After the competition ended Angelina tried to mess up with me many times.

Once she asked me to come at a secluded place and set up some guys who have fallen for her charms to harm me.

But they ended up getting beaten by me.

Once she put some glue on my chair so that I embarrass myself.

Somedays she falls intentionally before me and starts crying.

And other days I find my books and materials in the dustbin.

Even if she fails each time, she still doesn't give up on her petty schemes.

One year passed by in this way.

I've practiced hard all this time which is finally bearing fruit. After Edward, I'm the most powerful in this academy and perhaps in the whole continent now. My mana is very stablized and my powers are advanced to the max. But to surpass Edward I need real battle and hardcore challenges which I wonder if I'll ever get *sigh.

For some days Angelina and the Prince is not crossing my paths. I wonder what scheme are they thinking of now.

Just when I thought things cooled down a bit, a girl left a letter on my desk in the academy and hurried off.

I opened the letter and saw...

Royal garden?? Is it the prince..?

No..its too feminine. It must be Angelina. But why?

'Who is that letter from?' Edward asked suspiciously.

'You don't need to worry. It's nothing.' I said.

Anyways, I should go and see...Not that I can't handle them on my own.

I visited the Royal garden. The garden is famous in the capital. I see all kinds of flower. I wonder how much they spent...

As I was busy in my own trail of thoughts I saw Angelina....

'Hi Belle...hope the journey wasn't too tiring. Take this beautiful flower as my apology.'

'Is it poison this time?'

'Why would you say that? That makes me upset. You don't have to take it if u don't want to.' She pouted.

She crushed the rose with her hands and threw it in the ground and trampled on it with her heels.

Then she started walking infront of me and talking about numerous unimportant things.

'Surely you didn't bring me here just for idle talk? State your business.'

'Don't be so impatient. We have both reincarnated together. We could have been friends you know. But only if you didn't steal away the limelight from me.'

She was getting lost in her thoughts....Just then we noticed the Prince.

He was admiring the flowers....then he looked our way and got elated seeing Angelina...while he glared at me at the same time.

'Glory to the crown prince of the empire. It's my pleasure to see you again.'

...Pleasure my foot.

'Its okay. Raise your head.'

'My prince, I brought Belle here to accompany me for a tea. Why don't you join us?'

'Sure' the prince agreed.

He must have a lot of time in his hands.

We sat for tea at the center of the garden in a beautiful place surrounded by flowers. The sight is enough to make a person lose his mind but not in my case as I'm sitting between two vicious creatures who can't wait to prick me like a thorn and trample me all over.

A servant poured down the tea while Angelina wore a fake smile in her face.

After we all took some sips she started talking.

'The prince and I was thinking we should end this enmity for good.'

'What enmity are you talking about? It was you who kept bothering me from the very start....Am I wrong?'

Angeline cleared her voice...'Ehem...just forget all this. To show you my sincerity I've requested the Prince to grant you the privilege to become my lady in waiting. You'll be the first so feel honoured.'

'Lady..what?!? What nonsense are you speaking?'

'Why is it a nonsense, Belle? After I become the crown princess I'll need a lady in waiting. You're the perfect candidate. Since you have a strong magic aptitude you can protect me. Since I'll be the empress in the future it should be an honour for you to serve the mother of the empire.'

'Did you forget where I come from? I'm the duke's daughter.'

'So what? You can't decline the future emperor's order,can you? And if you keep this attitude...'

'What will you do?'

'I'll strip your father of his position' the crown prince said with his haughty attitude.

'Do you think it's that easy?' I said.

'Simple. he'll be blamed of treason. The current Emperor is already suspicious of your father since he hid your magic strength earlier. Besides, you also keep a fairy to support you. He is already looking for ways to discard your father. Trust me'

'Its enough, crown prince. I'm feeling tired now. I'll leave for today.' I said controlling my killing intent.

If I stay here for even a second more I'll go berserk. I need to go home and think about this calmly. But before I left, I turned and said..

'Just try harming me or my family and you will see the consequences.'

They both shivered but still regained their composure and smirked at me.

I anxiously left the royal garden and reached home.
