(A/N): Hey, I know I said I wouldn't do yaoi but I seriously don't ship Khun with anyone in the webtoon (please forgive me if any of you do). So yeah, I guess this was the most 'normal' or 'tolerable' for me. Anyway, please enjoy
Khun's POV
"Oi Khun, we're leaving," Endorsi exclaimed.
"Alright, I'm coming so stop banging on my door!"
Her impatience seemed to manifest into a living being when she tended to behave like so. Like an endless supply of encouragement to fuel her unwillingness to wait, that torturous impatience had no sense of giving up.
Throwing on a shirt, I opened the door and narrowly avoided her incoming hand. She fell forward with an awkward stumble, earning a good chuckle from me. Glaring into my eyes as she stood up, I waited for her to catch up before leaving.
"Your boyfriend's been asking about you for quite a while," she said as we headed towards our meeting place.
"Oh yeah? I haven't had the time to check my messages. I was trying to figure out some of Rachel's plans."
"For the whole night?"
"Most of the night."
"Well, I guess all we can do is leave it up to you and that arrogantly intelligent brain of yours."
Seeing the others gathered around the large oak tree, I waved once as a short greeting. Bam immediately lit up upon noticing our arrival, his nonchalant expression turning into a bright smile.
I returned his smile with a small grin before gesturing for the others to follow. Bam surreptitiously slid his hand into mine as he whispered quiet enough for only me to hear.
"I'm afraid," he confessed.
"Rachel doesn't stand a chance against us. Plus, if you let yourself be fooled again, I'm not sure what I'll do to you as a punishment."

"She's already betrayed me too many times, even going as far as hurting you to get to me. I won't ever trust her again."
"Then you have nothing to be afraid of. Have some confidence."
"Shibisu's always saying how you need to share some of your confidence with me," he exclaimed with a laugh.
"Well, you have your trust and belief to keep you going."
Rachel would be on the other side of this door...and this would be our last chance to take her down. If we failed, then we'd get no second chance. Bam didn't seem to realise the depth and despair that came with failure. He didn't need to understand the darkness.
He would forever remain in the light, and I didn't plan to allow Rachel to drag him down into the darkness, where she and I belonged. Rak kicked the door down, as if removing the barrier that separated us from our biggest battle.
Rachel's glare seemed to freeze Bam but I simply counterattacked with an easygoing yet arrogant smirk of my own, making her misinterpret the finality of our plan. She believed we had an ultimate plan, but we didn't.
"Khun, you came. I imagined that you would chicken out," she exclaimed.
"Ha, what a funny joke. I was just about to say the same thing to you and you know I don't joke about these things."
"You-"
"Are amazing. Yes, I'm perfectly aware of that. However, you are the exact opposite. No good looks, no outstanding talents and certainly no true friends to keep by your side."
"What? You can't possibly be saying that a sly man like yourself is better than someone who wholesomely wishes to finish climbing the tower?"
"No, you're wrong, Rachel. Khun might betray people but he would never betray those he values," Bam stated definitively.

"You two are making me sick! Get them!"
I immediately pulled up my lighthouse barrier just as her mindless subordinates charged towards us. Endorsi and Rak engaged in battle without a second thought, their attacks already dealing large amounts of damage.
Rachel retreated behind her strongest allies, who were still waiting eagerly to deal the final blow. No one was paying much attention to us, seeing how there was a battle taking place all around us. Perfect.
I immediately pulled Bam into a kiss, only leaning in closer when he tried to push me away. I smiled into the kiss as soon as he acquiesced to my commands.
Reluctantly pulling away, I smirked as he stared at me with wide eyes and tomato-red cheeks. He opened and closed his mouth as if unable to get his words out.
"Don't die on me."
"K-Khun, you didn't have to-"
"If you don't want me to do that again, I suggest you start choosing your allies more wisely and never get hurt again. Also, if I find you cheating on me..."
"That won't happen, Khun. Just give me a heads up next time you decide to kiss me out of the blue like that. What if someone's watching?"
"I don't care about who the hell's watching or not. I only need you to focus on me."
He sighed before running out of my arms. I stabbed the man sneaking up behind me before using my lighthouse to support Bam. The moment Rachel decided to mock me signalled the start of her treacherous downfall.
Bam and I may be different but that didn't matter to me. Others may argue that he was more suited to support the front line. Some may say that I could kill mercilessly, hence why I should be fighting out there...but we were just that different.
I couldn't care less about strangers and their personal matters but the value of everyone's lives seemed precious to someone like Bam. How did I even manage to fall for someone like that? I guess it was true when people said that opposites attracted each other.
"You lost the moment you stopped paying attention to me," Rachel exclaimed as she swung her sword.
I easily deflected her amateurish attacks with a sharp dagger of my own. Knocking the sword out of her hands, I held the blade against her throat.
"You wouldn't dare kill me. Think about how Bam would feel," she argued.
"Bam? He doesn't mind if I kill you...do you, Bam?"
"...go ahead, I no longer have any need for a girl who sees nothing but herself."
"B-Bam-"
I stabbed her stomach, her blood spraying onto my shirt. Tossing her body aside, I wiped my blade clean of her tainted blood before storing it in my lighthouse.
"W-why?..." she asked weakly.
"'Why'? Because he knows who he loves."
"Why...didn't y-you kill me i-immediately?"
"Because I wanted you to feel pain...because giving you a quick death would only mean helping you escape."
Bam appeared beside me, his expression giving nothing away as he placed a hand on my shoulder.
"Let's go, we have nothing else to do here," he said.
"W-wait...Bam..."
"I love Khun far more than I ever loved you. That's the only thing I have to say to you."
