《Ballerina Boy》19

The next day I walked into my fifth period class nervously.
I was going to ask Harry to lunch today.
I was actually going to take Lottie's advise.
"Hey Louis." Niall smiled happily at me as I sat down next to him.
"Hey Niall." I said smiling back at him.
"So what's up?" Niall then asked. "You excited for Christmas break next week?"
"Hell yeah." I nodded. "I'll be eighteen on Christmas Eve."
"For real?" Niall asked.
"Yes so that means Lottie too."
"Shit I need to go shopping for you guys then."
"Oh you don't have to get me anything." I said shaking my head.
"No Louis." he said as he whined. "I want to get you something."
"Niall it's cool. I don't want a gift."
Just as I said that Harry walked into the classroom.
"Is Harry not talking to you still?" Niall whispered.
"Yea, but I'm gonna try today." I whispered back and then Harry sat down next to me.
Niall nodded and then turned to the front.
I glanced over at Harry and saw that he was taking his books out.
I then took a dip breath.
"Hi Harry." I whispered over to him.
Harry glanced up at me but didn't say anything.
He then got back to what he was doing.
"You're not going to say hi back?" I then asked.
"Hi Louis." he answered.
I smiled.
"Can we talk today?" I then asked.
"And what's there to talk about?" Harry asked looking over to me.
"Harry." I said looking at him with a "really" expression. "There's a lot."
"Well what if I don't want to talk?" he then asked.
"Well Harry I really want to talk and there is plenty for you to hear."

I saw Harry start to think it over a lot.
I sat there for a few minutes waiting to hear his answer.
"Alright." he finally then said to me.
"Really?" I asked.
"Yeah." he nodded. "When do you want to talk?"
"Lunch?"
"Where do you want me to meet you?" he then asked.
"Under the bleachers."
"What?" Harry asked.
"Let's talk under the bleachers. It's more private."
"Alright?" Harry said in a questioning way as his eyebrows knit together.
I then faced the front because it was time to start class.
I tried to get through this class before lunch which, I ended up getting through alright.
After those classes I headed to the gym and made my way under the bleachers.
I sat there and waited for a few minutes.
Harry then came and sat across from me.
"This is so weird." he said looking around us.
"I know. But it's private." I said back to him.
Harry then looked towards me.
"So what's up Louis. What do you have to say to me?"
"This is about what happened two weeks ago."
"What's that?"
"When you had your freak out."
"I don't remember that Louis." Harry said shaking his head.
"How come?" I asked.
"I remember being sad and it had something to do with you but I shot up something into my system and I forgot what happened."
"Harry don't do drugs. It's going to ruin your football career. Same with drinking."
"Louis don't tell me what not to do. It helps me with my sadness."
"Well it's going to ruin your life."
"Okay how about we stop talking about me doing drugs. Get on with what you wanted to say to me."

"Okay well you got upset because I asked you about our kiss."
"Well like I said before I was drunk and drugged. I'm straight okay Louis? I'm tired of talking about this. It's pointless."
"Okay well I agree. But I don't want to go back to the bantering that's been going on for two now almost three months."
"What do you mean?" he asked with a confused look on his face.
"Can we just be friends Harry? I don't want to fight with you anymore. I'm still your dance teacher and I sit next to you two classes in a row. Plus the team is always inviting me to go places with them. I want us to be friends."
"Louis I don't know." he sighed and looked down to the ground.
"Harry please?" I asked. "I want us to be friends."
"I actually want to agree." he said and looked up. "But certain people won't like it."
"Like who?"
"No one of your concern right now, alright?"
"Well forget about them. Be my friend. I'm a great friend." I said and smiled wide.
Harry chuckled and shook his head.
"Alright Louis. I'll be your friend then. Just don't expect me to talk to you a lot at school alright?"
"Fine." I sighed. "At least I know you don't hate me."
"Yeah." Harry said and then stood up. "But I got to go. See you later at ballet."
"Alright." I waved.
I smiled happily and then made my way to my next class once the bell rung.
Today was good.
