《ballet sod》The DVD🩰

Rosa kind of just sat there. She just spent the whole day looking after The Enigma Linetti and had seen Gina for the first time in nearly a year. This wasn't right. Everything was going okay. She was doing okay. It wasn't fair. The feelings she had worked so damn hard to overcome came flooding back with just one look.

"ughhhhhhnn" She groaned throwing herself backwards onto the sofa. Rosa hated this, really hated this. Deep down she knew full well she was still head over heals for Gina. She knew she always would be but for the past year Rosa had done her best to move on, and for what? It didn't matter now anyway.

She had two options here, sit and cry about Gina just like old times or try and cheer herself up by watching a movie. Rosa got up and went over to her TV stand. She could just watch something on Netflix but what's the fun in that? The detective rummaged through a draw full of old movie DVDs until she came across she liked. The case was right at the very back so was a little dusty which made Rosa sneeze. ✨dUsT pArtIcLeS. ✨

She got herself prepared and treated herself to a cup of hot chocolate. After a while, Rosa was curled up under a blanket on the sofa, mug in hand ready to go. She hit play on the remote and sunk back into the sofa, sighing. She already felt better.

That feeling was short lived.

It didn't take her long to realise what was playing on the screen in font of her wasn't the movie she had chosen. No, it was her. It was Rosa, close up to the camera with the most confused expression imaginable on her face. She kept saying, "is this on? god I'm bad with this," until she eventually said "oh yes it is oopies," and stepped back from the camera. Gina was stood behind her smiling.

-"Ok so every 6 months we are going to record one of these. They are progress updates for Re's dancing,"-

Rosa remembered what this was. She was half tempted to switch it off but she didn't. She just carried on watching.

The way moved was so perfect. So fluent. So graceful. Gina had only been dancing for 6 months at this point but already was getting to the stage where she could perform. Rosa had moved out of shot on screen and the image playing was just of the angelic woman dancing her heart out.

Watching this hurt. Rosa was happy, she was finally happy with where she was but deep down she still loved Gina. No matter how much she hated her guts, she loved every part of her. Every part of Rosa longed to have every part of Gina again. To wake up next her, to feel arms wrap around her waist as she was cooking, to turn around and see the red head smirking up at her. Rosa wanted to watch one more movie with Gina, read one last book, share one last kiss, but a last, Rosa had Jocelyn and Gina had Milton. The ravenette focused back on the screen rather than her spiralling thoughts as she heard the music stop and a high pitch squeal she recognised as her own.

-" REGINA YOU DID SO GOOD!!!" Rosa ran in and grabbed the smaller woman. "YOU DID SO GOOD!" She repeated before pulling her into a sweeping kiss. A deep, urgent kiss. Gina's hands explored the curves in the sides of Rosa's body, finally landing and grasping her hips as Rosa's hands ran though the mess off auburn on Gina's head. When they pulled away Rosa smiled. "By this rate you will be taking over me!"

"Oh I could never. I'm amazing but I will never beat you," Gina smiled back at her before pushing Rosa onto the sofa behind them.

"Hey what was that for?!" Rosa said almost laughing while moving the perfect curls that were now sprawled out over her face.

"I felt like it," Gina grinned climbing on top of Rosa. "Thank you."

"For what?"

"Everything. Teaching me how to dance, giving me a home, helping me be happy, loving me."

"I will always be with you no matter what," Rosa said as Gina buried her head into her chest.

"You promise?"

"I promise baby, nothing can ever change the way I feel about you."-

A tear rolled down Rosa's tan cheek as she watched the two women on screen sit silently holding each other. Rosa never broke that promise. She still loved Gina with her whole heart and always would.
