George was confident.
And Dream was addicted to confidence.
Whenever George would walk past his office door, hips swinging left and right and he'd give Dream his signature smirk, he would be absolutely blown away.
Every once in a while the brunette would also give him a tempting look or a wink and more than once Dream had made unnecessary walks past Georges office, just so he could invite him to lunch or a coffee break.
But George had always told him no.
Until today.
"How about we go and grab a coffee in the café down the street?", Dream asked, already sure that the brunette had something better to do, when he suddenly saw George smile. "Yeah, sure. I'll just get these papers ready and then I'm ready"
"Wait, seriously?" "Yes, seriously"
Dream started smiling, a happy, giddy feeling filling his body, as he realized he finally had the chance to spend time with pretty, confident George.
"I'll wait for you at the door, is that okay?", he asked and George nodded. "Yeah, that's fine"
With a happy smile Dream walked out, towards the main door and his good mood was so obvious that Sapnap and Karl who just returned from their lunch break got curious.
"Why are you so happy?", Sapnap asked, one arm wrapped around Karls waist.
"I'm just having a good day", Dream replied and his face lit up impossibly more, when George walked towards them.
"Ah, I see", Sapnap said quietly and gave Dream a knowing look.
"We have to go do our job now, so see you later", Karl said, pulling Sapnap towards the elevator.
Without hesitation George reached for Dreams arm when he was close enough and asked: "Ready?"
The blonde blushed and nodded. "Yeah, absolutely"
Together they walked outside, towards the café on the corner. "How about you pick us a table and I'll go and order for us?", Dream asked and George nodded: "Yeah sure, I'll take a hot chocolate"

"Alright, coming right up", Dream said, before he walked over to the counter, happy smile not leaving his face.
He ordered and paid for them, before he walked over to George who had picked a cozy corner for them.
He placed a mug with hot chocolate in front of George, before he took the sugar to dump two spoons into his flat white.
"That's an obscene amount of sugar", George commented and Dream laughed nervously. "Well, I like coffee, but only when it's sweet" "You don't need to justify yourself"
Dream didn't know how to reply, nodded with a shy smile. George stirred his hot chocolate and said: "You're pretty sweet, no wonder your coffee is too"
The blonde blushed a dark red. "Thank you", he mumbled and George chuckled.
"You're so cute", he said, "I should've said yes to your invites earlier."
Dream couldn't stop smiling, even giggled in joy. "I hoped you would say yes eventually"
George leaned his head to the side and smiled at him. "You like me, huh?"
"I do, yeah", Dream confessed, now also feelings his ears heat up, "You're smart and confident and beautiful, how couldn't I like you?"
Now George started blushing. "That's very sweet", he replied, suddenly a little shy, "I- I like you too" "Really?", Dream asked, whole demeanor suddenly resembling an excited golden retriever.
George nodded and smiled.
"That's so cool", Dream replied, heart racing. For a moment he hesitated, before he asked: "Could I take you on a date on the weekend? Like an actual date, like a picnic or something?"
George looked at him a bit surprised, but quickly nodded. "Yeah, I'd love that"
Dream giggled excitedly and George looked at him in awe. "You really mean this? Like that- you- you like me?"

The blonde looked at him a little confused and quickly said: "Yes, yes of course. You're pretty amazing and I really wanna get to know you"
George looked down at his mug and smiled.
"Okay", he replied, "That's cool"
Dream reached for his hand carefully.
"I really mean it, I don't know what happened in the past that makes you doubt that someone would want to be with someone as awesome as you, but I mean it when I say I wanna get to know you."
George squeezed his hand and nodded.
"You're really awesome too"
