By the time we got back to the hospital my dad was awake again, he looked much less panicked this time. "Squirt is that you?" He said with a soft crackled voice. A smiled bloomed on my face. "Hi dad" I said and ran up to him, hugging him lightly. "I'm sorry if I scared you." He said and brushed the hair from my face, "it's okay dad, I'm just glad you're okay." I said as tears were brought to my eyes. "Where's that boyfriend of yours? Did he come?" He looked around the room a little. It made me laugh that he was so concerned about my boyfriend when he just woke up from a coma. "He came, but he had to go back to LA last night for some business." I gestured over to Kat, "this is my friend Katrina though." She smiled and waved, "hi Cora's dad! I'm glad you're okay." She said and smiled as he waved to her. "It's nice to meet you thanks for taking care of my daughter." Having him here and back with us felt so good, I was almost in tears with how happy I was.

I felt my phone buzzing in my pocket, "speak of the devil, it's Colby, I'll be right back." I smiled at my phone and walked out.

"Hey Colby" I smiled

"Hey baby, how's it going there?" I glanced back in the room, my dad was talking to Kat.

"It's good, Colby he woke up..and he's talking and he has no memory loss that I know of...he's gonna be okay." I said and cried a couple tears of relief.

"Cora that's such good news." He said with a chuckled,

"What are you up to? I'm so happy for you and Sam" I wiped my face as I spoke.

"We are gonna go out with the guys to celebrate, thank you for encouraging me to come back to LA...I'm really happy" he said and was clearly getting a little emotional.

"I knew you would get it, I'm so proud of you baby." I said and smiled to myself.

"I have to go now, but I'll call you either tomorrow or tonight. Love you" he said and blew an air kiss through the phone

"Love you more." I said hung up.

The rest of the day we spent at the hospital with my dad, Kat and him really bonded and it was really special to see. We eventually went back to the house and were hanging out. We ordered a pizza and were watching a movie.

"I'm so glad your dad is alright, he's such a cool dude," Kat said as she stuffed a piece of pizza in her mouth. "Me too." I smiled and pulled out my phone casually scrolling through Instagram. The boys would occasionally post updates on their night out. I could tell Colby was already a bit tipsy from the way he was acting in the posts. I smiled at my phone and locked it, "What are you smiling at?" Kat said and I giggled, "Kat..I'm really in love." I admitted and she smiled, "I know. You have opened up so much since you met him, and Colby is really a good guy for you." I nodded, "I just feel like I don't deserve him, he really is the sweetest." She shook her head, "you two deserve each other. He went through a lot of tough stuff and wasn't himself for a while. We were all really worried about him, but then you two met and it's almost like he was back to his normal self, it's like you were his missing piece." I smiled slightly as I got a phone call from Colby. "It's like he knows when we are talking about him." I mumbled and picked up the phone.

"Cora." He said almost in tears. "Colby what happened are you okay?" I said sitting up, my heart was beating out of my chest. "Yeah...yeah I'm just really sorry." I could hear the tears in his voice. "What are you sorry for?"

There was a long pause.

"Cora..Jen kissed me again."

At first anger boiled within me, but then I realized getting mad at him would solve nothing. I chuckled a little, "it's okay Colby. I know how she is." He took a deep breath, "I'm so sorry." He repeated, "she ambushed me, and...and her friend got a video of it and now everyone's talking and I didn't want you to see it before I could tell you, I was so scared of breaking your heart. I'm so sorry Cora. I promise I pushed her away..there's nothing between us." I shook my head, "calm down Colby..I know you wouldn't do that to me..I trust you." I said and he sniffled. I sighed, "Baby, have fun tonight, I'm not mad at you. I'll be home in a couple days and I'll deal with her then, okay?" Kat's face shifted to a confused glare as I talked. "Okay...thank you for being the coolest girlfriend. I can't wait to see you, I love you." He said and I smiled, "I love you too, now go have some fun, but not too much fun." I said pretending to be stirn. He chuckled and hung up.

"What was that about?" I took a deep breath, "Jen kissed Colby." She gasped, "that bitch! How are you not mad right now?!" She said and I laughed, "oh I'm mad, but I can't do anything about it right this second, and I know Colby. I trust him." She laughed, "you're better than me girl, I would kill her." I laughed a bit, "maybe I will when I get back home."

I tried to not let it bother me, but the insecurity was eating away at me. I knew I could trust Colby but I couldn't trust Jen.
