(Y/n)'s POV
Rushing past the rubber bullets flying at me, I aimed a punch at the bald guard as he threw his pistol to the side to block my fist. The force of my punch sent him sliding back a few metres, painfully making me try to suppress a victorious grin.
It was just a typical afternoon in Nanba Prison, with me testing both my luck and strength on Hajime. Swiftly avoiding his fists and kicks, I twirled around the guard, landing on the tips of my toes, as if a dancer performing onstage.
"Enough with the showing off. If you don't attack, I'm not gonna fight you," he exclaimed.
"Oh? Are you angry that you can't land a hit?"
"I'm taking you back to your cell."
"Avoiding the question, I see."
"Yo Hajime."
I suppressed the fleeting flutter in my chest as Rock greeted the man with a grin, followed by the rest of his fellow roommates. The male's eyes met mine but for a brief second, sharing a secretive smile meant only for me to see.
"Can we bring Liang over for a meal?" Rock asked.
"Why would I do that?" Hajime replied.
"I want him to try some oven-baked pizza."
"No."
"But-"
"I said no and no means no so don't argue with me."
"Too late, Hajime. I believe Samon already brought him over."
He lifted an eyebrow, narrowing his eyes as he met my gaze before looking behind. I sensed the two as they stopped beside me, feeling Samon's mouth curve into a dissatisfied frown.
"What are you doing here?" asked Hajime.
"I'm here at the request of this girl. The warden permitted it," Samon answered, annoyed.
Hajime's neutral expression turned into that of an angered madman. I simply shrugged it off before my eyes widened in surprise as Rock pulled me into a bone-crushing embrace.

Liang graciously saved me from dying from the lack of oxygen. Suddenly, both my hands were caught in a gentle grasp by the two men I had tried to suppress my ever-growing feelings for.
"We're heading to the-"
"Hold on a minute, you three. You are not going anywhere without your handcuffs or a guard-"
I smirked as I felt my feet move of their own volition. Rock and Liang felt compelled to move as I pulled them along, away from the wrath of Hajime and Samon's uncontrollable anger.
We ran along numerous hallways, with me in the lead, helping to guide us through this endless maze. Liang immediately pushed me to the side as incoming arrows headed towards me.
His face was mere centimetres away from mine, which caused a blush to appear against my will. His lips were slightly parted, making me painfully aware of our awkward situation. Rock immediately pulled him off me, his eyes hiding the irritation of his pain.
"Let's go to the roof," he suggested, hoping to dispel the awkwardness.
"Sure."
~Some time later~
We sat by the railings, watching the vast, glittering ocean while the wind blew past. We were left unbothered most of the time. Hajime knew better than to anger me greatly.
Clutching their hands in mine, I imagined a reality where we could all be free, where there was a world waiting for us out there. But such fantasies could never become a reality. Under what reason would they willingly allow an assassin to be released into the world?
"(Y/n), there's something I'd like to tell you," Liang started.
"What is it?"
"I love you."
"Oi dude, you can't confess before me!" Rock exclaimed.
"You...love me?"
"(Y/n), I do too. You practically hold our hearts in your hands," replied Rock.

I squeezed my eyes shut only to feel the warmth of their lips on my cheeks. Blushing a dark shade of red, I stilled, too shocked to move a muscle. My heart was pounding ferociously, emblematic of my overwhelming feelings.
"...I can't choose."
"We won't ask you to. I'll admit that I'm annoyed because I don't want you to belong to anyone else but there's no helping it," Liang said.
"Yeah, we'll both be here for you so you'll have to be content with this," Rock added.
I squeezed their hands in reply. A warm, unusually satisfying feeling spread in my chest. This must be the feeling called love. I can't even begin to imagine what life would be like without it.
"(Y/n), I want a kiss," Rock demanded shyly.
"Eh?"
Instead of a reply, I felt his lips on mine as he pulled me in deeper. I felt myself melt before I was pulled away. Liang placed his on mine before I could even blink. Struggling to find the right words to say, I abruptly stood up against the cold and held onto the railing.
"Sorry, did we upset you?" Liang asked hesitantly.
"N-no, I'm simply...overwhelmed. I can't choose but I feel like I have to. It's..."
"Should we...have kept to ourselves?" Rock asked softly.
I turned around, finding the both of them unable to meet my eyes.
"You two are like family. I can't stand to live in a world without you both, so I'm glad."
"Are you happy?" they asked simultaneously.
"Yes, I am."
"You three! You think I won't be able to interrupt just because you're having 'a moment'?!" yelled Hajime.
"Oh great..."
"Sorry (Y/n)-chan, we tried to hold him back," Uno exclaimed as both him and Jyugo were holding onto his legs in an attempt to slow him down.
Nico was trying to push him back from in front but their efforts were done in vain.
"Run! Hajime-chan's very mad!" Nico warned.
"How about a fight? I need to destress."
"I'm not your personal rag doll!" Hajime replied angrily before shaking off the other three.
"Oi (Y/n), it'll be impossible for you to beat him on your own," Rock exclaimed worriedly.
"That's why I have you two by my side. It's been a while since we last fought together like this."
"...you're right. Hopefully we won't be beaten too badly," Liang answered.
The two stood beside as Hajime glowered at us, a murderous glint in his sharp eyes. Slipping a knife into my hand, I stood in a fighting stance.
"Have any more darts?" Liang asked.
"In my pocket."
He grabbed them before Hajime could even begin to foster the reality of an innate harbouring sharp weapons. I smirked in reply to his disbelief.
"I'm an assassin. I always have weapons at the ready."
"Fighting a guard with weapons will only increase your sentence," he stated.
"We'll see about that."
Rock ran in first, dying for a bit of fight. Liang and I followed in his steps, a large smile on my face as I struck down on the guard.

The Helena Chronicles
Espers are really no different than humans; they look like any normal human and in general behave like any normal human. However, there are a few key differences. The max life expectancy of espers ranges from forty-five to fifty. They naturally have a knack for mathematics and are extremely intelligent in general, this is because their abilities rely on the subconscious and conscious calculations. They also have a mysterious energy source they call Focus that is generated naturally by all espers. The continent of Elestveeve is populated by three major factions, each a governing force. On the west of the continent, there is the Noble Houses that subscribe to the Deity Faith. The Houses ruling with the Deity Faith as council since the religion's founding four-hundred years previous. Controlling most of the northeast is WITCH, an organization ruled by powerful espers; claiming the mysterious Genesis as their capital, they are a whispered myth among much of the continent's less technically advanced residents. In the southeast you have Tech City, a towering monolith of a capital with four sky layers and metropolis' leveled deep underground; it is a city brimming with technical advancement and cyber integration. Each faction contends with one another for their evolutionary ideology, by devout religious worship to receive miraculous gifts, unique genetic lineage to obtain ESP, and technological integration to become something more than human. Helena, a young genius and esper, awakes in a dark room with only fuzzy memories and the company of seven other children. She must determine how she got there and how to get back to where she came from. Warning: Due to time constraints, I don't have the time to keep up on my three stories; therefore, Helena will need to go in a stasis chamber until I can find more time to write between work and life. I love my first girl so much! however, it seems she is the least popular among the fans (the poor girl T_T). This world is much bigger than my other two novels and I'm not giving up on it, but simply having to put her on ice.

I also write as a hobby, and my motivation tends to go up and down. If I'm not feeling motivated, I won't force myself to write.
