(Y/n)'s POV
I looked between the two people that stood before me. One: a stranger who seemed to have captured my attention, and two: the girl named Rachel who had lied and used me for her own personal gain.
The blue-haired man held a knife to my throat, threatening Rachel with my very life. It was a smart plan. She valued me above most things due to my ability to fight and heal at the cost of my blood.
I...was nothing but a priceless tool for her. This man had negotiated with her and won the game of chance, proving that God was never going to be on her side.
"Let her go! She's mine!" yelled Rachel.
"Then give me back my weapon. You seriously have no idea how much trouble I had to go through to get that," replied the man.
"Khun, you'll regret stealing her away from me."
"And you'll regret taking my weapon."
"(Y/n), fight back! Kill him!"
I looked at the man who held me captive. He simply winked at me before lifting me up into his arms. I let out a small gasp of shock. Rachel commanded me to fight him but I no longer felt complied to follow her orders.
He brought me to his friend's ship and effortlessly deflected the knife that Rachel had hauled over in an attempt to injure me. I watched as her figure became smaller and smaller till it was only a speck.
"I take it your name is (Y/n), correct?" he asked.
"(Y-(Y/n) (L/n)."
"Well, my name's Khun. Don't expect us to treat you nicely, you're technically our enemy."
"I...understand."
"You're awfully obedient."
"I'll take that as a compliment."
"Hey Khun, shouldn't we be treating her as an equal? You can't expect her to listen to us if we treat her as a tool, can you?" asked a brown-haired boy.

"...I guess you're right but you can do that if you wish. I'm still treating her as Rachel's toy."
A knife was thrown right through my heart as the nonchalant statement flew out of his mouth like a light breeze. I felt pained, depressed even, by the fact that I was treated like an object by those who were deemed 'the good guys'.
"(Y/n), I need to talk to you. Come on," Khun exclaimed.
I looked at the others but they just flashed me an apologetic smile as I hesitantly followed him outside, onto a wide training area. The others didn't bother coming, indicating that this matter was most likely 'private'.
"How did Rachel find you?" he asked.
"I...was a part of Fug and given to Rachel by the people in high positions."
"So you're saying you were simply a tool for Fug and nothing else?"
"*nods* I don't remember my previous life. The only identity given to me was my name and purpose...to serve Rachel for eternity."
"And you just obeyed them without fighting back?"
"I had no choice. I was..."
"You were told that you were going to be controlled to be a mindless killing machine?"
"H-how did you know?! That was supposed to be classified information!"
"I'm a light bearer. Finding these things are a piece of cake."
"Oh..."
"Don't worry, I detached the device from your neck."
"But it was supposed to stay on-"
"Do you not trust in my ability?"
He crushed the chip in his hand before blowing it away, letting the wind carry its ashes to a faraway land. I stared at him with wide eyes as he began walking towards me.
I stood, unable to move as he lifted my chin up and stared into my eyes. I was lost in the deep, electric blue of his as he continued to stare at me.
"You belong to me now. You will never betray me and you will most definitely never go over to Rachel's side again," he demanded in a low tone that made goosebumps form all over my body.

"...if that is your wish, then I shall see it through till the very end."
I formed the blood contract that resided within my power and made the agreement that would last until the day I died. He had saved me and I was to follow his commands for eternity.
I was under a curse in which I would be nothing but a tool for the person that would come to save me. Fug had manipulated my power to make me follow their cruel orders but this man had saved me.
All I could hope for was the fact that he wouldn't compel me to do inhuman tasks. I couldn't handle doing them, even if I was nothing but a priceless object for people to use to their hearts' content.
"Watch out!"
Khun pushed me down to the ground and used his lighthouse barrier to shield us from the explosion. While the barrier was still intact, he pulled me up and began running back to the ship.
"Hold on!"
I used shinsu to make us travel faster, as fast as the speed of light. We arrived at the ship in the nick of time before Khun yelled for the person flying it to "get moving".
I looked out the window as Rachel glared at us. The look of fiery on her face was indescribable. Surprisingly, I felt no guilt nor sympathy for her as we began making our way to the next floor of the tower.
"T-thank you for saving me."
"You're welcome," replied Khun.
"...why did you? I could've-"
"You're no use to me if you're dead. I'd much rather use you for bigger problems. But in the meantime, I promise I won't put you in the face of danger if I deem it unnecessary."
A warmth spread throughout my chest as he said those words. I couldn't help but smile broadly and jump on him to an attempt to hug him. He quickly steadied himself as I wrapped my arms around him.
"Thank you!"
"Geez, there's no need to cry over that..."
"Hey, why does it matter that the blue turtle protects you?" asked a crocodile-looking creature.
"*sigh* What a dense idiot..." commented a girl whom I had identified as Endorsi Jahad.
"Excuse me?! You're the dense one, you big-eyed turtle!"
"What was that, you lumpy-headed monster?!"
I giggled as they continued to argue about meaningless things. I had only been here for a few minutes but I felt a million times better than when I was with Rachel.
Khun's POV
(Y/n)'s laugh was so light and melodious. I was surprised that she hasn't found herself a boyfriend with her looks and cute personality. Damn, what was I saying?
Bam looked at me with a knowing smirk as I realised that I was staring at her face. *blushes slightly* I glared at him before walking away from the loud argument that Endorsi and Rak were having.
"W-whoa, Khun!"
I turned around only to catch (Y/n) in my arms. She immediately steadied herself and backed away as I suddenly realise that I had been holding her hand this whole time.
This caused everyone to look at us, but I could tell that they knew what was going on from the blush forming on (Y/n)'s cheeks.
"Hey Khun~" Endorsi started.
"She's nothing more than a doll. I don't need you guys spreading false rumours based on a couple of terrible assumptions."
"Hmm, we'll see about that," Shibisu replied with a smirk.
"Guys, cut it out. You know that Khun doesn't like to talk about his love life," said Bam.
"Not you too..."
I sighed heavily as I left the group to talk about their own fake assumptions that were never going to happen. (Y/n) was simply a tool...nothing less, nothing more...yet, my heart was already beginning to disagree with this obvious fact.
