Just as Rosa was leaving, when a car pulled up to the side of the road which Gina jumped out of. Milton was driving her back to collect her things. She had waited a few hours in hope Rosa was gone. Unfortunately, she was a few minutes to early.
When Gina looked up and saw Rosa, she jumped. The other woman's eyes were bloodshot and her hair was an absolute mess.
"Oh hey," Gina said awkwardly. Rosa didn't say anything. She just carried on walking down the road like Gina wasn't there.
"So what you are ignoring me now?" Gina raised her voice a little so should could heard. No response. "ROSA!"
"WHAT LINETTI?!" Rosa turned around and shouted from halfway down the street. Gina started walking closer.
"You can't just ignore me forever you know."
"Oh and you expect me to just be like 'oh Gina hows life going for you?' When you just completely ripped my heart out!? ITS NOT HAPPENING!!"
"At least a hi," Gina tried to be calm.
"Not sure you even deserve that if I'm honest," Rosa growled getting closer.
"You know what no! I'm not gonna let you treat me like that," Gina was in normal speaking distance of Rosa now. "When Jake asked me to this he explained it that you were doing the exact same thing to me."
"It's Peralta, what's the catch here?" Rosa asked.
"He said you would fall in love with me trying to make me fall for you. So I had break your heart once that happened," Gina looked down.
"AND HOW IS THAT ANY EFFING BETTER GINA?!" Rosa was furious. "I went in there and told Jake I wasn't leaving you because I cared for you too much, I love you too much. And you do this, PATHETIC."

"Rosa I don't love you like that and you've got to understand that. You are my bestfriend, nothing less but also nothing more."
"Well I guess you have just lost your bestfriend then. All the nights we spent together,
All the laughs
All the nights you lay next to me and told me you would be there forever. You would never leave me.
YOU ARE A LIAR LINETTI! YOURE NASTY!" Rosa was scream- sobbing.
That's when the car door opened and Milton got out. He began to walk down the road.
"OH AND YOU CAN STAY RIGHT WHERE YOU ARE. DONT COME NEAR ME MILTON, ACTUALLY YOU KNOW WHAT. BOTH OF YOU STAY AWAY FROM ME!" Rosa turned around and started speed walking in the opposite direction.
"ROSA WAIT!!" Gina called, but Rosa had turned the corner and was gone.
Gina started to cry. Milton walked over and grabbed her.
"Come on let's get you home," He soothed her.
"I don't have a home. I live with Rosa and that's where all my stuff is." Gina whimpered into his chest.
"I'll call Jake and Amy tomorrow and get one of them to collect your things from Rosa's tomorrow, for now you can stay with me. Sound good?" He asked. She nodded and they headed back to the car.
It was around 2:30 in the morning, when the door bell to Milton's apartment went. Gina being the light sleeper she was got up straight away and went to answer it. Who the hell was at the door at 2:39 in the morning?
Apparently no one. When she opened the door nothing was there except a pile of boxes, bags and a note.
*****
Here's your stuff. I cant bare to see you come and de-Gina the house so I did it myself.
Just know you have broken my heart and I need space. Please respect that.

Gina stroked her finger over a tiny patch of the paper that was a bit more crinkled than the rest. It had been wet and re dried. In the shape the patch was in, Gina could only assume it was a tear. Rosa's tear. Her heart sunk.
