It was late at night and Dream was still up, feet dangling off the edge of the hotel bed.
This was all so incredibly surreal.
George on the bed next to him instead if an ocean away, meeting the people that supported him every day in his career and having a his friends around.
Everything was so insanely hard to process.
Suddenly the mattress next to him sank in and George sat next to him.
"Hi", he mumbled sleepily and leaned against the blonde. "Hi", he mumbled back, a smile tugging on his lips, "Why aren't you sleeping?" "I don't know, just woke up and saw you pondering all by yourself."
"You wanna ponder with me?" "Yeah, I do"
Dream put an arm around him, pulled him closer and leaned his head against George's.
"What are we pondering about?" "About each other", Dream suggested and George chuckled, nudged his side. "You ship us more then the fans" "Yeah, I do"
"It's like you love me or something", George joked, but Dream stayed serious.
"Well, that's because I am.", he replied, a little anxiety messing with his heart, hands trembling a little, "I know you probably don't feel the same way and that's okay. It's just, you're so great, I- I don't know how I couldn't fall in love with you"
Suddenly George reached for his hand.
"You think I'm so great there wasn't a chance you wouldn't fall? Well, look at yourself and tell me that what you see isn't all I've ever wanted", he tried quietly, thumb running over the back of his hand, "I might be shipping dnf a little more then I should too"
Dream felt butterflies in his stomach and smiled widely. "I think that's pretty awesome" "Yeah", George chuckled, "It's pretty cool" "You wanna kiss, instead of pondering?", Dream asked, turning to look at him. George smiled and nodded, leaning in, meeting Dream half way.
He tasted like chocolate and admiration.
Like new adventures and love.
