"Ahhh the fresh air breeze..." Y/N sighed smiling. "Even though I have done this more than once I won't get enough of this feeling..."

"Hmm..." Levi gazed at the glowing joyous Y/N excited to show everyone the land of Marley. Even before this day came, Y/N talked to them about the stuff called ice cream, cars, buildings and other more things that made the Survey Corps mostly Hange crave to see.

Everyone was leaning on the railings of the boat headed to Marley. All wearing suits that Hange suggested will make us 'sophisticated looking'. Despite Mikasa and Sasha wearing long skirts, Y/N and Hange wore pants.

"What if soldiers recognise you?" Levi asked beside her.

"Since Zeke told the higher-ups that I'm in a so-called training camp, I'll tell the people who recognized me that my training ended earlier than expected," Y/N replied.

"Ah, I see..." Levi expressed his tenderness with a smile.

"Thank god Luke took care of my unfinished paperwork..." Y/N sighed.

"Luke, who?"

"Oh..." Y/N giggled as she forgot to tell Levi about her meeting her squad already. "I already got to meet my squad when you were quite busy at that time."

"Heh... I should be fine... Getting to meet my new squad." Y/N talked to herself who is slightly nervous. "Why and how the fuck did I speedrun getting promoted from a soldier to a squad captain? Fuck... I should just act natural. No human would like someone with a fake personality."

Y/N is waiting in a small meeting room to meet her squad before the mission to infiltrate Marley.

"We should be fine... I think... Hah..." Y/N sighed relentlessly... "Fuck Erwin for giving me this fucking job of being a squad captain. I can't keep on track with my own life and now I'm trying to keep track of my squad at all times."

The sound of the door was heard as Y/N straightened her mental state and back, facing her new squad who formed a line in front of her.

Starting on the right was the tallest amongst everyone in the room that Y/N presumed his name was From his profile, he's known to be a tactical man with tricks up to his sleeve. He may look like a weak twig but he is rough to the core. Ludwig had darkish brown hair and brown eyes. Y/N might think that Ludwig was a pole.

Next to the tall pole, Ludwig is a small girl that was about the height of Levi. The girl was shaking a bit from the nervousness. Y/N could tell she's a gentle type. The girl's name in the profile is Clementia is a girl that Y/N didn't consider putting into the squad but she had a feeling with a little training with the girl she'll fit in the group in skill. Clementia had short wavy grey hair with soft-looking black eyes. Y/N almost wanted to adopt her.

Next to gentle cute Clementia was a tough-looking redhead girl who was taller than Y/N. Y/N recalled from seeing their profile was that she was one of the tops in the class her name was Y/N could tell she would get along with Saoirse very well.

Then lastly, a grey-headed boy with eye-catching green eyes stood. Y/N heard of his name, Luke Fallamhan from some scouts who fawn over his handsomeness and leadership. When Y/N went to pick up some papers from the training corps, Keith Shadis told her about his leadership and stuff that made him sound very cool plus women in the training corps fangirl over him even some men.

'My Levi is much more handsome' Y/N smirked feeling very proud of her love.

"Ok... Nice to meet you. I am your Captain of this squad, Y/N Yeager. You might have or not heard me somewhere I don't know where but welcome. All I can say is welcome to the squad." Y/N greeted the members.

Marley is in sight as the ship rowed closer. The ship landed next to the pier as people slowly go down the large slanted plank with railing placed on the side.

"There really are towns outside the walls... And people are living in them." Connie spoke in awe.

"Don't say things like 'outside the walls' in front of other people" Jean scolded.

"At last... We will be the first who live within the walls to step foot on land outside of them..." Sasha spoke up.

"Um... Sasha." Y/N coughed as Sasha chuckled.

"Except for you, Y/N." Sasha corrected.

Everyone went down setting foot on the land of Marley.

"Let the survey begin..." Hange said ecstatically to see the new technology of the neighbouring country.

Everyone except for Y/N was in awe of the surroundings. The buildings were completely different from Paradis. The clothes. The shops. The people who wore more elegant clothes. It was very different to Paradis. Everyone's mouth hangs wide or their eyes large in awe except for Y/N. Y/N giggled seeing her colleagues in this state of astonishment.

The Survey Corps finally came up to Onyakopon as like his kind and gentlemen like self he took off his hat and welcomed the Survey Corps.

"Welcome to the continent of Marley. Allow me to guide you to Miss Azumabito's estate." Onyakopon suggested.

"Y/N. Do you know where Kiyomi's estate is?" Mikasa leaned next to Y/N giving her a question.

"I don't know. I've never been interested in high-class people when I once lived here." Y/N answered.

"H-huh?!!!" Connie exclaimed as he pointed at the simple-looking black car as a couple were riding it, minding their own business. "That horse...! Huh? Is that a horse?!"

"How the fuck does that look like a horse?" Y/N asked trying to figure out which parts of the car looked like a horse. All Y/N could do was wheeze out loud like a kettle. Yes, Y/N does know that the others were new to the technology but it was hard for her not to laugh.

"No... Isn't that a cow?!! It's a kind of cow!!" Sasha exclaimed causing Y/N's kettle wheeze to worsen.

"It's a car!! Hello, Car! We heard about them before!!!" Hange exclaimed as well waving at it.

"I... I forgot to tell them... That cars are manmade things." Y/N wheezed worse than ever as she leaned heavily on Levi.

"Dumb, Dumber and Dumbest..." Levi snickered silently who is still getting leaned on by a wheezing short girl named Y/N...

"Onyakopon I can't..." Y/N wheezed once more as Onyakopon patted her shoulder for emotional-support...

"Hmph!" A couple walked past by seeing the commotion as Jean's cheeks redden from the embarrassment. Other people began to notice the ruckus.

"This is bad. they're starting at us..." Armin spoke out a bit worried...

"Yeah... They must think we're bumpkins..." Jean leaned over his hat forward from embarrassment with flush red cheeks. "Pretend we don't know them..."

"There are so many people..." Mikasa spoke out still in awe of the massive crowds of people.

"They're buying carrots!" Onyakopon pointed out sweat dropping. When Y/N looked in the direction of Hange, Connie and Sasha bought literal carrots, she quickly puff out a heavy wheeze that made every oxygen in her system run out.

"I can't... Breathe..." Y/N gripped tight at Levi's arm as she still cackled through the pain of no oxygen.

In an immediate response, Levi connected his lips to Y/N's giving her the oxygen she needed. After a few seconds, Levi disconnected his lips from hers as Y/N sighed out in relief.

"Thank you fucking much, Levi. I could've actually died at that second." Y/N smiled as Levi kissed her forehead caringly. "Thanks for sharing your holy air, Sir Levi Ackerman."

"If we don't stop them they're going to try to feed carrots to that lump of iron." Levi's caring and loving eyes vanished quickly when his attention diverted to some three idiots as he squinted his eyes in annoyance.

"Ha! Oh please..." Onyakopon chuckled as Y/N just continued to laugh.

"I just can't with all of you..." Y/N gripped her stomach after laughing while wiping her tears of laughter.

"Hey, Eren. There's no telling what will happen here... So please don't leave my side..." Mikasa turned around to face Eren but Eren was lost in thought and seem to not hear Mikasa. Eren's eyes looked like he was about to cry but he tried not to. He was looking longingly and sadly at the crowd for some reason.

"Eren?" Mikasa called for Eren as Y/N came up next to her noticing Eren's behaviour of spacing out or gazing through nothing.

"Y...yeah" Eren answered who seemed unsure and wasn't completely listening.

"What're you spaced out for, Eren?" Armin came up to him with a bright smile and hopeful eyes just like when he was still a child. "We're in the world outside the walls, aren't we?!"

Eren looked down for a second somewhat thinking what to answer. Y/N noticed his weird actions as she now confirmed that Eren hugely changed. The girl just squinted her eyes telling herself to put her guard up just in case. This is not the Eren, Y/N knew.

"Hey! Stay with the group..." Levi called out then diverted his gaze on Eren. "You, especially..."

"We'll be right there!" Armin replied as the 4 began to catch up to the group.

Y/N glanced at Eren who began to space out once again then glanced at Mikasa and Armin who was walking in front of her.

The girl asking to herself why and how have they not noticed Eren's oddly suspicious behaviour that needs to be examined. Y/N once again glanced at Eren who also glanced back at her. Y/N just replied with a smirk then went away to Levi leaving Eren, Mikasa and Armin.

"I'll take this please!" Sasha took out her small pouch with money in it handing it over to an ice cream vendor.

"Hey, Sasha! Stop going on your own!-" Jean scolded but was interrupted by Y/N who paid for Sasha's ice cream.

"Y/N!!! Thank you so much!!!" Sasha hugged Y/N as she took her ice cream. "You are the best!!"

"No worries... Ice cream is my favourite." Y/N replied with a smile suggesting to the vendor to order another ice cream.

"Much appreciated..." The vendor thanked...

After a while, jean, Sasha and Connie looked surprised and shocked about the flavour of the cold sweet ice cream on their hands. They have never tasted anything as cold as ice cream even the unique sweetness that comes with it. All Y/N could do was giggle at her friends while enjoying her ice cream.

"Hng!?! This thing is cold!!?" Sasha exclaimed.

"What is it?!" Connie exclaimed as well looking at his ice cream in surprise.

"You guys gotta try this!!" Jean exclaimed loudly as he presented ice cream to Armin and Mikasa who looked intrigued.

"Is this your friend's first time eating ice cream?" The vendor asked Y/N smiling kindly at his customer's reaction.

"Yeah very much..." Y/N giggled as she took the ice cream that the vendor had just made thanking him for his genuine kind service.

"After all that talk about blending..." Levi shook his head in utter disappointment for his colleagues.

"It's fine. No one's going to think we're those devil islands." Hange answered back.

"Hange's right, Levi. If we really are the so-called devils then we could've acted like devils ourselves." Y/N smiled widely with a row of blush on her cheeks at Levi as she handed him an ice cream. "Here taste it. I promise you it doesn't taste like Horse's shit."

Levi smiled a bit as he tried to conceal it because Hange and Onyakopon were with them. He took the ice cream with a small tint of red on his cheeks. The Captain was truly heartstruck by Y/N's so-called cuteness that she did a second ago.

"Hey there, son... You want some candy?" A clown went up behind Levi holding a lollipop in their hand. The captain's face fell darkened as his smile turned into the sudden grumpy frown he always had. His mood was ruined as Y/N began to wheeze and laugh so bad while holding onto Onyakopon for her dear life.

Levi turned around to meet the clown behind him face to face.

"Wow, you look so cool! Are you kids playing gangster?" The clown once again asked noticing Y/N, Hange and Onyakopon were with Levi.

"I'm... So sorry, Mr Clown but..." Y/N came up to Levi as she held both of his shoulders leaning close to him. "If he's a gangster, I don't think his boss permitted him to torture me with those handsome looks."

"My wallet!" Y/N didn't feel anything in her pockets as she tried to buy hotdogs from a stand.

With Levi's quick intuition, speed and determination to find his beloved lover's wallet, he grasps a small boy's hand who held Y/N's wallet.

"Hey, that's not your purse," Levi said as the small boy started to become nervous and scared.

'Such a cute boy...' Y/N admired forgetting the fact that the boy pickpocketed her In the first place.

"A pickpocket!"

"Another one of those immigrants!"

Levi let go of the boy's hands as a small crowd formed. Levi took Y/N's hand and lightly pulled her close to him.

"I bet he snuck into a ship." A person spoke out.

"How'd you come here?" A man asked but the small boy speak in another language confused by the question. "He can't understand us..."

"Why don't we let him into the sea?"

"No, let's smash his right hand..."

"Let's hang him up somewhere everyone can see and let him dangle there."

"I bet that'll help discourage those sneaks..."

"This motherfuckers..." Y/N whispered to herself as rage and anger came through her. "They treat such a poor child like he's just a piece of trash bothering people. He's just a child. If only I can kill them with my own hands."

Levi glanced at Y/N squeezing her hand lightly telling her to calm down. The Captain knew Y/N well that she could not handle unfair treatment but they had to lay low.

"He reminded me so much of Eren when he was getting bullied by kids when he was young," Y/N whispered to Levi as he comforted her reassuring her that they'll save the boy.

"If we don't set an example by punishing him... It'll be a problem for all the merchants making a living here."

"What?! That's going too far! She already had her purse back!" Sasha defended as Levi whispered something into Y/N's ear.

"This isn't your problem missy." The man scowled as Y/N nodded at Levi's statement.

"Every country's been running blood tests all over the place recently. It's no laughing matter if we let devils' blood slip into our communities."

The small boy was already shaking from fear. Scared of what they're going to do to him next. It made Y/N pity the boy. No innocent child should be caught up in such a racist matter just because of their origin.

"Mgh!!! Who knows. If he's an exiled immigrant, he might even be one of those subjects of Ymir!"

Y/N saw that the small child glanced for her in helplessness. With Y/N's heart softened because of the child, she pulled Levi's arm lightly.

"He reminds me of you..." Y/N said. Levi once talked about his past on how he survived pickpocketing when he was still a child.

Levi looked at the child with the same pity remembering his past as he picked him up and walked away with Y/N.

"Hey... what are you doing?!" A man threateningly asked.

"Who said he was a pickpocket? I said that wasn't his purse." Levi said as he pointed at Y/N. "The purse is his older sister."

"Yeah sorry about the ruckus, people. This is why you should always shut your dirty mouth holes first and listen to the actual situation at hand." Y/N waved at the people giving them a not so apologetic smirk.

"Yer they've got a really complicated family situation... Isn't that right?" Hange reassured as they sweatdropped anxiously for the people to believe the story.

"You expect us to buy that?!!" A man shouted as the people with him became agitated and annoyed.

"Let's go," Levi ordered as the Survey Corps and the small boy Levi was carrying dashed fast away as Y/N held up a middle finger to the people giving a devilish smirk.

After going to a more secluded place the Survey Corps stopped to take a rest as Y/N checked her pockets once again and noticed that her purse wasn't there.

"Where'd that kid go?" Levi asked.

"Over there..." Eren pointed at the boy who was on top of a hill holding up Y/N purse in delight as small tears formed on his eyes from happiness.

Y/N smiled seeing the small boy happy and just letting it go.

"Hey, kid! Enjoy my monthly salary and have a nice dinner! Make sure to repay me by teaching me your pickpocketing tricks!!" Y/N waved back at the kid happy.

The kid left leaving the Survey Corps all alone.

"Ah, kids... I wish I had one..." Y/N sighed in relief.

When Y/N was young she never wished to have kids at all, she saw them as small annoying creatures who were bound to learn once they grow up and irritate her as much as Eren's shouting whenever he turns into a titan.

But when she grew a bit mature, she saw the cuteness of children with how they move and interact with the world and people around them. Y/N cursed maturity as much as how her ass was very thick.

"I see... So that happened to you..." Kiyomi said. Everyone was in the Azumabito's place. "It is true that as blood testing technology has improved, the issue has arisen of Subject of Ymir who have escaped internment being discovered around the world..."

Kiyomi stood silent for a second but continued.

"At the height of the Eldian Empire, it was considered around the world to be proof one's high born status to have a subject of Ymir in one's bloodline... But as the empire crumbled the aristocracies who fawned upon Eldia found themselves being chased away from their nation." Kiyomi exclaimed. "This is the state of Eldian people outside the walls... And so I must admit it will be very difficult to carry out our plan... Of Paradis forming friendly relationships with other nations..."

Y/N's grip tightened hearing about it. The girl didn't know about this since her father won't tell her stuff like this when she was little. She wanted to kill anyone who was overly full of themselves even if it was the whole world.

Y/N closed her eyes to relax but that relaxation ended as she heard the terror of screaming from people. This was one of the most screams she has ever heard.

She was on the roads of Marley as people began to panic and run for their lives. Families evacuate while crying to be saved. Kids weeping who can't find their families because of the crowds running. People who just stood there waiting as they weep as if death has come to pick them up.

Y/N turned around as her eyes widened terrified by the scene in front of her. This was one of the most horrifying scenes she has ever looked upon to. Her draw dropped from shock.
