The car ride was long and silent. Rosa had got up early to go to the studio but Gina insisted on giving her a lift in.

"Have a good time," Gina looked over as the other woman unbuckled her seatbelt.

"Mmmm," Rosa murmured as she got out of the car and shut the door. Gina sighed as she watched Rosa sluggishly walk towards the building. She was fighting every urge not to go in and practice herself. She missed it, a lot.

Rosa walked in a plonked her bag down on the floor. She went over to her normal stretching spot in the corner with her closest friends and sat down. Everyone was already here and stretching so she just joined in straight away.

When she sat down, Rosa looked up slightly and Olivia was already staring at her. Rosa immediately felt uncomfortable and looked back at the floor.

"Hey Rosa!" Jenny said lifting her arm over her head.

"Hey Jen, how are you?"

"I'm alright, killer head ache though!" Jenny sighed.

"I'm sorry," Rosa looked at her.

"Aww babes don't worry about me! You seem down what's up?"

"Jenny just shut up," Rosa looked up to see who that was. It was Liv.

"It's ok Liv don't worry, I'm fine Jen," Rosa smiled. Liv rolled her eyes and grabbed her foot stretching her whole body.

After the 6 hours of rehearsals Miss Miriam finally allowed everyone to leave. They had a pretty big show coming up and everyone had been working tirelessly. When Rosa went into the main hall she spotted her bestfriend sat putting her shoes on, on the bench.

"Hey what's wrong with you today?" Rosa asked sitting down.

"What?" Liv looked over at her.

"You have been in a right mood!"

"Have not!"

"Yes you have!" Rosa was being insistent. "What's wrong?"

"You scared me last night Ro," Liv looked back down.

"I- I'm sorry, I can't control it. It just happens," Rosa said her voice was a little wobbly.

"Why though? And why does only Gina know how to handle it?"

"Look," She reached out and grabbed Liv's hand. "About 2 years ago I was involved in something at work and I was seconds away from death. I had a gun to my head and they guy clocked it. I've been left traumatised ever since and only Gina knows because I can't sleep. I told her and that's why she moved it, because I slept better when she was there. When you left all the talk of her caused a panic attack. I'm fine, i promise!"

Olivia's jaw dropped.

"WHY DIDNT YOU TELL ME ABOUT THE GUN THING?!"

"Shushhhhh," Rosa slapped her hand over Liv's mouth.

"Why didn't you tell me about the gun thing?" She whispered this time.

"Because I didn't need you worrying when I'm ok," Rosa smiled.

"Well clearly not!" Liv's eyes widened.

"Oh ffs I'm fine! I've not had an attack like that in over a year, it's rare."

"Ok but you need to promise me you will call me if you ever need help, or even just a hug!"

"You don't nee-"

"ROSA!"

"I promise."

"Thank you! I've got to go, need a ride?" Liv stood up.

"No thanks I'll get an Uber," Rosa stood up.

"You sure?"

"Yep," Rosa smiled.

"Alright I'll see you Saturday!" Liv said. "Love you," she blew a kiss and walked out.

"Love you too!" Rosa shouted.

There were no ubers available so her only option was to cab share with some randomer in Brooklyn. What could possibly go wrong?

Apparently nothing..

When she got in, Rosa froze. God damn she was gorgeous. A woman with short, light brown hair was sat in the other seat.

"Hey, I'm Jocelyn," The woman said smiling and putting her hand out.

"Rosa, nice to meet you," Rosa shook her hand.

"What a beautiful name!"

"Thank you," She blushed. Rosa hadn't blushed since she told Jake she loved Gina.

For the whole ride, the two just kept looking over at each other and smiling nervously.

"It was lovely meeting you Rosa," Jocelyn said undoing her seatbelt.

"You too," Rosa smiled. Just as Jocelyn was about to shut the door she put her head back in the car.

"Would you like to come in for a drink?" She asked.

"Urm uhhh," Rosa got nervous. Was she being asked out by this stunning human? "Yes that would be nice."

"Amazing!" Rosa paid the driver and got out herself. This could be a good distraction from Gina.

It had only been about 2 hours when Rosa and Jocelyn were sat in the living room making out.

"How the hell did I end up in a cab with someone this beautiful?!" Jocelyn smirked pulling out of the kiss. Rosa was straddling her. Her curls falling into Jocelyn's face.

"I guess you just got lucky," Rosa giggled and tucked her hair behind her ear.

"Damn right I did," Jocelyn stroked Rosa's cheek. A tear ran from Rosa's eye.

"Hey what's wrong?" Jo asked worriedly. Rosa climbed out of the woman's lap and sat next to her.

"It's a long story," Rosa sniffed.

"We have all night. I live alone and have no where to be tomorrow," Rosa laughed.

"Ok, It all started about 10 months ago when I lost a stupid game at work..."

"... and then I just got out the car this morning and didn't say a word." Rosa sighed finally finishing her story.

"Gee, that was eventful!" Rosa nodded. "Look, I know we literally just met like 3 hours ago but just know that I'm always here if you need anything."

"Thanks Jocelyn," Rosa wiped her eyes. "Thank you for being such a good listener."

"No problem," Jocelyn smiled and put her hand on Rosa's leg. "You look exhausted, want to stay the night?" Rosa nodded again.

"I'll sleep on the sofa and you can crash in my bed, is that ok?"

"You sure?" Rosa asked.

"Yes! I'll go set it up." Jocelyn set her drink down and got up.

"Thank you."

That night Rosa lay awake. Staring at the walls. Just thinking. Thinking of Gina. All night.
