I woke up to an empty room, the sun was still out but it was starting to set. I leaned up and instantly put my hands on my lower belly. I had to find a doctor and schedule an appointment so they could tell me how far along I am and could get the guidance I needed.

The door opened and Colby came in, "good morning sleepy." He chuckled and came over, "hi Babe." I said quietly as he kissed my head. "We have to schedule a doctors appointment." I said as he sat on the bed, "already taken care of, love." He said and brushed his hand through his hair. "Y-you scheduled the appointment?" I said in shock, "yeah, I thought I would do it while you slept. It's for Wednesday, I know you're off that day." My heart melted at the fact that he was already taking so much responsibility in this. "You're the best." I said and wrapped my arms around his neck. "Kat helped, she told me what to do, and gave me your schedule." He said and kissed my cheek.

"You hungry?" He said and leaned away from me, as I nodded. "We made pasta, come on." He grabbed my hand and pulled me out of the bed, we walked downstairs, hearing laughter coming from everyone.

"Heyyy!" Kat yelled and ran to me, "how are you feeling?" She said as the others turned to me, smiles plastered on their faces. "I'm fine, thanks to all of you." I said and gestured to the room. "Wait are you sick or something?" Jake said and held Tara close to him. "No...I'm pregnant." I said and felt Colby wrap his arms around me, his hands making their way to my stomach. "Congratulations! Wow. That's gonna be weird." Jake said as Corey looked at us with wide eyes. "That's crazy bro." He said and walked up, opening his arms for a hug. He pulled me to him, "how you holding up?" I whispered into his ear. "I'm okay, we talked it out, we are going to be friends still." I pulled away and nodded, smiling slightly. "Can we name it Shrek?" Jake said as he hugged me, "I'm gonna have to veto that one." I said with a laugh. "Damnit!" He said said stomped back to Tara, "it's obviously going to be a girl, Shrek is a boys name." She said and looked at me, "you think it's going to be a girl?" I said and looked at my stomach, "oh 100%." She said and I shrugged, "what does everyone else think?" I said and looked around the room, "as much as I hate to say it, I think we are gonna have a little Colby Jr. running around." Sam said with a laugh, "what's wrong with that?!" Colby said and fake gasped, "brother, you're insane, having a little you would be so much crackhead energy, but I'm ready for it." Sam said and I couldn't help but laugh, because it was true.

"I'm with Tara, I think it's a girl." Corey said and Kat agreed, "totally a girl." I laughed nervously, "we'll see I guess." I realized talking about the baby gave me anxiety, hopefully that would go away with time. Colby noticed how I tensed up and put his hand on my lower back, rubbing small circles with his thumb. I zoned in on that as the group continued to argue about the gender of the baby.

"Come on." Colby said quietly in my ear and led me to where the pasta was, I scooped some in my bowl silently and walked to the table at the end of the counter, "are you okay?" Colby said and sat across from me, "yeah. Just anxious I guess." I shrugged and started to eat, keeping my eyes down. "I know, I'm here for you though. We will get you through this." He said and reached his hand out to grab mine. I nodded and bit my lip, keeping my head down. "Thank you." I whispered and looked at him, giving him a small smile.

"So I guess I should probably ask before I just assume things..but did you want to move in?" Colby said and looked at me bashfully. I breathed out a laugh, "I would love to but I still have my apartment, I can't just up and leave it." I said and twisted my fork in the noodles, "don't worry about that, I can pay the rest of your rent and you can back out of the lease. Only if you want to though, there's literally no pressure, Cora. Just wanted to give you options." He said sweetly and rubbed his thumb along my hand. "I think it would be good if we lived with eachother." I said quietly, feeling the anxiety pool in my stomach. "We could either live here or at your apartment, whichever is more comfortable for you." He said softly as I nodded, starting to feel really nauseous, maybe it wasn't anxiety that was making my stomach flip.

I bolted up and ran quickly to the bathroom as bile climbed up my throat. I barely made it as I spilled my insides into the toilet bowl, "Easy babe, just breathe." Colby said as he held my hair with one hand and rubbed my back with the other. My body tensed up as I gagged, "it's alright, I'm here." He said as I let my body go limp. He slowly let my head drop to the floor as I curled up in a ball, shivering. "This sucks." I mumbled as he sat next to me, pulling my head into his lap. "I know, but you'll get through this, you're so strong baby." He said brushed my hair away from my forehead. "I don't know if I can do this." I whispered shakily. "Hey, don't do that." He mumbled and cupped my cheek with his hand, "you're strong. Think of all the things you have been through, you've been through all of that. You can get through this. We are in this together." I felt tears prick my eyes, his support meant more to me than I think he knows. "Okay." I whispered and closed my eyes, focusing all my energy on not getting sick again.

We spent the next 30 minutes laying on the bathroom floor before I felt strong enough to get up. I was exhausted again which made no sense since I had just slept all day. "You tired?" Colby said as I grabbed his hand sleepily, "I don't know how it's possible but yeah." I said and walked towards the stairs, "your body is literally making a human so I think that might be why" he said with a laugh and walked me up to his room. Once we got there I plopped onto his bed and curled up, "want me to stay in here with you?" Colby said and closed the door, "just until I fall asleep." I said and held my arms out, basically begging him to cuddle with me. He laughed and slid into the bed next to me and pulled me to him causing a sigh to fall from my lips. "I love you." I whispered and laid my head on his chest. "I love you too." He said just before I drifted off to sleep.
