Carlisle's Pov:

Living with Lisa was going very well. There were times that she was very moody but she is now eight months pregnant. We have grown closer the past 2 months. We have decided that we are going to try to be a couple. Something that we have not done. It is nothing big right now. Just small kisses and cuddling on the couch when watching movies. I really miss Ally and she was afraid of getting hurt because of Matt. I would never hurt her as he did. I also know that Ally would want me to move on. Also, we put in a new security system and nothing else has happened. Today we are sitting at the table, we were having breakfast. I took the day off work so I can go with her. We had an appointment with the doctor. Lisa has been having some cramping.

"How are you feeling?" I asked her setting her plate on the table.

"I am tired, soar, and I feel huge." She said rubbing her belly.

"Hey not much longer until we have two babies here."

"I know. I am more than ready. I have finished high school and graduated. I am talking to my mom again. We are doing really good." She said taking a bite of her food.

"Life is good. Only 3 more months until I am out of school." I said as I took a bite of my food.

"Hey, remind me to take my hospital bag today. Just in case there is something wrong or the twins come early."

"Do you think they will?"

"Maybe. I am in quite a lot of pain."

I was just about to say something when Lisa moans in pain. "Are you okay?"

"My water just broke."

I rush over to the door to help her put on shoes. "Okay, let's go to the hospital. I will call the doctor on the way."

She nodded her head. I grab everything that she is going to need and we drive to the hospital. When we get there we get set up in a room. I call Lisa's mother because she wanted her here for the birth. We also decided that I was going to be in the room holding her hand. I was more than happy to be there for her. We sat there for 12 hours before she was dilated to 10.

Lisa's Pov:

After a 12 hour labor and another hour of pushing they were finally here. Carlisle and I sat in my hospital room looking at our babies. They were a little small so the doctor wants to keep them in an incubator for the night. Just for observation.

"You did a good job. They are beautiful." Carlisle said kissing my forehead.

"Thank you. Liam looks just like you."

"Lorelai looks just like you. They are a good mix of us."

"They are. Why don't you go to sleep you have had a long day. I am so proud of you." He said smiling at me.

"Okay. I love you." I said sleepily.

"I love you too." I hear him say before I fell asleep.

I don't know how long I was sleep but I was no ready to get up when I heard the nurse calling my name.

"Hey. I am sorry to wake you. It is has been 10 hours since you fell asleep. I am going to help you, nurse." The nurse said.

"Okay," I said sitting up.

She handed me Liam and had me try to nurse. After a few tries, I got the hang of it pretty easily. It was not the most fun thing but I would do anything for my babies. Also, the nurse taught me how to change their diapers and burp them. The nurse told me that the babies were doing good and she left them in my room. The doctor had cleared them.

Carlisle came in 30 minutes after the nurse left. "Are you up for visitors?" He asked me.

"Sure," I said.

Camille and Jake walked in right after him. Camille came up and hugged me.

"They are gorgeous guys," Camille said looking at them.

"You can hold them if you want," I said smiling at them.

Carlisle handed Camille Lorelai and he was about to hand Jake Liam when he told him that he did not want to. Carlisle came and sat at the edge of my bed with Liam. Camille sat in the chair next to the bed. They visit for about an hour until they had to go. We also got visits from his parents. Carlisle had told the school that he will be sick for a few days. He was just going to be out until I get out of the hospital and have been home for a few days. I was told that I am going to get to go home tomorrow. He was only going to miss a week. He will be back to school on Monday.

The next day we got all our stuff ready. I dressed the twins in there cute little onesies. (Look up top.) After I got them dressed Carlisle put them in there car seats. The doctor came in and gave us our discharge papers.

When we got home we put the twins in the room and I grabbed the baby monitor. We went down to the couch. I set the baby monitor on the table next to the couch.

"I am so tired," Carlisle said flopping on the couch.

"Me too," I said sitting next to him. I cuddled into his side.

"I want to talk to you about you saying that you love me."

"I did not realize it until yesterday. I was just afraid that I would get you fired. I think that's why I dated Matt."

"I did not really say anything because I thought it would be good for you to date someone your own age. Also, I reconnected with Ally."

"I am happy that we have a chance," I said kissing his cheek.

"Me too." He said pulling me closer.

"I miss my belly and feeling them move around."

"I know but it is so nice to see them and being able to hold them."

"It is," I said closing my eyes.

Carlisle pulled me off the couch and laid me down on it. I move forward so he could lay towards the couch. After he is comfortable he pulls the blanket off the couch. I put my head into his chest and listen to his heartbeat. A few minutes later I hear his breath even out. I slowly drift off to sleep.
