(Y/n)'s POV
A void of darkness, the stench of worthlessness...it was all here, everything that I had tried to fight against. My chained arms and legs remained immobile and did nothing to resist their restraints.
Yes, it was true that I had been captured by the demon king because I was to be his bride. Of course, this ridiculous marriage was forced upon me and the mere thought of escaping was something I could only dream about because miracles did not happen.
As I felt my senses focus on the reality I could no longer escape from, a figure...an illusion of sorts came into view. A young teenage boy stood amidst all the smoke and faced me with an almost arrogant-like confidence.
"I want to make a contract with you," he exclaimed.
"A contract? Do you not already have one with a demon?"
"Yes, I do but he cannot possibly fulfil all the tasks I assign him to do. That is why I asked him to recommend another demon to me."
"And to who do I owe the pleasure of this absurd contract?"
"Ciel Phantomhive, Earl of the Funtom company."
"How would it benefit me?"
"Must I spell everything out for you? I will free you from the grasp of the demon king. You will no longer have to suffer from his cold-hearted commands."
"*sigh* I suppose it is better to serve a cold-hearted child than it is to serve a cold-hearted demon."
"So do we have a deal?"
"Of course...master."
~Some time later~
I couldn't believe it. A child had actually freed me of my duties. Although his orders might as well be merciless, it was far better to be in the dull realm of humans than the exquisitely cruel world of demons.

As I hurriedly made myself some new clothes, a knock on the door made me stop my excited thoughts. As soon as I had smoothed out the wrinkles in my dress, I went to open the wooden door.
"Sebastian Michaelis, at your service...milady."
"I hold no power over you here. Drop the act and tell me what it is that you need me to do."
"*smirks* It seems that I was right in choosing the future queen of demons."
"Oh? You know about me?"
"Yes, of course. Your name, status and even your pitied situation is quite well-known to all demons."
"I see..."
"Well then, the young master has asked for you."
I followed the tall demon down the long hallway and into a well-furnished office, where the boy from before was sitting behind a large oak desk. His stoic expression reminded me of myself in some odd way.
He gestured towards Sebastian and whispered something into his ear. I could barely manage to make out what he had said. So they were planning to test my abilities? Seemed like I would have to prove my worth.
I caught the books that were thrown at me and balanced them on one hand while I caught the knives in the other. I threw them back at the demon with adrenaline pumping in my veins, excited to have this power again.
As he ran towards me, I broke the window and jumped through the shattered glass. The cuts on my arms healed almost immediately. I glanced back to see that Sebastian had followed me.
To my surprise, a couple of humans were aiming guns at Ciel, who seemed to be watching the whole thing with a calm, almost relaxed composure. Did this kid honestly think that everything would be done for him?!

I quickly caught all ten bullets before they could reach him. That was when Sebastian grabbed me by the waist and jumped up to the rooftop, narrowly avoiding the bullet that had been aimed at me.
"T-thank you."
"It would have been troublesome if you were injured. I simply did what had to be done so please don't be mistaken about my intentions. I did not and will not do anything for your sake," Sebastian replied.
"That's nice to know."
"Drop the sarcasm. Don't provoke me."
"Provoke you?-"
We heard a gunshot near the forest, where the men were hiding. I glared at them and threw the bullets back at them, hitting all ten men square in the head. A clean kill.
There were people that were willing to assassinate Ciel and I had to protect him. If not, if he died, then I would have to return to the demon king.
"I believe our conversation was interrupted," exclaimed Sebastian.
"Yes, that's right. I doubt someone of your rank would be able to defeat me."
"Someone of my rank? I thought the demon hierarchy held no meaning here in the human world."
"That is true to some extent."
"Shall I test it?"
"Sebastian-"
"Yes, I am fully aware of what type of demon you are. A succubus, am I correct?"
"Hmm, so you're not so clueless after all."
"I'm sorry but I highly doubt that your seduction skills will work on me."
"We'll have to see about that."
I could tell that he was finding it difficult to resist my charms. His willpower was amazing. He was holding out against the ex-future demon queen but these charms were not the only things I had to offer.
Without giving him a chance to escape, I grabbed his arm and placed my lips on his. He tried pulling away but I could tell that my spell was working quite well.
I leaned in. Soon enough, he was kissing back, completely enchanted and under my spell. I had him wrapped around my finger. The only thing that could break this spell was true love but that was impossible. It was too late for him...unless...
I pulled away and looked him in the eye. His red eyes had turned darker, almost like a deep maroon colour. Yes, I would never let him escape. I had finally found a desirable thing and I was never going to let it go. I finally had something that was mine.
He leaned in but I just smirked and returned to Ciel's office. He raised an eyebrow and gestured towards Sebastian's obvious attachment to me.
"I enchanted him but it should be easy enough for you to break the spell."
"Hmph, to think that he could be seduced by a female demon," he muttered.
"I can help him resist my charms."
"And I'm guessing you want something in return?"
"Yes, I want him. He will be mine as well as yours."
"...I do not see how it will benefit me. You mentioned that I could easily break off your spell."
"Yes, I did but it also depends on his willpower to break free."
"...fine, I agree to your deal."
"Thank you, Master Ciel."
"Sebastian, this is an order: break free of her seduction spell and come back to your senses."
His eyes returned to their usual red colour. I leaned against the table as he finally returned to his senses. I could see annoyance clearly written on his face.
"(Y/n)-"
"Your resolve isn't as strong as I thought."
"*smirks* You truly are...a worthless queen."
But I knew the hidden meaning behind his words. I was his queen now that I had proven myself to him.
