(Y/n)'s POV
"Hey (Y/n), we're going. If you don't hurry up, you'll be left behind," exclaimed Lucy.
"I'll be right there!"
Feeling the soft breeze against my face as I ran to the others' side, I cracked a small smile, unbeknownst to anyone besides myself. It has been quite a while since the previous job I took alone.
But this time...it was different. I had friends, comrades, who had offered to accompany me on my journey to take down a dark guild. Wishing for nothing more than our victorious win, I continued on with a newfound confidence in my stride.
Having the magic of an ice dragon slayer, I could say with certainty that my power rivalled Natsu's, yet at times, this certainty would falter and fail me in critical periods of dilemma.
"Yes! I can't believe we don't have to take the train!" Natsu exclaimed.
"Well, this guild isn't close to any civilisation so we don't have a choice," replied Gray.
"Happy, let's go on ahead and smash them to pieces!"
"You will do no such thing!" Lucy yelled.
"Now that I think of it, why don't you have an exceed?" Erza asked.
"Never took an interest in finding one and it's not like I can simply go to the dwelling of all exceeds or anything."
"I'm offended, (Y/n)," commented Happy.
"Well, good for you."
"Eh?! You're so mean!"
"*laughs* I'm only joking."
Flashing a smile towards the blue cat, I soon refocused my thoughts to the guild's location. If the anonymous tip we received was reliable, then the guild was located in a dead forest, abandoned and uninhabitable. Somewhere near the deserted outskirts of Magnolia.
Sighing, I managed to stop myself before the excessive worrying took over. One could not succeed without the courage to even try. The one thing my dragon mother taught me that I would never forget.

~Some time later~
We stood, facing the other mages in utter confusion. Our client had claimed that he was ever so grateful for Fairy Tail's offer to help. If that was the case, why was Lamia Scale here as well?
Erza was the first to break the awkward silence. I stood back, carefully observing the group from the shadows to see if this was merely an illusion. That was, until a light-haired ice mage caught my gaze.
"We've also received a job entailing the exact same details from the exact same client," he replied, breaking our eye contact to talk to Erza.
"This is strange. How did you know to come here?"
"We received an anonymous tip."
"What foolish mages you all are."
We swiftly dodged the incoming attack.
"Watch out!"
I felt someone's body collide roughly with mine as they shielded me from the creature's razor-sharp claws. Blood dripped down Lyon's arm as he stood up and offered me a hand.
"Thank you...and sorry."
"No problem, (Y/n)."
The dragon's roar reverberated across the entire forest, blasting our eardrums in the process.
"You stupidly righteous guilds think you're all high and mighty. I'm going to kill you all for the suffering you caused me! And I'm starting with Fairy Tail and Lamia Scale," exclaimed the man hiding behind the dragon.
"Who the hell are you? Who are you to think you can create a fake dragon and threaten us?! Being a dragon slayer, I can already tell that your dragon is a pathetic excuse of an artificial imitation of the real thing."
"How dare you! I'll start with you first!"
"(Y/n)!"
I nodded in response to Lyon's request. Reacting fast, I held out a hand and began preparing for a unison raid. He did the same, focusing his magic power into one area.

Taking a deep breath, his hand grasping mine, we swung the power and unleashed our combination magic. Both ice yet terribly strong. I had to hope it would work against this fake dragon.
"Ice dragon's raging flight!"
Lyon's POV
The ice dragon crashed into our fierce opponent, managing to destroy an entire arm...but it was far from enough. Everyone needed to attack all at once.
Realising that I still held (Y/n)'s hand in mine, I blushed a slight red. Why did I feel so strange whenever I was around her? We barely saw each other but the secret glances and subtle smiles we shared weren't something I had just made up in my head.
I squeezed her hand, making her look at me with worry. Turning my head to meet her beautiful (e/c) eyes, I grinned.
"Once this is over, I want to tell you something." She simply nodded.
"Alright everyone! We're going to attack all at once! Prepare your strongest hit!" Erza commanded.
"I'm all fired up now! (Y/n), Lyon, you're gonna regret stealing the first attack!" Natsu yelled.
~After the dragon's defeat~
As the sun set beyond the horizon, I smiled to myself. This time, there was no wondering if (Y/n) was looking at the same moon I was or if she was feeling sad while she stared longingly at the everlasting warmth in this serene scene...because she was right here with me.
I turned to look at her before lifting her chin up to place my lips on hers. She tensed under my hold but soon relaxed as I deepened the gentle kiss. Her lips were so sweet. She had me wrapped around the tip of her finger. I was under a love spell.
"I love you. Even though we barely talked, I found happiness in the times that we did. I love everything about you from your smile to your magic...s-so be my girlfriend."
"Omg, yes! I thought you'd never ask!"
I caught her as she jumped into my arms. She smiled the brightest when she was happy and I was grateful that I was the cause of her happiness. She deserved so much more but I was glad that she had chosen me.
"What did you think when you first saw me?" she asked.
"I thought that you were beautiful and that I would never have a chance so I tried to give up but...it was like I kept being pulled back. Those secret glances and shy smiles we shared, I lived for those small moments."
"Hmm, I never knew you were so sweet."
"Why? Did being around Natsu dull all your senses?"
"Pfft, as if!
I laughed as she pouted and looked away. I loved her too much...

An Unwavering Craftsman
Given the hereditary nature of classes, everyone expects Damien—the child of two high-tiered adventurers—to be granted a high-tier combat class of his own. Expectations are betrayed, however, when Damien finds himself instead saddled with a crafting class of the lowest possible tier: [Neophyte Tailor]. Left practically crippled compared to those with better classes, Damien wants to avoid becoming a pawn in the machinations of the nobility, desiring only to grind his level in peace while wondering why the usual rules of inheritance were broken. Was it his desire to excel by his own effort, rather than an unearned blessing from a god? Did the Five take offence at his opinions on the unfairness of hereditary classes? Or maybe it was something to do with the alien voice that intruded on his ceremony? A voice that offers great power, and freedom from the tyranny of the Five, but that never names its price. This story is litRPG-lite. While the class someone possesses controls most of their lives, people don't get dinged at for every level they gain, nor can they see their status without undergoing a special ritual. The MC has no romantic interest. Crafting is merely a way to game the system, and doesn't feature heavily in the story, aside from a few descriptions on how they're carrying out the system abuse. There is, on one unfortunate occasion, maths. The pace is quick. This was a participant in the Spring 2022 writathon. (i.e. it was posted as-written at high speed. I may give it another editing pass in the future.)

I, Mor-eldal: The Necromancer Thief
As a budding little necromancer, I soon discovered that the world of city people is complicated. When my master kicked me out of the cave, he warned me not to talk about my “dark” magic, because people here don't like the undead. I am not really an undead, I just have a skeleton hand, but it is better to be careful. Anyway, that's not my biggest worry. In the Black Dagger brotherhood, I learn a lot of things, such as illusionist magic, which turns out to be quite handy to survive in this maze of streets: in the Cat Quarter, we have thugs of all kinds that are best avoided. But we also have good people, goodhearted “gwaks”, as we say around here. Little did I know that I would soon be caught up in an infamous traffic that would entangle my life even more. With a mix of lighthearted adventure and picaresque, this story narrates the hectic life of a good-spirited street child and his companions in a medieval urban fantasy setting with some nineteenth-century influences. Updates Mondays and Fridays. This is a Creative Commons By work. It is a translation of a trilogy I wrote in Spanish between 2017 and 2018.
