So, never have I ever done a demo until a couple of days ago. It was a ton of fun and I really got to know a lot of the girls better. It was so cool and I was exhausted afterwards.

One of the things that I was worried about the most however, was that we had five minutes to get our pointe shoes on and warm up.

You see, we had a dance on flat and then the level above us had a dance on flat and during the other level's dance we had to rush and get our pointe shoes on. What we did was that we 'prep' our pointe shoes so that all we have to do is slip them on and tie the ribbons, which in itself does still take a while. I am very happy to report that we all got our pointe shoes on and we warmed up enough. All in all, our pointe dance went pretty well.
