《Ballet》Dancing while sick

So, I am currently sick and I had ballet class today. I blame one of my younger brothers who caught it from the little squirts at church. I have not danced while sick in a while and let me just say, I forgot how miserable it is.
As we stretched, I was desperately trying not to fall asleep.
While dancing, my head was congested and my nose was stuffed up. I was miserable. Still, ballet is about smiling and dancing through the pain. So, even though I wasn't feeling good, I danced to the best of my abilities. I also kept having to keep myself awake.
I also may or may not have fallen asleep in the car ride home. Then, I kind of went home and took a three hour nap.
There where points in class when I kind of wished that I had stayed home. Still, I'm a tough girl and I love ballet. Even as I am sitting here on the couch watching hockey, I am still trying not to fall asleep. Well, I better go, I think I'm actually going to go straight to bed.

If you find the words "Show don't tell," comforting accept that unfortunately, I'm not at that stage of the writing process yet. 3) At one point this story was called "Standard Reincarnation Story," and I had written an extremely off-putting description of the story. This was mostly to keep out people who would just read the silly first few chapters then rage quit as soon as the violent stuff got started. Since I just had my first .5 star rating (without a page read count increase) that technique is not working, so I might as well treat this as a regular fiction and try to get regular readers.
