《Ballet》Pointe shoes and the airport?

Over the summer I did a lot of ballet. However, one of the girls from my studio got to go to Texas and dance at a summer intensive there. When she came back, she told us a funny story. Now you see, Chloe breaks pointe shoes in quickly. Everyone at Capizio's knows her really well. So when she went to Texas she had to bring about five or six pairs of pointe shoes with her. When she was in the airport heading home however, she came across an issue. For those of you who are not familiar with the pointe shoe, there are typically two tiny nails to keep the shank and rest of the pointe shoe together. So, guess what happened? Her pointe shoes made the metal detector go off and the airport security had to examine each and every single pointe shoe. That's at least ten pointe shoes to examine. I mean, yes ballet dancers are hardcore and tough as nails, but I'm pretty sure we wouldn't put a bomb or weapon in our pointe shoes. Especially a bomb, I mean that would be a waste of a completely good pair of pointe shoes!! Anyways, as always, have a great day and just keep dancing! ~Mia

--Follow a bandit prone to making poor choices in life. He lives in a somewhat medieval age where steel is king, blood is shed fairly lightly, and weakness gets you punished fast. But that's okay. As long as he has his sword, he'll be fine. Right? --This story is tragic and contains some depictions of violence and nudity. The attitudes of the characters don't represent my views and some of them are highly questionable. Due to these reasons, I've flagged the story as adult content. --I've been working on Live by the Sword since as far back as 2012 and it is my first actual effort at completing a book. And using modern for us and futuristic for the Middle Ages, small arms are engaged in protecting the secrets of the church and persecuting a group calling themselves apostates, who want to reveal all the cards that will drive the world into a new branch of chaos and the fight against the regime. As cover, his order sided with minor rulers to fight the old-fashioned way and maintain the balance of power. More and more secrets are revealed to Marzio, and a serious intriguing game unfolds behind him, into which he is sucked in with more and more force. But the hero is the hero, in order to grow and cope with the twists and turns of fate, he stoically withstands all trials and even not knowing about the threats from the east and another continent continues to go forward to meet his fate, for the sake of freedom, revenge and struggle.
