Kyou's POV
Taking the microphone into my hand, I sung happily with a large smile gracing my face, waves of euphoria seeping into my heart as my fans cheered and sang along.
The spotlight shone down on my small figure, highlighting the sequins embroidered in my short top. My dark shorts emitted a sense of boyish nature yet my top balanced the rebellious look with its bright colours.
I walked around in my knee-high boots, encouraging the fans with my singing, hoping that my concert had exceeded their high expectations. Upon finishing the last song with a final note, I bowed, the smile never leaving my face.
~Some time later~
I cocked my head slightly to the side, staring at the blonde-haired idol in front of me. He flashed a cheery grin towards me, his bright blue eyes meeting my chocolate brown ones. I caught a glimpse of the male's unusually sharp teeth under the light.
"You will be doing a collab concert with Kou," said my manager, Shuri.
"I'm Kyou Komori, nice to meet you."
"Hai, yoroshiku, Kyou-chan," Kou exclaimed.
"Well, I'll be looking forward to positive feedback. You're dismissed," she said as she waved her hand and left.
"I have to go back to school now."
"Kou, isn't it almost evening though?"
"I go to night school. Hey, I know. Want to come with me?"
"Eh?! But-"
"Don't worry, it'll be fun."
Sighing, I followed Kou out of the conference room and towards the elevator. Pushing the down button, we waited in silence for it to arrive at our floor.
Once we were inside, an unbearably awkward silence suffocated the air in which we breathed. I risked a glance at the boy beside me but he simply hummed a soft melody as the elevator headed lower and lower.

Suddenly, he was in front of me in the blink of an eye, a playful smirk on his beautiful face. He took a few steps forward as I unconsciously stepped backwards until my back touched the cool surface of the elevator.
"Kyou-chan, you're really cute. You know that, right?" he asked innocently, yet his eyes hinted to a sense of unprecedented danger.
"Um...Kou?"
"You know, your blood smells really sweet. You won't mind if I have a taste, right? I mean, I'm even giving you a chance to visit my school so the least you can do is offer me some of your blood."
"My...blood?"
"Yes, Kyou-chan. I'm a vampire, you see."
My eyes widened in disbelief yet my inability to administer this information was dispelled when he gingerly licked my neck, his sharp fangs pricking my skin.
I gasped as he slowly began drinking my blood, one hand behind my head and the other straddling my waist. Tears brimmed my eyes as I recalled the cruel death of my deceased parents.
The police had refused to believe it but I trusted what I saw. A vampire...like Kou...had mercilessly sucked them dry, leaving me alone to drown in sorrow and despair.
"Your blood really is delicious, Kyou-chan," he exclaimed with a smile, blood dripping down his chin.
"Get away from me."
"*pouts* How mean. I didn't mean you any harm."
I immediately covered the puncture wounds on my neck, hoping that my shoulder-length dark brown hair could conceal it. He licked the crimson blood around his lips before heading outside.
Cautiously following the male idol, I watched as he got into a van and gestured cheerfully for me to follow suit. Upon seeing my hesitation, he grabbed my arm and pulled me inside.

Three other males had already seated themselves inside the black van, all of which seemed somewhat hard to approach. The one holding a book raised an eyebrow as I looked around in curiosity.
"Her name's Kyou Komori. I'm to do a collab with her so I thought I'd show her around our school. Oh and she's mine," explained Kou.
"We're Kou's 'brothers'. My name's Ruki."
"Yuma."
"I'm...Azusa."
"Pleasure...to meet you all."
"But you sure it's a good idea to take a human girl to a school of vampires? And she's an idol no less..." exclaimed Yuma.
"Don't worry, I'll make sure to let others know that she's mine," Kou replied.
Kou's POV
I watched Kyou as she shifted uncomfortable in her seat. Feeling somewhat sympathetic for the poor girl, I handed her a packet of chocolate pocky, hoping to somehow lighten her mood.
She nimbly took the snack from my outstretched hand, muttering a quiet word of thanks. Frowning, I leaned on my hand as I continued to observe her.
She seemed too vulnerable...almost too eerily similar to...how I was in my past. The darkness that had once taken over my heart now threatened to break me once more.
But this girl was different. She didn't let her conspicuous vulnerability hinder her performance nor her loving aura. She seemed to evoke a sense of protectiveness within others, which would have undoubtedly made her fans feel warm and safe...
"Kou, you've been staring at her," Ruki pointed out.
"*blush* As if I was! A-anyway, we're here. Kyou-chan, come on."
She dipped her head in a hasty bow before hurrying after me. Heh, what a cute human girl. Much more tolerable than M Neko-chan in my opinion.
The other boys stared at her as she passed, her brown hair shimmering in the light. Smiling nonchalantly to hide my selfish desire to keep her for myself, I tugged at her hand and pulled her closer to me, whispering softly into her ear.
"Don't you dare leave me, okay?"
"Whatever, meanie."
"Hmm? Get rid of that nickname or else I'll have to punish you later, Kyou-chan."
She shivered involuntarily but I could see the slight blush on her cheeks. Pulling the door open, I winked at the teacher, who became a flustered mess yet didn't question the arrival of Kyou.
"K-Kou, you're late," she exclaimed.
"Sorry miss, I'll make it up to you."
Smiling playfully, she once again dropped the subject. Kyou seemed uncomfortable with everyone's lingering stares so I simply pulled her seat closer to mine and licked her neck.
The others looked away, giving me the privacy I had indirectly asked for...yet I didn't drink her blood. Now wasn't the right time. She was mine and mine alone. I did not need others breathing in the sweet scent of her delicious blood.
"Kou, I think the teacher's jealous. Can you please stop?" Kyou asked as she inched away.
"Oh please. You're the only one I need."
"Kou, I can hear you pretty well," exclaimed the teacher.
"Yes, I know. It was just a joke, miss. Don't mind us."
The boys in the class smirked, laughing quietly at the teacher's foolishness. That was right...Kyou was the only one I needed.
