Bam's POV
"...what happened to her?"
"I'm sorry, Bam. I couldn't stop Rachel...all I could do was freeze the bomb," Khun replied with guilt laced in between his words.
"So (Y/n)'s going to stay in this frozen state?"
"I'm not sure. I don't know how I even 'saved' her in the first place..."
My sister was unconscious and possibly going to stay like this for who knows how long...and it was all Rachel's fault. She tried to kill (Y/n) despite knowing how important she was to me.
I clenched my fists in anger and frustration. Why couldn't I save her?! Why?! This was it. This time, Rachel went too far. I...was never going to forgive her again. She didn't deserve my forgiveness.
"Khun, look after her for me."
"Where are you going?"
"To see Rachel."
I walked off without hearing any of my friends' protests. Back then, I was too naive. I trusted Rachel and believed her even though she had betrayed me. But now, I knew. I knew that she was not be trusted no matter what.
As I headed to find her, my anger boiled up even more but mixed with this growing frustration was my increasing concern and fear. What if (Y/n) never woke up again? What if...I never got to talk to her? What if I could never see the life in her eyes again?...
I held back my tears and headed towards the blonde-haired girl who stood a few metres away. She seemed to know what I was here for yet she did nothing to escape. Was she confident that I wouldn't hurt her?
"Rachel-"
"I know what you're here for. It's about (Y/n), right?" she asked simply.

"Why did you do it?"
"Isn't it obvious? I wanted you to leave me alone! I hate you! Everything is always about you! What about me?! I have a life too! But you took it all away from me!"
"...no, Rachel. I never took anything away from you because it was all mine to begin with."
"I'm not beautiful nor am I strong, so all I ask is for loyal companions to help me climb up the tower. Don't you think I'm much more unfortunate than you, who has everything?"
"Even so, that doesn't give you the right to hurt those that are close to me. I love (Y/n) and you took her away from me."
"Because that's the only way I can bring you down."
I exploded bangs of shinsu dangerously close to her body. Every time they went off, she would scream and yell at me to stop. I didn't. I kept going, making her dodge certain ones and used the rest to scare her.
(Y/n) might never wake up again and Rachel was here, alive and well. She had intentionally hurt my sister to get to me. There was no reason for her to nor was it a simple accident.
She needed a little scaring. After all, she seemed to forget about the power I held within my grasp. If she wasn't careful, I might as well accidentally break her so much that she'd wish she was dead.
"Bam, stop! I'm begging you!" she yelled.
"I don't ever want to see you again but if I do, I might kill you."
I left before she could say another word. She didn't deserve to waste my time. I needed to get back to (Y/n).
~Some time later~
"How is she?"

"Nothing's changed," Khun replied.
After a while, everyone left the room, leaving me and (Y/n) alone. I looked at her peaceful expression through the glass of the container that held her body.
Her expression contradicted greatly against my worried state of mind. I was afraid that I'd pass out from worrying so much but I had to believe in my sister. She was strong and would never let something like this get in the way of our relationship.
Hot tears slid down my cheeks as I cried silently. What a pathetic brother I was...(Y/n) would definitely laugh at the sight of me crying. I didn't mind, I would never care as long as I could have her by my side again.
If Khun somehow unfroze the bomb inside her heart, would it still go off? Was she better off in this unconscious condition? Was it better to leave her...sleeping forever?
No one's POV
While Bam watched over (Y/n) day and night, the others were trying to come up with a solution to wake her up. Bam's condition was beginning to worry them as well as (Y/n)'s.
He couldn't stay in there forever waiting for something that may never happen. Khun felt especially guilty. It was almost his fault that she was like that and he had no clue as to how to save her.
"Hey guys, maybe we can get someone from the Yeon family to melt her frozen body. I know someone who'll definitely help me," exclaimed Yuri.
"Yeah, but we'll need to get off the train and we need to get off at the last station. Will Bam last that long?" Khun asked.
"We will make it," said Hwaryun.
"And how is the red turtle so sure of that?" Rak asked.
"She's a guide, you dumbass. Even if I don't exactly like her, it's probably best to listen to her," Endorsi replied.
The door to (Y/n)'s room opened, letting Bam step through. The others all looked at each other with worry. It was the first time he had come out ever since he came back from his confrontation with Rachel.
"Hey Bam," Khun started.
"Yeah...I know. I heard everything," he replied.
"So? What are you going to do?" asked Endorsi.
"I'm sorry, I've been a mess. From now on, I'll try my best to help (Y/n)."
"That's the spirit. You wouldn't want her worrying about you straight after she wakes up. *sighs in content* How cute love is, especially with Bam!" Yuri said.
"*blush* Y-Yuri!"
"There's that smile. You should be happy when she wakes up. Don't leave that ugly frown on your face ever again."
This caused everyone to laugh, even Bam who hadn't experienced an ounce of happiness from the moment he had found out about his sister's condition.
His friends all smiled at each other. They were worried that he would never smile again, at least not until they had managed to bring (Y/n) back.
'They're all right. I should be smiling when (Y/n) wakes up. That's what she would like me to do...so (Y/n), don't you dare worry. I'll wake you up no matter what it takes...I love you,' Bam thought to himself.

A D&D Gamer in Garweeze Wurld
He doesn't know how he got here, and while the trappings are familiar, he doesn't actually know where he is, either. From the perspective of those around him, Duromar is a half-ogre barbarian, an uncivilized brute by any standard you care to use. But from his perspective, he's a character created in a gaming system. From either one, he must live within the rules of that system. This is the story of a gamer who ends up in a game that's just a bit off from what he knows. ---- I wanted to write something a little bit old-school. Most of the LitRPG I've found seems to be based on computer RPG styled stories. Progression through levels is fast, and depending on the game, skills and even attributes can be trained with or without class levels. This wasn't true with the older pen and paper games, and that's the style of leveling I wanted to write.

Devious Dungeon [Dropped]
A man seeks his own path, deviating from the norms. For his own goals and desires, he seeks a path uncharted. For the sake of satiating his curiosity, he sought to tresspass in the domain of the divines. Achieving something none had before, he transcended his limits. Denied was he from fruits of his labor, cheated and cast away to be forgotten. Yet he was given a chance, a gamble to reclaim what was lost. Did he lose more than he gained, or did he stumble upon a yet another path untrodden? Hiya, first story I started to write. This story has no definite goal as of yet, as I'm using it to improve my writing skills as english isn't my native language. Main theme is going to be dungeon building. Is the theme cliché? Well yes, yes it is. And I don't care, as I'm going to try add some new twists and turns while experimenting with my writing. In the future, story will contain more mature content, you have been warned. Thus speaking, constructive criticism is welcomed, random bashers and weeaboos are promptly ignored. Updates are sporadic in nature, happening when inspiration strikes. I do not own the copyrights of the cover. These rights belong to the respective artist.
