Flashes of brown hair,
that stunning smile that had him captured,
a joyful gaze meeting his.
George. He was here. He was here! He was finally here!
Dream heart almost threatened to jump right out of his chest, as he reached forward and-
He fell out of his bed. Hit the ground as if it was the harsh reality, that set in as he realized it had been a dream. Again.
It had been nothing more then a stupid, painful, fucking dream.
He threw the water bottle he had knocked off the nightstand in his sleep against the wall opposite of him to get out his frustration in his half asleep delirium.
"Every fucking time", he cursed.
A few minutes later his alarm rang and he turned it off quickly, not leaving the floor, instead rubbing his eyes and trying to connect with reality fully.
Then it knocked on the door loudly.
"You better get ready fast, cause Georges plane is about to land, they took off earlier!", Sapnap yelled and Dreams eyes widened.
It was the day. How did he not realize?
Within seconds he was dressed and rushing into the bathroom, rushing out of it even quicker, tossing Sapnap the keys as he tried to put his shoes on and eat his breakfast at the same time.
Sapnap barely caught them, not prepared for the eagerness Dream stormed through the house with. He grinned. "Excited to see Gogy, huh? You gonna kiss him?"
"I wish", Dream said, stopping in his movement and looking and Sapnap, "You didn't hear that" "You actually like George?", Sapnap asked with a smirk, "I meant not that I'm surprised, but dude, actually?"
"Oh, shut up" "Do you want me to take a pic of that first airport kiss?" "I won't kiss him, no matter how much I would like to", Dream mumbled, tying his shoelaces, "I don't want him to flee back to the UK on the next flight. I'd rather keep it to myself if that means he'll stay"
"I thought that about Karl too and look at us now, engaged and about to buy our first house together", Sapnap said, "Things aren't as hopeless as they might seem"
"Yeah, yeah."
On their way to the airport Dream fidgeted with the seem of his shirt and constantly checked his phone, until he suddenly got a call. George. He pressed the green button quickly, held the phone to his ear.

"Hi", he said and George replied with an energetic: "Hey! I'm at the luggage claim, are you there yet?" "Uhh...", Dream looked over at the Google Maps tab that was open on Sapnaps phone, "We're about there, like five minutes. You want me to stay on the line?"
"Yeah, sure, I'll just wait till you're here", George replied and Dream could hear how he was smiling, "How are you?"
"Nervous", Dream replied, his nervous laugh only supporting his answer, "How was the flight?" "I thought I'd die, there were so many turbulences. I'll never fly transcontinental again", George replied and Dream smiled. "Guess you'll never leave us again, huh?"
"No, you'll have to deal with me forever", the brunette said and Dream mumbled: "I could imagine worse things then having you around forever" "Maybe we should still marry, just to be sure about the visa thing", George joked. "Yeah, I'd marry you", the blonde replied, tried to make it sound like a joke as well, "For a visa. Of course."
"I can see my suitcase, give me a second", George said and Dream heard him walking.
"You're so whipped", Sapnap said, "Just give him a big ol' kiss. I'll take a picture"
"I won't kiss him" "Kiss who?", George suddenly asked on the other end.
Dream blushed. "Don't worry about it, Sapnap is being weird."
A few minutes later they arrived at the airport. "We're here", Dream said, suddenly felt anxiety raising in him, he felt his hands shaking. Sapnap already got out the car, waiting for Dream to do the same, but the blonde couldn't move. "Alright I'll go through customs then and meet you at the arrivals"
"Yeah, uhm- actually I think I need a moment to get inside. Maybe Sapnap will go in without me, so look for him."
"Why won't you come in?" "I don't like to go outside and I'm pretty scared people will see me with you guys and leak my face and stuff", Dream mumbled, nervously ran his hand over his neck, "I- I'll try. I promise. For you, I'll try."
"It's okay, Dream. You don't have to, if you don't want to" "But I want to. I wanna hug you as soon as you step out of there.", the blonde tried to explain, "I'll try. Just give me a minute" "Okay, don't worry. Take the time you need, the line here is pretty long anyways. And when you can, you can't and then we'll first meet in the car and that's okay too"

Suddenly Sapnap opened the car door, gave him a smile. "You can do it", he handed him a mask, "We believe in you. Right George?"
George heard the question faintly and said: "Of course. You're Dream, you can do everything."
Dream took a deep breath, then handed Sapnap the phone and put the mask on.
"We're on our way, Gogy. It'll take like five minutes", Sapnap said and after a moment he ended the call, "He's getting his visa and passport checked. So we have time."
Dream got out of the car, wiped his sweaty palms on his jeans and put his phone into his back pocket.
"Okay", he said pushing his trembling hands into his hoodie pockets.
"George is home now, isn't that nice?", Sapnap asked and Dream smiled a little. "Yeah, that's pretty nice."
They started walking and close to the entrance Sapnap put on a mask too.
Dream stopped in Front of the glass door, as he saw how many people were inside and another wave of anxiety rushed over him.
"Breath", Sapnap said next to him, waiting patiently, "Slowly. No one can hurt you, okay? You're wearing a mask and no one can see your whole face. And you're in control right now. If you want, you can alway go back and wait in the car."
"But it's George, I wanna be the first person he hugs and I just wanna hold him so bad.", Dream replied, "I can do it. For him, I'd do anything."
He picked on his fingernails and looked at the ground, then back inside. "At least I'm willing to try", he mumbled and started walking towards the doors slowly.
The cold feeling of his anxiety creeped over his arms, but he didn't stop walking.
He needed to see George.
They walked towards arrivals and then suddenly he saw George in the crowd, looking at his phone, patiently waiting.
He felt himself tearing up and he looked over at Sapnap. "He's actually here", he mumbled, lips slightly parted in awe as he looked back at the brunette, "God, he's so beautiful"
Quickly he walked towards him and right in front of him he just couldn't do anything, it felt like one of his dreams.
He froze and just looked at George from a few steps away and then very quietly asked: "George?"
The brunette looked up from his phone, started smiling. "Dream?", he asked and the blonde felt a tear slip from his eyes as he nodded, a wide smile forming on his lips, anxiety easing away.
George smiled and Dream could see tears in his eyes too, as he went to hug him.
"Is this even real?", he asked, absolutely overwhelmed, pulling George closer against his chest, bending down just a bit.
"It's finally real", George said and Dream heard him sob. "No, don't cry", the blonde said with a chuckle, crying himself.
"Don't tell me I shouldn't cry, when you do too", George said, holding on tighter.
Dream ruffled his hair gently, sobbed and just couldn't believe that he finally had George here, in the US, in his arms.
Carefully he raised his hands to place them on Georges cheeks. "You're so beautiful", he whispered, "God, you're finally here"
George smiled and then he leaned in closer, foreheads almost touching.
"I really want you to kiss me", he said, "Is that crazy?"
Dreams eyes widened with surprise and then he quickly pulled down his mask and leaned down and closed the distance between them. He was so sure he would wake up, but when George kissed him back he knew it was reality.
He felt how the brunette reached for his hood and pulled it over the blonde hair, then so far into his face that no one could see him. Dreams hands reached for his waist, pulling him closer, heart almost jumping out of his chest.
Slowly they parted, but George kept close enough so no one could see Dreams face behind the fabric of the hood.
"Well, what are we now?", George asked and Dream smiled at him with lovey dovey expression and said: "Whatever you want us to be" "So we're boyfriends?"
Dream nodded, kissed the brunettes forehead, before pulling up his mask.
"I knew it, you're more then a little in love with me", George teased him and Dream smiled. "I'm a little much in love with you"
"Well, I'm in love with you too"
