"What do you mean 'it's over'?" Jake asked confused. He was sat with his feet up on a desk in the briefing room, while Rosa was leaning against Holt's podium.

"I told her I love her and she said it back, it's over. I'm done with this crap," Rosa folded her arms.

"So when are you going to end it then?" Jake asked stretching.

"I'm not."

"What?" Jake sat up and clocked an eyebrow.

"I'm not ending it, I don't want to," Rosa looked down.

"Rosa have you fallen in love," Jake smiled, his plan was working!

"Maybe... anyway I don't want to talk about that. But I'm not ending it no matter what you say," Rosa looked up and gave him a look as if to say *don't even try and fight me on this one*.

"Well I guess I just wanted to see Gina fall in love, I got that so ye, don't end it I don't care. I'm happy for you Diaz," Jake stood up.

"Thanks man," Rosa smiled.

"Gosh Diaz calm down, love is making you soft," For a moment Rosa forgot where she was. Then reality came crashing back down on her. She put her walls back up and stared at him. He looked back at her. Rosa pulled her sleeve up and revealed a knife strapped to her arm.

"Do not say it again," She growled and strutted out, back to her desk. Jake was left, smiling to himself. He couldn't wait to tell Gina. He whipped out his phone.

Jake: briefing room, NOW. Be discreet

Gina: omw

Not a minute later, the door to the briefing room opened once again but this time in walked Gina.

"What's up Jake?" She asked, knowing what this was about. Exactly.

"Soooooo Diaz loves you does she?" Jake grinned.

"No she was just putting on the act just like me, now we can both end this. Thank you for your time." Gina turned around to walk away.

"But was she," Jake hinted. She stopped and turned to face him once again.

"No, she can't of done. You cant have been right. She did not fall for me!" Gina tried to deny it.

"Oh but she did!" Jake was really smiling.

"No no no nooooo," Gina buried her head in her hands. "What did she say exactly?"

"I asked when she was going to end it and she said 'I'm not' and when I asked her if she had fallen in love she got all shy and soft. I've never seen her like that! SHE LOVES YOU."

"Jake this is bad, what do I do. I don't love her," Gina started to panic.

"Are you dating anyone?" Jake asked.

"Yes, yes I am," Gina looked up.

"Him, her, or?"

"Him," Gina was shaking.

"Text him and get him to come to the precinct. Make sure Rosa is in the room when he gets here. When he walks off the elevator run and kiss him. Make her watch, break it. Break her heart."

"I'm not sure I can, she doesn't deserve that!" Gina's face was pinker than usual. Gina knew things Jake didn't, she was goi fragile for this.

"Oh yes sorry I'll just have a quick meeting with Holt about..."

"Oh I hate you, ok I'll do it." Gina pulled her phone out. Her fingers were wobbling and it was hard to type. She looked at her phone for a second and then back at Jake.

"He will be here in 10 minutes," Gina sighed.

"So go back out there and act natural. And I'll get the popcorn." Jake stood up, winked and walked out of the room. Gina was left there, terrified.

She was sat scrolling through Twitter, her hands trembling, when she heard it. The doors the the lift ding. Gina looked over at Rosa, who was peacefully getting on with her paperwork and then over at the lift. Milton walked off smiling at her. Charles looked up and saw the two of them looking at each other. When Gina stood up, he knew what was about to happen but for Rosa's sake he hoped he was having a nightmare.

Gina shut all of the thoughts out of her head just after she looked at Jake who was grinning from ear to ear. It was time...

"MILTYYY!!" She squealed, running up to the man and kissing him. Wrapping her arms around his neck. Gina pulled away and looked him.

"Did she notice?" Gina whispered in his ear.

"Shit, she's crying," Milton pretended to kiss her neck to get to her ear.

Before Gina could turn around, she heard a huge crash. Gina spun around on her heels and met the sight of Rosa stood starring at her, her face tear stained already, eyes red and puffy, her computer was in pieces on the floor. Rosa stood there motionless, until Gina stepped forward.

"Come an inch nearer and it will be the last step you take Linetti," Rosa hissed and stormed of down the hall to supply closets. Gina looked at Jake who was trying not to laugh and then over at Amy. She looked disappointed. Jake obviously hadn't told her what was going on.

"You bitch!" A voice came from behind her. Gina turned around to see that Charles was now stood up. He looked disgusted. "I should have known. From when I saw you on the holiday to this. I never thought you would do that though, that was low. REAL LOW GINA!" Charles hurried off after Rosa to see if she was ok.

Nobody in the precinct knew about the two of them except Charles and Jake. Amy had an idea but wasn't quite sure. All everyone knew was that Gina was having dance lessons from Rosa twice a week every week. That had been going on for a few months now but nobody thought anything of it. People started to connect the dots with the way Rosa reacted to Gina kissing Milton though. A friend wouldn't do that.

The guilt hit Gina. Hard. She turned back to Milton and whispered in his ear.

"Can we get out of here?" All the eyes staring at her were making her uncomfortable.

"Yes come on," Milton pulled her over to the elevator.

She was a fool. Why did she think Gina ever loved her. Rosa punched the wall. She had locked her self in a cupboard and was trying to calm down. The tears were streaming down her face. All she wanted to do was scream.

SCREAM

SO

LOUD!

Rosa was going to town punching at one hole in the wall, when there was a knock at the door. She stopped.

"WHAT?!?!" She groaned angrily.

"Rosa it's Charles, I'm not going to make you let me in, but I am going to sit outside the door until you've calmed down. I just want you to know I'm here for you. I'll be out here if you need me," Rosa heard Charles lean back on the door. She wanted to open that door and hug him so badly. Just sob into his shoulder, but that wasn't like her here. He didn't know that side of her. She needed to keep it together. Rosa went back to punching the wall without answering him. Her knuckles were starting to bleed but she didn't care.

"Charles? Are you still there?" It had been about 40 minutes and Rosa was sat on the foot. She was a tired, sweaty, heartbroken mess.

"Yes I'm still here," a voice came from the other side of the door.

"Move away from the door, I'm opening it," she warned him so he didn't fall.

Rosa turned the lock and opened the door. Charles stood up and turned around. When he met her eyes his hear sunk. They were bloodshot and hurt. You could see how broken she was.

"Oh Rosa," He said walking in and locking the door behind him. He wasn't sure what to do because on one hand he wanted to be there for her but on the other he didn't like the idea of being stabbed today.

Before he had anymore time to think about, Rosa started to fall to the floor in a sobbing mess once again. He managed to catch her, but not in time to stand her back up. They both sunk to the floor, Rosa burying her head into his chest. She began to gently weep again.

"Hssshhhh, you are ok," he whispered softly, stroking her hair. The black mop of curls being softer than he ever would have thought. "Everything is going to be just fine."
