(Y/n)'s POV
"Come on, (Y/n). I've had enough of begging. Let me have a taste," Ayato demanded.
"Then work for it, 'ousama' (king)."
He flipped me around, his strong arms snaking around my waist as he glided his tongue over my neck. Slowly, teasingly, sinking his fangs in, I gripped his shirt, rolling my eyes at his suggestive teasing.
I shivered as he licked the puncture wounds, a smirk hidden in his emerald green eyes. Groaning, I pushed him up against the wall but the smirk never left his eyes.
"Yours truly doesn't work. You said so yourself, didn't you? I'm a king," he said arrogantly.
"But every king must make sacrifices."
I licked his neck, mimicking his actions from before, ever so slowly taking blood from the red-haired male. He groaned, his grip on my waist tightening, wanting me to suck faster.
Licking the blood off my lips, I was soon taken by surprise as he stole my lips in a rough yet passionate kiss, his hands gingerly cupping my face, his gentle touch contradicting his arrogant kissing.
"You seemed to enjoy teasing me, (Y/n). Was my blood that delicious?" he asked.
"I could say the same thing to you."
"I love you."
Blushing, I refocused my gaze away from his face.
"Saying those three words still make you embarrassed, I see."
"Tch, whatever."
A surprised yell reverberated across the mansion, causing the both of us to turn our heads towards the door. Though only heard for a split second, I could recognise the human girl's voice anywhere.
Irritation flashed in my eyes. The girl didn't deserve sympathy nor mercy for she was someone that didn't belong; a wolf in sheep's clothing. Her wretched personality had burnt her once innocent heart.

Leaving Ayato's safe arms, I felt him disappear, his presence no longer in my room. Opening the oak door, I stepped outside into the empty hallway, heading down to where I had heard her irritating scream.
My laced boots clicked against the polished floorboards, my black miniskirt swaying slightly as I walked. Pushing the window open, my eyes caught the human girl held captive by Subaru.
Elegantly jumping, one would assume I had floated over the window sill to sit upon it. Placing my chin on my hands, I watched as she struggled and struggled and struggled, but all was done in vain.
Red eyes shone in the moonlight, angry blood dripping down his chin. I let out a small chuckle as he let her drop to the ground, dizzy and weak. She met my gaze, her eyes feigning fright.
Subaru picked a white rose from the bushes, her warm blood droplets staining the flower a rich red. I gladly took the beautiful flower he offered, taking in its sweet aroma all the while eyeing the fallen girl.
"Thank you."
He teleported away. I hopped off the window sill with a smile plastered on my face, and walked towards Yui. She immediately stood up, her stance cautious. Casually placing the rose behind her ear, I lifted her chin up to inspect it.
"Beautiful, isn't it?"
"(Y-(Y/n)..."
"You're a pitiful girl. No one's going to love you."
"No...they all do. They give me pain."
"You're a strange one, aren't you?"
"You're beautiful-"
She covered her mouth, ashamed that she had blurted out a compliment to the person she hated most. Smirking, I circled around her, savouring the anger she now tried to keep hidden.
"But I was told not to trust girls like you," she finished.

"And I despise girls like you, or maybe it's just you."
"...what's your relation to them?"
"I'm their childhood friend."
"And Ayato's your boyfriend."
"Why? Do you like him?"
"I'll make him mine."
I caught her wrist, my grip tightening to the point where she screamed out in pain. Her eyes glowed in fury as I stepped closer and drank from her neck.
She struggled, kicking, scratching, doing anything to try to hurt me, but I had her in my grasp. She was as good as a fly caught on a spider's web.
"Stay away from him."
"(Y/n)."
I let go of Yui, walking towards Ayato as he wrapped an arm around my waist. Pointedly leaning down to kiss me, I placed my arms around his neck as he teleported the both of us away from the crying girl.
Once we were in my room, we broke apart for want of air. I went to the balcony, the cold wintry wind blowing softly against my skin as snow started to fall.
Yui glared at me from below, her anger visible even from this distance. Her cheeks were flushed, her body shivering uncontrollably. I waved, a playful smile on my face as she growled in frustration.
Ayato hugged me from behind, burying his face in my neck as he took in my scent. Yui didn't bother watching as she angrily strode back into the mansion, where I could sense Laito waiting for the pitiful girl.
"Are you worried about her?" Ayato asked.
"...you won't betray me, right?"
"Who do you think I am? I'm yours, and only yours. Just like how you're mine and mine alone."
"If I catch you with her, consider yourself dead."
"You don't seem to realise how infatuated I am with you. Shall I show you?"
I gasped as he picked me up and went inside, the glass doors closing quietly. Placing me down on the bed, I laughed as his hands found my stomach and started to tickle me.
"S-stop!"
"No can do, 'princess'."
Tears brimmed my eyes as he continued to tickle me, his lips ever so close to my neck, his warm breath making goosebumps appear on my skin. I anticipated his fangs piercing my skin yet all he did was rest against my body.
He stopped in his pursuit of making me laugh against my will and pulled me closer to his body, my head now resting on his chest. I lifted his hand up, intertwining his fingers with mine.
Laito teleported into the room, a suggestive smirk on his face. I lifted an eyebrow, waiting for him to speak up.
"I'm taking Yui for myself. You don't have to worry, I'll play with her," he exclaimed.
I simply nodded before he left. Ayato gave my hand a squeeze before his breathing became slow and steady. How did he fall asleep so fast? Despite such thinking, I was lulled by the rise and fall of his chest.
Catching one last glimpse of his peaceful face, I smiled to myself, thankful for Laito's obsession with Yui and grateful for Ayato's unwavering love. Darkness took over my vision as sleep engulfed me.
