"SHE WHAT?!" Jake exclaimed, his breathing getting increasingly heavier.

"Detective Diaz will be going on an undercover mission involving the Spanish Mafia. She was notified of the situation 11 days ago so any information she has is also new to her so try not to go all manic on the poor woman," Holt repeated to the squad sat before him.

"Sir, how long will Rosa be gone for?" Amy asked raising her hand like a pre schooler.

"That is Detective Diaz's choice to share. I can tell you this won't be a quick in and out undercover though."

"Is she at risk of anything?" Jake asked. He was started to get worried. His time in the mafia was quite lame but he knew if it was Rosa, she would be going into something more serious.

"Yes Jacob. Rosa could be held on the edge of death but I need you all not to worry about that. We need to be there for Rosa and make her final days with us as warming as possible."

"DEATH?!" Charles shouted from the back of the room.

"Terry hates death!" The lut hugged his file a little tighter.

"Detective Diaz is strong and we all know she wouldn't do anything utterly stupid," The Captain averted his gaze to detective Peralta.

"Oh come on! I'm not that bad!" He whined. The squad winced and nodded sympathetically.

"Anyway, Rosa will be coming in later and it will be her last time here for awhile. Please do not baby her but also make her feel loved. We are all going to miss her and she deserves the love I know you can all give."

"We can do this!," terry chirped. "NINE-NINE!"

"NINE-NINE!!" The rest of the squad cheered in unison. Everyone was ready. Well, nearly everyone.

One certain red head was sat in the corner of the room try to bite back her sobs. The woman she had finally excepted she loved, was leaving. This wasn't fair. She needed time. Gina needed time to at least make it right with Rosa. Two days wasn't enough time.

The rest of the squad finally started to file out and soon enough the Captain's assistant was alone in the briefing room. She finally let go and buried her head in her hands. As she cried harder, Gina gripped the edge of the table trying to keep herself up right. Heart ache was something Gina had never experienced this deeply before and she wasn't enjoying it too well so far.

"Dude you are so lucky! You got such a badass assignment," Jake exclaimed lifting his mug off the coffee machine and going to sit down at the table. Everyone but: Hitchcock, Scully, and Holt, were scattered around the break room. Amy, Jake and Rosa sat around the circular table in the middle of the room. Terry was stood next to the door eating a yogurt and Charles was perched on the pool table drinking a coffee that definitely had way too much sugar in it. Just behind Rosa, lay on the sofa, was Gina. Wolfie draped over her and phone in hand. She desperately didn't want to be there but even with their situation she knew Holt wanted her there. She had been silent and hadn't looked up from the screen in over an hour.

"I know but part of me doesn't want to go," Rosa sighed sipping her steaming herbal tea.

"Are you kidding?! It's going to be amazing Ro," Amy's eyes widened. "I'd kill to go on it but i'm apparently too soft!" The two women laughed and everyone else stared at them.

"Dios te bendiga, solo pasa por la mierda y aprende a hacerte una identidad falsa !" Rosa spoke in Spanish and Amy soon caught the gist. (Aw bless you, you just need to go through shit and learn to make a false identity.)

"deberíamos hacer esto más. podemos tener conversaciones privadas," Amy replied. (We should do this more often. We can have private conversations.)

"tal vez no cuando estoy aquí, sí?" Gina spoke up. (Just maybe not when I'm here, yeah?) Nobody had noticed the tears running down her cheeks until she was stood and looking at them all. Terry, Jake and Charles had no idea what the hell was going on and Non of them knew Gina could speak Spanish. Even Rosa had seemed to have forgotten that detail.

"Gina are you okay?" Terry asked and she looked over at him. She stared at him before looking around the room. Gina briefly met Rosa's gaze and before anyone could say anything she ran out of the room, letting out a sob as she went.

"Should we see if she's okay?" Jake asked turning back to look at his wife.

"She will be fine," Rosa brushed it off. "Right where we were we?"

"But-" Jake started.

"Peralta shut up! I'm not in the mood!" Rosa quipped. The two had barely spoken and whenever they did one of them always seemed to get snappy.

"Sorry." He looked down. Amy rubbed his arm sympathetically.

"I'm sorry I'm just so stressed. They have said I could be gone for five years," Rosa sighed running her hands into her hair.

"FIVE YEARS!" Charles shouted and quickly slapped his hand over his mouth.

"Yes. I don't want to be gone that long but I have to get all fifteen dealers in the same place at one time without making it seem suspicious."

"Who is the main dealer, if there is one?" Jake asked. The worry in his eyes was most definitely there.

"Lolita Ramos, she's the leader and is very hard to get to. I have a feeling I'm going to have to do some things that are gonna mess me up."

""You can do it. We can help you when you come home. I promise it will be okay Rosa," Amy reached and grabbed her hand. "You will be okay."

"Thanks Ames."

Meanwhile, Babylon being filled with screams of pure emotional hurt. Gina knew it was too late and she had blown any chance she had with Rosa, but that didn't stop it from hurting. It made it worse. The civilian administrator clutched the edge of the sink and wailed. Her eyes were slowly getting bigger and the gap in her throat was getting smaller. The red head hated being vulnerable but in some situations she just couldn't help it. No matter how hard she tried she couldn't stop crying, stay quiet. Her makeup was running off her cheeks and forming orange and black tear stains on her shirt.

After awhile Gina backed up and let herself fall onto the sofa. Her sobs got gradually softer before she had soon cried herself to sleep. Sleep was the best pain relief she could think of other than Rosa. Being hers again. For real this time. Kissing her, indulging in the taste of the sweet strawberry lip balm she wore everyday without fail. Holding her and not giving a care in the world. But a last, Rosa wanted nothing to do with her and was leaving home in less than 48 hours. For now she just needed to sleep her troubles away.
