Bam's POV
I paced back and forth in (Y/n)'s room, unable to keep my patience in check. It was true that I had lost my calm. It had already been over a week and she was still asleep. I wasn't sure if she was ever going to wake up again.
Dark, irresistible thoughts clouded my mind, pulling me over to the side of delusion and misconception. Giving up was easier than pushing forward, even if most were reluctant to admit this...and it was true.
I found it hard to move on for (Y/n) when the miracle I wished for might as well be impossible. Even still, she was my sister. I needed to keep believing or else I'd have nothing going for me. I needed her.
"Hey Bam, have some food," exclaimed Yuri.
"Oh...sure."
I took the plate from her hands and put it on the small table, leaving it untouched. It was only ramen, something we could get almost anywhere.
"*sigh* You have to eat or else you won't survive. Everyone helped make that despite not knowing a thing about cooking."
"Really?"
"Mmhmm, so you better eat it. Don't let their efforts go to waste."
She left the room as I sat here, staring at the bowl of ramen. Everyone was worried about me, weren't they? I felt a sense of guilt eat at my mind. I was too occupied with my stupid thoughts.
After I finished eating, I smiled to myself before leaning back on the chair. (Y/n) was going to wake up because I would never leave her alone if she didn't. She would have to deal with me till the moment I died, which I was pretty sure would be super boring.
A distant memory suddenly flowed into my mind as I looked at my sister's peaceful face. When we were younger, she used to sing to me. Whether it was because I was upset or just for some entertainment, she would always find some illogical reason to sing...but I didn't mind.

Her voice was beautiful. It was something I couldn't even describe in words. Tears slid down my cheeks as I realised that I may never hear her voice again. *Arms by Christina Perri*
(A/N): I know this is a really old song but I don't really listen to 'English' songs anymore and plus, I don't exactly care what the new 'hit' is so yeah...just bear with my 'old-fashioned' music
I never thought that you'd be the one to hold my heart
But you came around and you knocked me off the ground from the start
"Hey (Y/n), do you still remember the time when you cried because a spider jumped on your shoulder?"
You put your arms around me
And I believe that it's easier for you to let me go
You put your arms around me and I'm home
"It was that time when we promised to protect each other...wasn't it?"
How many times will you let me change my mind and turn around?
I can't decide if I'll let you save my life or if I'll drown
"Your singing was always like a star, but you know...it was you who made each day better for me."
I hope that you see right through my walls
I hope that you catch me 'cause I'm already falling
I'll never let our love get so close
You put your arms around me and I'm home
"I was happy...that you were with me. Remember when we tried to build a castle out of the dirt? You got smudges all over your face."
The world is coming down on me and I can't find a reason to be loved
I never wanna leave you but I can't make you bleed if I'm alone
"Hey, even if you get dirty or you think you're weak, I'll still love you. That's what I'm here for."

"You know when we first met our friends? You were so scared yet you greeted them with a kindness that radiated from within..."
You put your arms around me and I'm home~
I tried my best to let you in to see the truth
And I've never opened up
I've never truly loved
"We really have great friends, don't we? I wonder what they'll say when you wake up and defy the omnipotent being who decided your cruel fate..."
'Till you put your arms around me
And I believe that it's easier for you to let me go
(Music)
"We're all worried about you. You don't need to put others before yourself all the time..."
I hope that you see right through my walls
I hope that you catch me 'cause I'm already falling
I'll never let our love get so close
You put your arms around me and I'm home (x2)
"(Y/n), all I want to say is that...I love you."
I stared at her, only to widen my eyes in surprise and shock. Was I dreaming? I pinched myself to make sure and the sight in front of me was indeed real.
I immediately pushed the lid off the glass container and hugged her. Endless tears slid down my cheeks and onto her shirt but I didn't care.
She was awake and that was all that mattered. I was happy and awfully relieved that she woke up. When I felt her arms wrap around me, I knew that I wasn't dreaming and cried even more.
"Bam, you're such a crybaby," she exclaimed with a smile.
"(Y/n)!" I heard everyone yell.
I pulled back to wipe my tears. Everyone crowded around her. The look of surprise on their faces mirrored the one I had before although it seemed that Evan knew something about this.
"What happened? Why did she suddenly wake up?" Endorsi asked.
"I think it had something to do with Bam. Your warmth was enough to melt her frozen heart," replied Evan.
"My...brother's warmth?" (Y/n) asked.
"*smiles* It's Bam, he's the only one who could do that. What else would you all expect from someone like him?" Khun said.
I looked away in embarrassment. But I guess what he said was true. Even if I was reluctant to say it was, at least (Y/n) was awake and next time, I would never let this happen again.
"Hey Bam, just to let you know, I heard everything you said," (Y/n) exclaimed happily.
"O-oh, really?"
"Yep."
We looked at each other before bursting out into laughter. I was glad to have her back.

Path of the Stonebreaker
Femira spent her life stealing scraps and looting corpses just to survive another day. When she stumbles upon the chance to steal another's identity, she thinks she's found the ticket to an easy life. But she soon finds the glamour of the runewielder's hall hides as much peril as the bloodslick streets. Abandoned by his abusive father at the far reaches of the world, Daegan may not have the powers of his ancestors but he refuses to die in banishment. Will he make it back home in time to prevent a brewing war? ------------------- This is a gritty drama-driven, rambling tale that presents mysteries early on that the characters work to unravel throughout the story. It swings between action, drama, and sometimes some darker comedy. Warning: A whole lot of profanity, alcohol, drugs, implied violence, actual violence and mega-violence—the kind that involves knives sliding into eye sockets and brains spilling onto floors—the usual stuff, scenes of intimacy, mercenaries, pirates, lots of moral ambiguity, including a wizard that likes to make tea with the heat sucked from his victim's bodies and a heap of world-ending monsters ready to eat people. _______________ Expectations: Updates every Monday and Thursday. Chapters will be between 2,000 and 5,000 words. I'm Irish and write in "Irish English" which is to say that I don't use much of the letter "z"
