It was as if time stood still, neither one of them wanting to leave.
I watched from a distance.
The way she looked at him, and the way he looked at her, then they said their final goodbye.
I watched her leave and him go the other way, but then I saw her turn around to look back at him, but he didn't look back.
She left a piece of her heart in that goodbye, and he took it with him.
