(A/N): Hey, sorry for not doing the Larcade x reader...
(Y/n)'s POV
With an annoyed sigh, I texted my stepsister in an attempt to quell her hot temper. Without the intention to do so, I had knocked over her breakfast whilst chasing after the dog. She, unfortunately, took it the wrong way.
Finding myself at a cosy cafe tucked away in the corner, I walked inside and was greeted by a young man. What was this? A butler cafe? He escorted me to a small table before taking my order.
"Will that be all, miss?"
"Yeah, I'll order more later if I feel like it."
"Sure thing, miss."
Sitting back, I allowed myself to relax. Having some time to myself was something I had considered a rare blessing. It almost never came and I was grateful whenever it did.
Catching a glint of light behind the curtains of what I assumed to be a resting area for the staff, I cautiously headed over. The curiosity was itching at my mind.
Slipping the curtain back a fraction, I peeked inside to find a regular room with tables and chairs. However, a glowing orb floated in the hands of a statue that stood in the centre of the room.
"Hey, what are you doing?"
I turned around, seeing the same man from before.
"What is that thing? How-"
"I suggest you stop stooping around."
"I'll admit that I was wrong but what is that?"
"...come inside."
I yelped as he pulled me inside.
"It's a teleporter of sorts," he explained.
"Meaning?"
"Well, it's kinda hard to explain but now that you've seen it, I can't exactly tell you to forget about it."
"What does it do?"
"Um...well..."
He gestured towards the orb. With a confused expression, I reached out to touch it. Gushing wind and a viciously bright light surrounded the room. Seeing his triumphant smirk made me realise just how I had played right into his trap.

~When you wake up~
I rubbed my eyes, feeling light-headed and dizzy. The blur in my vision took a while to disappear. Looking around, I sat up and found a blanket over my body.
The night sky spread out like a beautiful painting above me. Around me were various supplies for travel and a blue-haired man lying a metre away.
What the hell?...Was that Jellal? As in the Jellal from Fairy Tail?! I jumped when he opened his eyes and turned his head my way. Sitting up, he flashed a smile.
"You're awake," he commented.
"W-where am I?"
"In the outskirts of Magnolia."
"Y-your name's...Jellal...right?"
"How did you know that?"
"And the guild Fairy Tail...is in Magnolia?"
"Yeah? Who are you? How do you know all this?"
"Wait, let me take a picture first."
I immediately grabbed his arm and smiled as I took a shot from my phone. This was amazing. He stared at me in pure shock as I shoved my phone back in my pocket.
"...what is that?" he asked.
"It's-"
A large boulder was thrown our way. I immediately ducked under my blanket out of fear but all I could hear was a small explosion not far from where the boulder had been.
"It's okay. I destroyed it but there might be bandits out here. Let's pack up and leave before it gets too dangerous. We'll save the questions for later," he exclaimed.
He started gathering all his belongings and only hesitated once he got to the blanket I had bundled up in my hands.
"I don't suppose you need that to hide under again, do you?" he asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Pfft, who do you take me for? I'm no coward."
"Hmm, I wonder about that."
I glared at him and handed him the bundled blanket. Suddenly, men surrounded us from all sides and blocked off all our possible escape routes. Glancing at every one of them, I felt Jellal bump into my back.

"They're weak," he whispered.
"But I can't fight!"
"No, I meant that I can easily take them out. Don't get scared."
He began manipulating the energy of space and stars, making me remember just how enchanting his heavenly body magic was. A surprisingly clear memory that stimulated the feeling of just how overwhelmed I was at the mere sight of such power.
Within a flash, the men were all down. Jellal immediately found my hand and began running in the direction of town. Forcing my stubborn legs to move, I was soon in pace with his swift speed.
A loud yell made me stumble a few steps before we stopped altogether. Large flames were heading towards us. Fear crept into my heart and refused to release my mind from its grip.
In an attempt to shield myself, I held out a hand, thinking that it would somehow halt the incoming fire. Squeezing my eyes shut, I realised that the flame never came into contact with our bodies.
"You're...a mage?" Jellal asked, surprised.
"Huh?"
The fire had dispersed. Without warning, Natsu and Happy popped up from the path.
"Sorry about that. We thought you two were thieves," he apologised.
"It's...perfectly...fine."
"Are you okay? You seem pale."
"Y-yeah."
"Oh, where did you learn that magic? It was similar to Gildarts."
"Crash magic? But I don't have..."
"Jellal, who is this girl?"
"I need to talk to your guild's master," he replied.
~At Fairy Tail~
Upon arrival, I was not given the time to gawk at the guild's building. Instead, we were taken up to the second floor to have a private discussion with Makarov - which, for some reason, made me nervous.
"So you're saying that you're from an alternate universe?" Makarov asked.
"Yeah. I think I know how I got here but from the way that that man smirked before...I don't think there's a way to return..."
"I see...but you already know everyone here. Care to explain that?"
"Um...that's a little complicated..."
Jellal asked for some time alone, which Makarov complied to without complaint. I faced the blue-haired mage with a confused expression. His gaze was too serious, his body too stiff.
"What's your name?"
"(Y/n) (L/n)."
"(Y/n)...I think you're from our world."
"W-what do you mean?"
"Why else would you know how to use magic? Do you have stepparents?"
"Yeah but-"
"No relatives?"
"...no."
"What about that scar on your arm?"
"I was told I was in an accident but...I remember it differently."
"How so?"
"It's a little fuzzy because everyone told me I was crazy and I thought I was making stuff up myself so I tried to make myself forget but...I was training...with magic. Sounds weird, right?"
"You..."
"I've always been alone so I didn't have anyone to rely on...I was always known as an eccentric, pitiful child..."
He grabbed my hand in his and flashed a smile towards me.
"You're not alone anymore. We'll work something out," he reassured.
"...why are you helping me?"
"Hmm...you just have that aura around you."
"What aura?"
"Why don't we save that for another time?"
"Hmph, meanie."
"I saved your life."
"I never asked you to."
"But then you would've never met us."
"I- w-well, you do have a point there."
"*laughs* Hey, do you want to come with me?"
"*smiles* Sure, I'd love that."
