I laid back on Colby's bed, letting myself melt into it. My body and mind had been through a lot today and it was really hitting me hard right now. I heard someone come into the room and sigh, sitting on the edge of the bed. My eyes opened to see Sam with his head in his hands, "was she upset?" I said and he chuckled, "she's beyond stressed and pissed about it. You might need to call her too..." I sat up as Colby walked into the room. "Yeah, I probably should..I'll be back" I said and stood up. Colby looked at me as I passed him to leave the room, "I have to call Kat." I said then kissed him quickly before leaving the room.

I pulled my phone out and walked to an empty bedroom down the hall. "Cora Elizabeth Williams are you KIDDING me." Kat said over the phone after 1 ring. "Kat everything is okay." I said and sat down on the bed. "Do you realize what could have happened to you guys? Do you realize how close you came. Everything is NOT okay." I rubbed my eyes sleepily as she yelled through the phone. "Trust me Katrina, I know more than anyone how close we came. Frankly I'm about three seconds away from a panic attack thinking about what could have happened, but it didn't happen! We are okay. Please take a deep breath." I heard her sigh, "it just scares me. I'm thousands of miles away...if something like that happened I don't know what I would do Cora, you guys mean so much to me the thought of losing you is so scary." Her voice was thick causing tears to form in my eyes.

"I'm sorry Kat. I know how hard this is for you..please don't worry though, the boys are taking a break from YouTube for a while. They won't be doing anything like this for a while, and knowing Colby I will never be doing anything like this ever again." I heard her sniffle on the other end, "You're right, thank you for talking some sense into them, I know the fans won't be too happy about their leave of absence but it's what's best for them..god I'm so glad you guys are okay." She sighed out. I nodded and wiped the tears off my face, "me too..Kat it was so scary." I breathed out, letting more tears fall. "I can't even imagine. How are you feeling by the way? Sam told me you passed out??" I laughed, "yeah, I'm fine, just a dumbass. But I'm honestly so tired, I really should go to sleep." Kat chuckled, "okay, I'm glad you're okay, I love you. Don't let those dumb ass boys do anything else. Get some sleep, I'll talk to you later." I nodded, "goodnight, love you too." I said then hung up.

I took a deep breath and wiped my face, before standing up and walking back to Colby's room, he and Sam were filming again so I slid my back down the wall, letting my head fall back as my eyes closed. I fell asleep almost instantly as they continued to talk to the camera.

We sat in the warehouse, upstairs, trapped. "Don't make any noises." Colby whispered and held his hand to my mouth. Sam sat next to him, tears forming in his eyes as we heard bloody screams from downstairs. We were doing a great job at being silent until I felt the floor crack under me. "Shit." I hissed as the floor gave away and I fell through completely.

The screams were closer now, and heavy footsteps were now approaching me. I looked up and couldn't see Sam or Colby. I let out a scream as

Someone picked me up and started to walk with me. I kicked and kicked, screaming for help. "It's alright baby girl, I'm here I'm here" I heard Colby say but I couldn't see him. I looked around frantically as I was still being dragged along, my screams still bouncing off the walls. "Sh, wake up baby." I heard Colby's voice again, as the room filled with light.

I woke up whimpering, Colby was holding me, carrying me to the bed. Sam wasn't in the room anymore. "It's alright baby, it was just a dream. You're safe now." He set me down on the bed but I clung to him, not letting him walk around to the other side of the bed, "I'm not leaving you.. I'm not going anywhere." He cooed and stood up straight, pulling his shirt off and sliding into the bed. "Colby.." I said shakily and moved more towards him, "what's wrong? Are you okay?" He said pulling my chin up so I was looking at him. "Hold me...please don't let go." I sounded pathetic as he wrapped his arms tightly around me, kissing the top of my head. "I'm not going anywhere, please breathe for me, I'm right here." He played with my hair as I cowered into him. "I'm sorry." I whispered as he kissed my head again, "Don't be sorry." He said and tightened his grip on me slightly. "Did you talk to Kat?" He said quietly as he rubbed my back, after a couple moments of silence. His voice was course, showing me he was tired. "I did, she's just scared about what happened, which is understandable. She's glad you guys are taking a break from YouTube...I am too." He hummed quietly, "it's what's best for us right now." He said quietly as he yawned. I could hear him falling asleep, his head resting against my own. "Goodnight,babe." I said and kissed his shoulder. "I love you." He said and dosed off immediately.

I let myself relax a little, watching him carefully. I didn't realize how stressed his face was until it fully relaxed in his sleep. My heart sank at how much pressure he probably felt, I wanted to take it all away from him.

It didn't take long for me to fall asleep again, but luckily this time I didn't have any nightmares. Instead, hours later, I woke up in Colby's arms, the smell of bacon flooded the room. "Good morning baby." He said with a husky voice. "How did you sleep?" I said and nuzzled myself into him more. "Pretty good, we have some fun plans for today, so I think it's gonna be a good day." I smiled at his optimism. "What are we doing?" I said sitting up, tying my hair into a bun. "We are going to go hang out with Alex and Nate, you'll get to meet my high school friends." I smiled as he got out of the bed, pulling a shirt on, "I'm excited." He laughed, "they don't think you exist, they think I made you up so I would finally not be single." I laughed, "well then I'm not coming." His eyes widened, "babe! You can't do that to me!" He laughed and ran to me, "I don't know...I think I would rather hang out with your parents....hmmmm" I said as he put his hands on my hips, "oh yeah? You don't want to go to the arcade with us?" He said raising his brows. "You know I love crane games.." I mumbled and he laughed, "yeah...but you don't want to go so...that's a shame." He started to pull his hands away, but I jumped into his arms, "I was kidding!! Let me come pleeeease" he laughed and kissed my cheek, "alright, but you can't act crazy like you are right now, your leg is still hurt, and my mom will kill you if those stitches come out." I nodded and kissed him. "Won't be a problem." I said as he grabbed my hand and led me out of the room.

When we walked downstairs Sam was sitting at the table talking to Mr.Brock. Mrs. Brock was finishing up breakfast as we we entered the kitchen, "good morning sleepy heads." She sang out and turned around with a plate of bacon. "Morning mom." Colby said and pulled out a chair for me, "morning Mrs. Brock." I said with a smile. No matter how sweet she was I still found myself being cautious around her. "What are your plans for today?" Mr. Brock said as he brought a glass of orange juice up to his lips. "We are going to the arcade with Alex and Nate, then I thought I could treat you to some dinner or something." Colby said as his mom placed a plate of food down in front of both of us. "Sounds like fun. And honey you don't have to treat us, you're visiting." Colby scoffed at his mother, "exactly. I'm treating you whether you like it or not." His mom smiled and rustled his hair, then leaned down and placed a kiss on it. "I miss having you around." She said quietly, then turned back to the stove to pull off the eggs she was making.
