Lucy was trudging through the store with Donna, each of them searching for their prom dress.

"Do blue, you always look good in blue," Lucy suggested as they raked through the dress racks.

"You could do red, it always makes you look great," Donna nodded.

They each pulled out a dress, feeling accomplished, their faces beaming at finally finding a dress after hours of shopping.

"So who are you going with to prom?" Donna asked as they were in the dressing rooms.

"Um, I don't know actually, I was fine with going alone. You wouldn't believe who asked me though!" Lucy said smoothing out her dress in front of the mirror.

"Who?" Donna asked intrigued.

"Zachary freaking Curtis!" Lucy said.

"No way!" Donna gasped as she stood to look over the divider, "Oh that's a new bra."

Lucy hummed in response, "So obviously, I said he could take the prom ticket and shove it where the sun doesn't shine."

"Good for you," Donna nodded.

"But I don't know, I'll probably end up going with one of the guys. I think Jackie wants me to go with Kelso that way she knows nothing will happen," Lucy shrugged the dress off and pulled her shirt back on.

"I still can't believe she broke up with him!"

"You can't? I can. But we all know they'll get back together," Lucy and Donna stepped out of their dressing rooms.

"You think Hyde is going to prom?" Donna asked.

"I think he'd sooner stop Circle Time," Lucy smiled as she took the dress back from the cashier. "So never."

The girls got back to the Forman's house and went to the basement, making themselves comfortable on the couch. Eric still wasn't back from getting his tux fitted.

"So, Hyde who are you taking to prom?" Donna asked, sitting down on the couch.

Hyde laughed sarcastically, "Oh that's funny you think I'm going to the prom."

Lucy looked to Donna as if to say "I told you so."

"Well that's too bad, because Lucy doesn't have a date," Donna said very quickly before darting out the basement door to run for her house.

Lucy smiled awkwardly at Fez and Hyde. The three sat in silence for a moment, Lucy tapping her hands on her knees, "I'm just gonna—" she slowly walked to the door.

"Oh! I will take you to the prom!" Fez raised his hand as Lucy opened the door.

"Sounds perfect," Lucy nodded as she darted up the stairs to go kill Donna.

At Donna's house, the girls were showing off their clothes for prom at Jackie's request.

"These are the shoes I'm going to wear to the prom, aren't they cool?" Donna asked excitedly.

"Oh my gosh! I was going to get new shoes, but Michael didn't ask me," Jackie moped, as she petted the black heels Lucy was holding.

"And you like my prom dress right?" Donna asked.

"Oh my gosh I was going to get a new prom dress except—"

"Michael didn't ask you," Lucy finished.

"I'm so nervous about the prom, I think it might be the night Eric and I, you know," Donna nodded.

Lucy grimaced.

"Oh my gosh that's when Michael and I were going to do it for the first time!" Jackie squealed.

Donna and Lucy both furrowed their eyebrows, "Jackie, you and Kelso did it like two months ago," Donna said.

"And thirty times after that, I remember because you insisted on telling me in excruciating detail," Lucy shuddered.

"Yeah but it would've been our first time at a prom! But Michael didn't ask me!" Jackie whined.

"Jackie you broke up with him!" Donna reminded.

"I know isn't it said!" Jackie said as she sat at the kitchen table, the two other girls sitting beside her.

"This is the '70s, just ask him to go with you," Lucy shrugged.

"Yeah, I mean it's Kelso, he wouldn't say no," Donna agreed.

"God no, this is the prom. This is no time for your guys' stupid feminist crap," Jackie said revolted.

Lucy looked at Jackie for a moment, biting her tongue.

Just then Eric and Kelso opened the door.

"Hello Michael," Jackie said calmly.

"Hello Jackie."

"I'm just over here helping Donna and Lucy get ready for the prom. Because Donna and Eric are going to the prom and Lucy and..." Jackie looked at Lucy confused, unsure of who she was going with.

"Fez," Lucy piped up, feeling incredibly awkward around the broken up couple.

"Yes," Eric looked to Kelso and nodded awkwardly.

"I'm going to the prom! I'm taking Pam Macy!" Kelso announced.

"Oh the thing!" Eric whispered, pushing Donna out of the kitchen as Lucy darted for the kitchen door to go back to her house.

Lucy and Fez walked into the prom, Fez wearing a baby blue tux. She was actually extremely glad to be going with Fez, because going alone when her own scrawny twin had a date would be mortifying.

Plus Fez could dance, so she was definitely enjoying herself.

Kelso came up to Lucy and Fez, showing off his date.

"Guys this is Pam, Pam this is Lucy and Fez!" Kelso introduced the three.

"Well hello Pam Macy," Fez said, taking her hand and giving it a kiss.

"Yes I remember Pam, Kelso." Lucy gritted her teeth.

"Yeah, Linda right?" Pam asked dumbly.

"Lucy," she forced a smile and then Donna and Eric came up.

Pam went off to go get a drink.

"That's who you chose to bring?" Eric asked confused.

"Hey I love her!" Kelso yelled.

"No you don't," the four said in unison.

"Okay, no I don't, but Jackie is going to get really jealous," he said as they all sat down at a table.

"That's the spirit," Lucy said, taking a sip of her punch.

"Hey do you know who's Jackie's date is? She said he's better than me in every conceivable way, but I couldn't figure out who." Kelso looked around the room for where Jackie and her date could be.

Donna and Lucy exchanged a look, knowing she didn't have a date, and shrugged.

"Hey guys!" Jackie called, walking into the gym.

They all turned around to se Jackie with Hyde. Kelso was about to yell before Pam came back over and she pulled him to the dancefloor.

"And you said you hated the prom," Donna teased.

Hyde just shrugged as Jackie rambled on about how sweet Steven was being getting her a corsage. It was nice to see them not bickering for once like they usually did, it gave Lucy a headache.

"So first prom, now what are you going to do? Get a job? Bring your grades up?" Lucy taunted.

"Yeah shut up," Hyde laughed.

Jackie dragged him to take photos. Donna and Eric took photos before leaving the gym, most likely to retreat to a motel. Kelso and Pam Macy took photos, mostly of Kelso looking down her dress. Fez and Lucy took one with ridiculous poses and making faces.

The night went on and Lucy could barely keep up with how much Fez wanted to dance. She could see across the gym, Jackie looking at Kelso dancing with Pam Macy, who was looking right back at her dancing with Hyde. The two turned around and Hyde had tried to insult Pam Macy, even though it was impossible, she looked great in that dress. He looked over to Lucy dancing with Fez and winked causing Lucy to just roll her eyes and wave sarcastically.

Jackie sat down and Hyde went to go talk sense into Kelso. Lucy pulled Fez over so she could talk to Jackie.

"You miss him and he misses you, watching you two gaze longingly across the room is making me sick," Lucy said kindly.

Jackie sighed and they watched as Kelso talked to Hyde.

Hyde went to go sit by Pam Macy, Lucy furrowed her eyebrows, not sure what he was doing. Then Kelso walked over to Jackie; Lucy and Fez gave them their space and she saw Hyde walk out of the gym with Pam, then it seemed to make sense, they switched dates.

At the end of the night, everyone was back in the basement—well everyone except Kelso and Jackie.

"So the lovebirds are back together?" Donna asked, they all sat on the couch.

"Seems so, but they'll probably break up in a week," Lucy nodded.

"Maybe a couple of days," Fez suggested.

"So no motel, Forman?" Hyde asked.

"No, not tonight," Eric replied, looking at Donna.

"So, how was Pam?" Fez asked suggestively.

"A gentleman never tells," Hyde smirked.

"That's why he asked you," Lucy sneered.

Hyde rolled his eyes, "Hey, if I wasn't such a gentleman a lot of other secrets would've been spilled by now," he smirked leaning on the back two legs of his chair while Lucy glared at him.

"What?" Eric asked.

"Nothing," Lucy said, hating Hyde as he shrugged casually. "He's just being an asswipe," she got up from the couch and made her way upstairs, kicking the last two legs of his chair, causing him to topple.

Lucy was in her pjs and hanging up her dress when she heard her window start to open; she darted across her room, trying to shut it, but Hyde managed to force it open.

"You should keep that locked, people you don't like could come in," Hyde said.

"Too late," Lucy huffed as she sat on her bed.

"Ah come on LSD, don't be mad," Hyde said sitting down next to her.

She jumped up from her spot, "Don't be mad? First of all, you know I hate Pam Macy! But you went and you slept with her—"

"You're jealous?" Hyde looked at her confused with a light of mischief in his eyes.

"That's rich!" Lucy scoffed. "And you interrupted me, you almost just told everyone!"

"The key word there is almost, I didn't tell, but let's go back to how you're jealous of Pam Macy," Hyde smirked.

"I am not! It's been four months! Stop holding it over my head!" Lucy whispered, not wanting to draw attention.

"But where's the fun in that?" Hyde asked as he stood up, stepping closer to Lucy, "Besides, there was no win for me in the deal. So teasing you with it is the best I have."

Lucy stood against the wall, her arms crossed in front of her, "Your win was being able to kiss me, that's enough."

Hyde stepped closer still, "But watching you get all worked up over it is too good to pass up."

"You're self absorbed, pathetic, sarcastic, rude—" she whispered angrily.

"You're cute when you're angry," Hyde said demeaningly, knowing it would upset her further.

She actually was very cute when she was angry; she would scrunch her nose, and give you a look that she couldn't believe anyone could be so stupid, and bite her lip to avoid yelling. It was one of the first things Steven Hyde noticed about her; obviously it was kind of hard to miss considering how often she was angry with him when they were younger.

She shoved him away and towards the window, "Good night Steven!" she said, her tone leaving no room for argument.

She slammed the window shut, locking it before he could open it again. They flipped eachother off simultaneously before he jumped down from the tree.

Lucy turned to fall onto her bed, distraught over whether or not Hyde would tell everyone that they had kissed.
