(Y/n)'s POV
Bang. A clear shot, a clean kill. Nothing but the smell of metallic blood and the taste of my enemy's fear. Tucking my rifle into the harness strapped on my back, I turned the safety off my hand gun.
"P-please, don't kill me! I-I won't tell anyone w-who you are! I won't s-say anything!" the man begged.
"Hmm? I'm sorry but mercy isn't in my dictionary."
"Please!"
One shot, one kill. The rifle's bullet had pierced his leg, removing his ability to walk and run. I lifted my arm up and pulled the trigger without a second thought. His movement stopped altogether.
Out of habit, my fingers grazed the skull tattoo I had on my neck...a symbol of my heritage and of my fate. The vibrating I felt against my thigh made me pull my phone out and answer the call.
"Yeah dad, I finished up here. I'm pretty sure that gang's not gonna come crawling back to us."
"Good job, (Y/n). The others are all waiting for you. The gathering's gonna start soon."
"Okay, see you there."
The damp stench of the dark alleyway clogged my nose as I started walking away but this was something I had considered a normality. The screams of everyone I was assigned to, the torment in which I put them through...and the merciless training I had to go through to get here...
This was my life. Fighting for my dad's gang, fighting alongside my comrades. With a sigh, I headed back home...well, it was just an old barn on the outskirts of town but I had come to love its pleasures.
~At home~
Leaving everyone else to their drinking, I headed to my room and switched the light off. Grabbing my laptop, I hit play on the latest episode of Black Butler, an anime I had come to love and admire.

The black-haired demon made my heart swoon but I knew better than to believe in little girls' fantasies. A few minutes into the episode, a bright light surrounded my room, making me shield my eyes.
I felt a rush of cold wind and grass against my legs where there was once a bed. What the hell? I opened my eyes, only to gawk at the sight before me.
The Phantomhive manor...what the hell was it doing here?! And why did everything look like an anime?! Even my body and my clothes...wow.
"Who are you?"
I turned around to come face to face with Finny.
"My name's (Y/n) (L/n). Take me to Ciel."
"How do you know him? Are you a guest?"
"There's no time to explain, hurry up."
~Some time later~
"So you're saying that you're from a parallel universe and from where you come from, our world is what you call an anime?" Ciel asked, looking as if I had just told him a lame joke.
"Yes."
"And you expect me to believe that?"
"I believe she is telling the truth," said Sebastian.
I gulped and forced my gaze away from his playful smirk.
"What makes you say that?" the young earl asked.
"Her clothing and lack of proper mannerism, but mostly just as an instinct," replied the butler.
"Well, her attire is peculiar."
I frowned. Peculiar made it sound weird. After all, I only had on black denim shorts, a low-cut dark grey t-shirt and a black leather jacket matched with knee-high boots and fingerless leather gloves.
"Her weapons also seem far more advanced than this era," Sebastian exclaimed.
He was by my side within the blink of an eye, holding my arms above my head while grabbing my hand gun. My heart fluttered, but I reluctantly forced myself out of his grasp.

I still had my rifle strapped to my back, two daggers in the harness on my thigh and a knife and a few darts in compartments on my belt. He aimed the pistol at me but I kicked his hand, making him lose his aim and letting me take my gun back.
"Just say I do believe you, what do you expect me to do about it?" asked Ciel.
"Help me return home?"
"How exactly?"
"I don't know. Whatever you and that smart brain of yours come up with."
"You sure do provide me with a lot of clues," he said, sarcasm laced in between his words.
"I can repay you."
"With what?"
"Money. I have a ton of it."
"And I'm assuming that that money can be used 'in my world'?"
"Ah...gold and jewellery then."
"I don't need any of that. Work for me."
"...fine."
"Now get out of my sight. Your improper dress and attitude is annoying me."
"Tch, rude much."
I left the room, realising the demon's dark presence behind me a little too late. But not by a lot. I had my gun aimed at his head, preventing him from moving any closer.
He simply smirked. I knew that all of this was probably just child's play for him but I had to at least try. Sighing, I put the gun away. He took this chance to pin me to the wall, his face dangerously close to mine.
"I can hear your heartbeat, (Y/n)."
"Well, good for you."
"Might you have feelings for me?"
"Haven't you considered the fact that I may just be nervous because you can kill me?"
"True but I don't believe that's the reason for your flushed face."
"You-"
I was cut off as he kissed me, leaning in closer so that my whole back was pressed against the wall. My hands found their way to his hair before I forcefully kissed back, taking him by surprise.
Secretly, I snuck a dagger out and flipped us over so that he was against the wall with a blade to his throat. I smirked at seeing his shocked expression.
"Don't expect me to be a goody two shoes. I'm not one of those girls you can win over by doing this kind of stuff."
"Oh but I know that I already have your heart in my grasp. You seem to know me even when I don't know you and you love me," he stated.
"Jerk."
I reluctantly put my dagger away. He immediately kissed me again, making me melt against his body. I pushed him away but the look in his eyes was enough to make me stop.
"Why are you pushing me away?" he asked, sorrow etched into his words.
"D-drop the act. I don't want to be toyed with."
"*smirks* You're tough but I don't think it'll take long to break down your defence."
"Just try me. I've had to put up with countless people begging me to spare their lives but not once did I show them mercy. I've learnt to push my feelings to the side."
"Oh, have you? We'll see about that, milady."

Does Hell Have an Adventurers' Guild?
I have decided to try out a different style. I cannot say much at this point, the story is mostly fantasy/romance and will evolve as I go, but it will involve an "adventurers' guild" in a demonic setting. MC will be a reincarnator becoming a denizen of hell, I will add vital description as I go. Gore will be used with reason, some bad words here and there and severe explicit or traumatizing content will be announced in advance, but it will not be the focus of the work.
