a wall with brooms and mops hanging from it.
He took one down and handed it to me. Against the wall was a bucket, which he filled with soapy water.
“I’ll carry it in for you.” He said.
I nodded and we went into the club. Jax set the bucket down and I plunged the mop into it and rested it against the bar.
“Can I get you something?” I asked him.
His face was sweaty and it was streaking the grease that was on it.
“Nah, I’m good. I gotta get back to work anyway.” He said with a small smile.
I nodded and rung some of the water from the mop and started on the floor. I had the radio on and before long, I was dancing along as I was mopping. As I finished up the last spot on the floor, I heard movement behind me. I jumped and spun around. In the process, I slipped on a wet spot and felt myself falling. Falling right into the strong arms of Jax Teller.
“Easy there. Don’t want you getting hurt your first real day on the job.” He said in a low voice.
I looked up at him, into his beautiful eyes and shivered slightly. He chuckled and set me up right. I noticed the rest of the guys were in the room, sniffing and looking the place over. I smiled and sat down on a stool.
“What is that smell?” Chibs asked.
I giggled and held up the bottle of Lysol.
“I don’t think this place has been this clean since we built it.” Clay said as he sat at the bar.
I jumped up and went around to the back of the bar and handed him a beer. He nodded and took a sip. I got beers for the rest of them and they started talking until Tig got a phone call.
“Yeah? Hold on.” He said as he took it away from his ear.
“Clay, it’s Alvares on the prepay.” He said.
Clay groaned and took the phone and went into the big room and shut the doors.
“You didn’t clean in there did you?” Jax asked me.
I shook my head.
“No, I didn’t think I should go in there.” I said.
He nodded and took a sip of beer.
“Okay, good.” He said.
Clay opened the doors and waved the guys inside. Jax gave me a smile before walking in the room. The shut the doors and it was like I was the only one in the place. The room must be sound proof and it must of a lot of private club business in it. Why else would Jax want me to stay out? Which was okay with me. The last thing I wanted to do was over step my boundaries. After all, I was just a bartender.
Not long after, the doors opened and the guys walked out of the room without their vests. Jax came over to me and leaned on the bar.
“We gotta go for a while but we’ll be back, alright?” He said.
I shrugged and nodded.
“Okay.” I said.
“Gemma’s still in the office if you want someone to talk to.” He said.
I nodded and out of the blue, my stomach growled. I flushed and looked away. Jax stood up straight and looked at me.
“When was the last time you’ve eaten?” He asked.
I sighed and thought back.
“Saturday night?” I said with a shrug.
Jax shook his head and waved for me to come with him. He went to the office and opened the door.
“Here, why don’t you and McKayla go get something to eat and then go shopping on me.” He said as he handed Gemma a wad of cash.
I started to object but Jax started walking.
“We’ll be back later!” He shouted as he climbed onto his bike.
Gemma shut a drawer in the desk and stood up.
“Well, you heard him. Let’s go.” She said.
I stood in the doorway baffled. I was supposed to go to dinner and shopping with her?
“You coming or what?” She said as she walked around to her Cadillac.
I gulped and slowly walked to the car. God help me.

The Event Master
It is a reincarnation/transmigration story where the MC can only do magic that is socially condemned, but is protected somewhat by his powerful political station. For as long as he can keep it, anyway. With a little luck and some modern world thinking, perhaps he'll come up with something to change people's minds. Not forcefully though, that would be unethical. ** The MC is not a fighter. He's a gamer. He loves rpgs, movies, modern music, and telling stories. I intend to post at least once a week in the range of 2k words. If work eases up I'll increase the amount again. ((Work has instead intensified to the point where I'm struggling to get a chapter every two weeks. I'll pick it back up properly when I can, but for now it is on temporary hiatus while I still might post every once and awhile. This winter, I plan to go back to regular posts until the story finishes.))
