Once Eren had reached the Female titan, he had saw all of his dead squad mates' bloody state. Eren's face was horrified. He wanted to cry when his eyes darted to her older sister, Y/N in a blood bath of her own blood.

"I'll....." Eren said and looked once again at Y/N's body as his face turned in full despise. "Kill it!!"

Eren bit his hand as thunder stroke down. Eren successfully transformed into a titan as he screamed.

In the other parts of the forest, The Survey Corps where now aware that Eren had transformed. Mikasa and Levi went up to the sound of the roar.

Back at the two titans, Eren ran up to the Female titan who was kneeling a few meters away from Y/N. The Female Titan was aware and looked up.

Eren charged as the Female Titan stood up as it avoided Eren's punch giving Eren a nice kick.

More punched, attacks and avoids were made in the battle field by the two titans.

Meanwhile at the same time, Lance Corporal Levi had passed by Gunther who was hanging on a branch dead. Next was Eld who's upper body was on the grass with his own blood. Next was Olou who's dead as well on the grass with blood. Next was Petra who looked up the tree with dead eyes as blood was on her mouth and body.

The Lance Corporal kept a cold stare while passing through his dead squad. At last, he stopped by Y/N who laid on the grass with blood on her forehead and mouth.

The Lance Corporal stood there for a few minutes and took off his cloak. He wrapped it around Y/N's bloody forehead as he carried her in bridal style and zipped away.

Back to the two titans who were brawling, Eren had sat on top and pushed the Female Titan on the ground with a roar.

He put up his right fist up preparing for a punch.

'Because I made the wrong decision.... Because I wanted to believe in my comrades and my own sister.... everyone died... Even the last blood related family I had...' Eren remembered his older sister and squad mates' dead bodies. Eren was supposed to land a fast and hard punch but the Female titan had avoided it.

With the hard punch, his elbow bone showed up from his skin as his fingers were broken with dripping blood.

'If only I had believed in myself from the start and fought.... If only I had killed her from the start!' Eren roared once again and had successfully threw a punch on the Female Titan with his left fist.

'Back then.... if I'd transform into a titan.... no.. if I'd fought... Even before that time...' Eren remembered the time when some scouts were fighting to stop the Female titan and died. 'Lance Corporal Levi was there too.... We'd definetly have won... we could've even catched it'

Sufdenly Eren remembered the time where Levi had told him that he was free to transform anytime. 'I..... I made my decision... and everyone died because of it... Even the only blood related family that I cherish.. Because of me they all.... but in the end you're still responsible'

Eren glared at the Female Titan below him murderously as he roared in front if their faces. The Female Titan looked unbothered about it.

'I'll rip you apart once this hand heals... I'll split you wide open.. Tear you to bloody shreds.' Eren thought as his titan looked distorted as it tried to move it's hands. 'Mangle every last chunk and devour it all!'

The Female Titan had revived all of its eyes as they pushed Eren away behind a tree.

A lot of attacking, rolling, avoiding and roaring (mostly Eren) were made.

Before Eren could land a punch, the Female Titan had crystallized it's arm and punched it inside Eren's mouth. Though it didn't stop Eren as he punched the Female Titan as they flew from the air and land back to the ground.

Eren dashed up to the Female titan once again as they still avoided it. The Female Titan had went up to Eren as Eren looked paralyzed for some reason. Until the Female Titan had sliced Eren's neck with the tree beside him.

The rest of Eren's body sat down on the ground as the Female Titan opened it's mouth that was so wide and champ on the neck and showed Eren inside who looked tired.

"Eren!" Mikasa shouted and dashed as fast as she could until she stopped when the Female Titan had put Eren on they're mouth. Mikasa looked terrified at what happened as the Female Titan had ran some where else.

"Wait Eren..... don't go" Mikasa murmured as she put herself to together determinedly and chased the Female titan..

"Give Eren..." Mikasa spoke as she dashed faster as the Female Titan took notice of this and cupped her nape.

"Give Eren back!" She shouted and slashed the Female Titan's right cheek though it didn't stop Mikasa. Mikasa continued to slash through parts of the Female Titan's muscle as best as she could.

Mikasa had sliced the Female titan's behind they're knee as it couldn't run.

"Give him back!" Mikasa tried to slice of the Female Titan's hand that was crystallized, covering their nape but failed as she landed on a tree using her broken blade. " Why won't it go through?"

The titan looked at Mikasa. As the blood from titans evaporate from Mikasa's forehead.

"I know.. he's alive" Mikasa said as she changed her blades. "I know that Eren's alive! Wherever she goes, I'll be sure to kill her, slice her apart, and get you out of that filthy place. Sorry, Eren. Just wait a little longer."

The Female Titan tried to punch Mikasa but she avoided it in time.

"Stop!" Mikasa shouted as someone grabbed her cloak and bring her to a different direction. "Wh-what're you?"

Mikasa saw the face of the one and only Lance Corporal Levi as he carried Y/N who was injured on his left side. Mikasa's eyes widened and softened in concern for Y/N.

"Fall back for now" Levi ordered as Mikasa gritted looking at the way where the Female titan had ran.

The two landed on a tree branch as Levi settled down Y/N on it as he fired a purple smoke signal for help.

"W-what happened to her?" Mikasa asked as she touched Y/N's forehead that was covered by the Lance Corporal's cloak, lightly.

"The titan had injured her badly when I went there, I thought she was dead not until I had heard her breathe shortly and slowly." Levi said as he avoided telling about the rest of his squad. "She's still unconscious from lack of blood."

"But where were you? I thought Y/N was in your squad?" Mikasa asked as she looked at Y/N, who she felt like a real older sister from her.

The Lance Corporal didn't answer as two scouts arrived and discussed though Mikasa didn't want to be with them as she kept looking at the injured older girl infront of her.

Flashback.

It was just a year since Mikasa had become one of the Yeager family.

"Mikasa?" Y/N asked as the two of them were right behind Eren and Armin.

"Hm?" Mikasa hummed as they watched Eren and Armin discuss about stuff while they sat, leaning on the special place they love.

"Mikasa, I know this is random and all but I'm luck to have a little sister, even though you're don't have our blood." Y/N smiled and patted Mikasa's hair. "Even though there's a saying that blood is thicker than water is bullshit. If you need anything just say anything to your amazing and hot, older sister then I'll do whatever I can"

"O-ok, Y/N" Mikasa blushed. "Thank you"

Y/N replied with a pat on Mikasa's head as she looked at Armin and Eren enjoying the moment. Mikasa looked at her older sister and smiled.

Flashback over.

Mikasa snapped out of her thoughts when the Lance Corporal had came up to her with two scouts behind him.

"They'll take Y/N back to the group so don't worry." Levi spoke as he carried Y/N and passed her to the scouts as they left.

"Now, we'll go back and save Eren." Levi said.

"W-where am I?" I asked to myself as I was surrounded my tons of white sand? with the a dark night above. I look around me and saw a glowing like tree. It was indescribable. It was mysyerious and amazing. My eyes looked at the glowing white tree as there was a sillouhete of a tall person. "Who?"

I felt a tap behind me as I stopped walking as I look back and saw the same blonde kid with shaggy clothes on.

"Its you again?!" I exclaimed and pointed a finger on the kid. "Where am I? I died right? And why do I keep seeing you? Why does your face look so stoned like shorty's? Is my butt okay or is it flat?"

My questions were cut when the blonde kid touched my forehead with her pointing finger. The kid still had an emotionless and stoned face

"Huh?" I tiredly asked as I closed my eyes and felt tired as I fell on the sand.

I opened my eyes and felt shaking. I immediately sat up and touched my forehead.

'Bandage?' I asked as I look beside me and saw Eren sleeping with the same bandage like me while a cloak was on him. He was breathing normally.

I recalled my last memories and placed my hand on my mouth.

'Eld. Gunther. Petra. Olou.' I tried not to give out tears 'rest in the afterlife'

"Y/N!" I heard Mikasa as I sat up on the seat on the wagon and saw that my friends were there looking at me with relief and happiness.

"I thought I was dead." I spoke as Mikasa smiled.

"You're lucky that I picked you up from dying from blood loss." I heard the Lance Corporal behind me as I smiled and turned around facing him. He was on his horse while holding Horse's lead.

"Oh yeah.. don't worry heichou. I know you'll donate blood to me because I'm your type." I teasingly gave a wink as Levi looked unimpressed and done with my antics. Some of my friends groaned from my joke and some laughed (mostly Sasha and Connie).

We stopped for a break in the fields as I went down the wagon. I saw all the corpses that died in this operation. I gripped the cloak that was wrapped to me by the Lance Corporal and decided to find my dead squad mates.

I arrived at my covered dead squad mates and tried not to brust in tears. I heard the Lance Corporal went beside me.

"I-i'm sorry. I'm sorry that I didn't do my best to protect my own squad mates. I-" I gripped the cloak tighter around me as tears formed on my eyes. The Lance Corporal shushed me softly and crouch down as he took off the The Wings of Freedom badge from their pockets.

He stood up and looked at all four of them.

"It's not your fault." Levi said as I silently burst out crying while I covered my face with his cloak.

The Lance Corporal looked at me and put my hands away from my face with his cloak and looked at me. He placed a thump on the tip of my tearing eye and softly brushed it away. "You can ride in the wagon. I'll lead Horse with me."

Levi left and went to Commander Erwin as I heard shouting. I saw a scout was shouting at Erwin as Levi backed him up.

'The worst part is that Commander Erwin has a big regret and pain on his back. Some people will blame him for the deaths of many.' I looked at the Commander with sincerity as I saw a bit of stress in his face.

The Commander took notice of someone looking at him and I was immediately caught when he looked at me with a smile and waved.

I shyly waved back as the Commander went away.

'My respect for you, Erwin is more bigger than the deaths people have blamed to you' I thought as I went back to the wagon.

"She's lucky that she survived" I heard some gossiping behind me thanks to my good ears once again.

"I bet she left her own squad to die as she survived with injuries" another one gossiped.

"She's the only one who's alive in the Special Ops that was personally selected by the Lance Corporal." Another gossips.

"Everyone go back to your horses and places. We'll be moving." An higher up informed as I sat beside Eren who's still unconscious.

About a few minutes, the wagon had started to move with the survey corps.

I brushed Eren's hair with my hand gently.

"You did well for today, Eren. I hope you don't blame yourself on what happened." I whispered.

After a few minutes, I saw Mikasa beside us as she looked at Eren.

'Eren, you're damn lucky to have Mikasa on your side. If Mikasa had to choose between you and me. She would probably choose you' I thought.

"Titans!" I heard a shout as I sat on the seats and saw titans who were chasing two scouts in horses.

'At this point, we have to run our way back to the walls. There are no buildings or trees.' I thought as I saw Mikasa slowing her horse as she tried to help the scouts who were held by the titans.

I look farther and saw more titans in coming. My eyes diverted back to the dead bodies.

'At this situation where we can't fight, this is probably the only option' I look at the dead corpses.

I saw shorty talking to the people on the dead bodies on a wagon.

'I bet his thinking this is the only option. If only I can go there.' I thought. 'If only my gear was here'

The titans seemed to be getting close to the two wagons behind.

I grit my teeth and saw the two scouts threw a body. I saw the scout threw a body, it showed the brown hair color and face of Petra as my eyes widened with a tear went down my cheek.

'I'm so.... so sorry' I covered my mouth and sat back next to Eren after looking that the titans didn't follow us anymore.

The Survey Corps took another break to determine where we are.

I once again went off the wagon leaving a still unconcious Eren as I gripped the cloak around me and stared at nowhere.

I heard horse steps coming up to me as someone went off the horse. Levi took my hand and placed something in it.

"We're leaving. Go back in the wagon. You're still injured. Thats Petra's. I saw you two were close." He said as he rode up to his horse and went away.

I opened my palm and saw Petra's Wings of Freedom badge and almost cried. I went back to the wagon and sat again next to Eren and gripped the badge to my heart.

I heard Eren talking and informed Mikasa as she went in the wagon.

"Eren?" I spoke but he was still talking.

"Eren!" Mikasa exclaimed as Eren's eyes opened as he gasped.

"You shouldn't get up yet." Mikasa said. "Take it easy"

"The Female Titan..." Eren spoke as he still didn't acknowledged me beside him

"It got away" Mikasa replied as I stood quiet and see if how long Eren could realize someone is beside him who he thought had died.

"Why? Just what did everyone... and the plan?" Eren asked.

"It failed, sleeping beauty" I spoke as Eren looked shocked to when he heard me as his eyes watered and gripped on me.

"Y-y/N?!! How are you alive?.... I thought you died.... I thought I lost you" Eren cried as he gripped on me as I remember the times where Eren would get lost in the town when he was 5 and cried because he thought he'll never see me.

"Just rest for a bit, Eren" I held Eren's hand that gripped me as I patted his head with my other hand. "We'll reach the walls soon.."

We finally had entered the wall as people gathered in the side.

'Oh fuck.. The aura of this event is downright negative and sad' I thought as I slowed down Horse. Even though Levi didn't want me to ride Horse since I'm injured, I still rode him.

"Aren't there a few of them than in the morning?" I heard a gossip somewhere.

"They've lost quite a few" another replied.

"Yeh another disaster"

'That's a war for yah, townspeople' I thought.

"They made a real racket when they left in the morning, but they're back already. What'd they go for?"

'For research!. I just quoted Hange-san right there' I thought as I was behind Levi who was walking while leading his horse and mine since I was still injured, he said.

'Everyone looks so glum, it's more glum than Levi's face when he thought I was dead'

"Lance Corporal Levi!" An old man passed through me and went up beside Levi as my eyebrows went up suddenly remembering this guy.

Flashback.

"Hey Petra. Who's this?" I asked as I took a photo of a man with Petra on her cabinet.

"Oh it's my father" Petra said with a smile.

"Ok" I replied as I placed back the picture to where it belonged.

Flashback over.

'Oh shit!" I mentally cursed as a pang of guilt went up to me.

"My daughter is in your squad" Petra's father spoke as he looked a bit worried. "I'm Petra's father. I have something to tell you before my daughter sees me."

Petra's father took put a envelope. I took out Petra's badge from my pocket and gripped it as I knew I have to give this to her father.

"She sent me a letter, you see. Saying her skills were recognized and she was to work under you and that she intended to devote herself to you" Petra's father said as I almost choked on air. "Well, I guess she's too happy about it all to consider how I feel"

Petra's father chuckled with a tint of nervousness as Levi still looked infront.

"But you see, as her father..... I think it's too early for her to get marriage" I took a glance at Levi's face as it contained many mixed feelings. "She's still young and has her whole life ahead of her."

I sat off Horse and chased Petra's father who had gotten the news from Levi.

"Excuse me sir. My name is Y/N Yeager, a good friend of Petra. I'm sorry for not protecting your daughter." I said and gave him Petra's badge. "Its Petra's badge. Its best if you keep it."

Petra's father cried as I stood there bearing a heavy guilt and left going up to Levi as I walked beside him.

I clenched my fists as I heard the townspeople blaming Erwin.

Out of the ordinary, I felt Levi's hand on my wrist trying to tell me to calm down.

"Bring me tea in my office later." Levi whispered in my ear as he took off his hand from my wrist and went away to go to Commander Erwin leaving me with Horse.
