(Y/n)'s POV
Cold wind blew soared through the sky. Birds chirped merrily despite the freezing air coating the atmosphere with a sly smile. Pulling the scarf tighter around my neck, I watched my older brother's friends play soccer with peaceful tranquility.
Although never having had more than a simple greeting as communication with his friends, I felt no obligation to conjure up more interaction. Watching them play happily was enough for me.
Yet a certain male always had my full attention. He rarely participated in these matches but came along nevertheless. He rarely made conversation with me but offered a kind smile, as per usual.
He caught my eye, an enigmatic smile gracing his face as he stood up, his long legs taking him to me. Blushing a dark shade of red as he sat down beside me, I avoided eye contact.
"Why are you always alone, little butterfly?" Urie asked.
"I-I'm usually q-quite shy and can't talk w-well with others s-so..."
"Is that why you're always with Haru (your brother)? You two seem really close."
"Y-yeah."
"Do you want to go somewhere?"
"B-but..."
"It's fine, little butterfly. I don't like playing these games."
"Soccer isn't a mere game, Urie! It proves your worth as a man!" Mage yelled as he kicked the ball.
"Well, I beg to differ, Mr Sweat Collector."
"What?!"
I couldn't help but laugh as they bickered. Urie looked away from the blonde-haired devil to stare at me, making me stop and quieten down. His smile melted my soft heart as the world seemingly stopped around us.
"Shall we go, little butterfly?"
Gingerly grasping his outstretched hand, I was suddenly pulled to my feet. Sensing the ball heading towards me, I immediately ducked and closed my eyes for fear of getting hurt.

"It's okay now."
I timidly opened my eyes upon hearing Urie's reassuring voice. Sweat dripped down Haru's cheek as he panted, having merely just caught the ball before it hit me.
"Shiki, you idiot! Your aiming sucks!" he yelled.
"Hmm, but your reaction was fast, Haru. I wasn't even sure if you could make it," replied the fallen angel.
"(Y/n), are you okay?" Haru asked.
"I-I'm fine."
"Urie, don't you dare betray her."
"I-"
"I mean it. Your flirtation better not get the best of you."
Urie simply grinned softly before teleporting the two us away from the field. A rush of wind surrounded us, darkness taking over my vision as the scenery changed into one of a lively cityscape.
The demon beside me put our hands in his pocket, undoubtedly staining my cheeks a bright pink. We walked in peaceful silence as we explored the city, occasionally window-shopping and going into stores.
A small yet high-end confectionary caught my eye. Urie noticed my sudden interest in the sweets, offering to go inside. I immediately nodded and followed him into the cute shop.
"Do you want something, (Y/n)?" he asked.
"I-I didn't bring a-any money..."
"It's my treat, little butterfly."
"B-but..."
"Which one do you want? I think that chocolate seems good."
"Eh? I-I was thinking of t-the other o-one."
"Hmm...but no matter how much I think about it, these ones seem better."
"But I d-don't like t-that flavour."
"You can't be sure until you try it."
"B-but I am s-sure."
"You sure are stubborn."
"I c-could say the s-same about you."
I cracked a small smile before laughing. The corners of Urie's mouth tugged upwards as he met my shy, determined gaze. Blushing from the beauty and love shown in his eyes, I looked back at the chocolate, acting as if I was still deciding.

Urie's POV
My heart seemed to stop. My eyes seemed to only see her. My nerves got the better of me. I couldn't move, I couldn't look away from her gentle gaze. I was completely enchanted.
Her unexpectedly stubborn personality only amplified her cute stature. I was utterly in love with her. Although having had very little communication with the girl, I had watched her from afar. She held my heart in her hands.
"U-Urie, are y-you listening to me?" she asked.
"Alright, we'll get the one you want. I said it was my treat anyway."
Her face beamed as she lifted a box off the shelf. We went up to the counter, where a middle-aged brunette winked at me. (Y/n) immediately hid behind her facade, her light once again receding into a shell.
I paid no attention to the worker, yet she did not seem to take the hint. She leaned forward, her cleavage exposed. I wrapped an arm around (Y/n)'s waist and pulled her closer to emphasise the point that I wasn't interested.
Once paid, I took (Y/n)'s hand, making sure the woman could see and walked out the door. We headed to a park but (Y/n) remained silent the whole way there.
She did not even face me once we had sat down on the bench, secluded from the rest of the area due to the blooming cherry blossom trees. I reached over to take her chin, tilting her head to look at me. She stubbornly looked away. Heh, cute. I should make her jealous more often.
Slowly leaning down, I placed my lips on hers. Snaking an arm around her waist, I could feel her tense beneath my hold as I deepened the kiss. I lingered for a while longer, not wanting to let go of her warmth.
"I love you, (Y/n)."
"U-Urie! What-"
"You look cute flustered. Maybe I should fluster you even more."
"*blush* S-stop teasing m-me! I-I can't tell if y-you actually l-love me or if that w-was just you w-wanting a reaction out o-of me..."
"Which do you think it is?"
"I-I don't know. T-that's why I'm a-asking."
"Then shall I make it clearer for you?"
I kissed her again, grabbing her hands once she tried to push me away. Her fruitless attempts only made me want her even more. I pulled away, catching her blushing face with my hands.
"I love you. Don't worry about getting permission from your brother. I already asked."
"But-"
"Don't try denying the fact that you return my confessions. I can see it in your eyes."
"M-meanie..."
"But now that I'm your boyfriend, it's my job to tease you."
"What kind of logic is that?..."
"Do you want to eat the chocolates now?"
"O-of course."
I pulled the velvety ribbon off, only just catching her words as the wind blew past.
"Thank you for talking to me, Urie..."
