Sebastian's POV
As I walked by the young master's side, I noticed a beautifully dressed young lady, who appeared to be troubled by what appeared to be a street gang.
Strange how I found myself walking towards her, unable to stop myself. She had caught my attention, even more so than the young master's vengeful soul.
"Sebastian, where are you going?" asked Ciel.
"I..."
He simply smirked at my unexpected actions and did nothing to stop me. Without a second thought, I headed towards the young lady.
The sunlight shone down on her figure as if it radiated from within her. The delicate features of her face were fixed upon one of worry and fear. The way she clasped her hands together and cast her eyes downwards made me feel very protective.
"Excuse me, Miss."
She looked up at the sound of my voice, making all the other thugs look my way. I simply smiled as they approached me. Unfortunately, one of them also grabbed the girl quite roughly by her arm, refusing to leave her alone.
"Whadda want?" asked the one with a few missing teeth.
"I would very much appreciate it if you could release the young lady. She seems quite uncomfortable with all of you wasting her precious time."
"Huh?! What was that?! What can a mere butler do about this? And why the hell do you care?"
"Mind telling me why you're troubling her?"
"What's wrong with playing with her? Her father sold her to us. That rich man no longer needed a useless coward of a daughter."
I looked at her directly in the eye. She immediately looked away.
"What are you doing, Sebastian? Hurry up, we need to go back to the manor," ordered the young master.

"Yes, my lord."
I swiftly grabbed the fat man who had taken the young miss and twisted his arm. He quickly let go of the girl and screamed in pain before cursing at me.
I picked the young lady up and grabbed Ciel before running off. They both clung on as I ran all the way back to the manor.
*sigh* I would've loved to kill those monstrous men but I was afraid that this girl was too pure to witness something like that.
"Alright, Sebastian. You have some explaining to do. And um..."
"(Y-(Y/n) (L/n)," replied the girl.
"I never knew Lord (L/n) had a daughter."
She simply looked away and fidgeted with her fingers. I stopped myself from reaching out to her and instead led them both inside, where we would talk things through.
~Some time later~
I was alone with Miss (Y/n) in the library. She seemed to show quite an interest in the books here so young master allowed her to stay.
She had thanked him for his hospitality but I knew his true intentions behind his actions. He just wanted to tease me in the near future. I sometimes do wonder what he found fun in doing so.
"Miss (Y/n), who are you?"
"H-huh?"
"Who are you? I know you introduced yourself as Lord (L/n)'s only daughter but who are you really?"
"*smiles* I guess I can't hide it from you."
"And you realised just now?"
"I...am a fallen angel, but not one that was cast out of heaven. I was born one and given to my 'father' to look after."
"I see."
"Being born as a fallen angel does not simply imply that I cannot go back to heaven. I also tend to 'release'...a scent that attracts demons, which indirectly forces them to obey my commands."

"Then..."
"Yes, that's right. I commanded you to save me."
She looked out the window and stared at the garden down below. I sat down beside her. Now that she mentioned it, there was a strange scent that had attracted me. But I could barely detect any now.
"My father abandoned me because I attracted too many demons. He couldn't deal with it," she exclaimed with a sad smile.
"Why not just stop attracting them then? Like you're doing now?"
"Sebastian, it's not that easy. I will grow weak and die if I force myself to defy the very reason I was born."
"How? How do you-"
"There's no way to stop this."
Her expression turned serious as she tightly clenched her fists. I suspected that something had happened in her past. I wonder what it was...
(Y/n)'s POV
No, I could not stop my fate. I did not want another incident again. I didn't want to die...yes, I was afraid of death. I didn't want to be engulfed by the corrupted darkness that hid just beyond my shadows.
I noticed Sebastian looking at me with an intense expression on his face. I tilted my head to the side and looked at him, confused.
"Miss (Y/n), if you don't mind me asking, why are you trying to keep your scent at bay? Who's sake are you doing this for?" he asked.
"Hmm? I would say that is obvious. Yours, of course."
"...mine?"
I nodded and smiled. Suddenly, he stood up and walked towards me. I leaned back in my chair as he inched closer to my face. *blush* W-what was he doing?!
"Are you sure you're doing this for my sake, Miss (Y/n)? Will you continue to even if I 'betray your trust' in me?" he asked in a low tone.
"I will."
He lifted my chin up and pressed his lips against mine. I almost gasped in shock as I pushed him away and stood up. He just smirked at my actions.
"Y-you..."
"I'm sorry, I just wanted to see your reaction. And besides, you're not the daughter of a lord but the daughter of an angel...a demon's enemy, is it not? I see no point in treating you as an equal even if you have good intents."
"I...see..."
But I still couldn't help but allow myself to get mad. How could he just do that to a girl?! I swear he was just like one of those stuck-up rich men.
"Sebastian, enough with teasing her. She does not need to have another pest annoying her," exclaimed the young earl.
"My apologies, young master," Sebastian replied with a bow.
"This is an order: cater to her every need and no tricks whatsoever."
"...yes, my lord."
Ciel simply smirked as he left. Sebastian was glaring daggers into his back, which I found somewhat laughable.
"This is not a laughing matter, Miss (Y/n)," he said.
"I'm sorry."
I couldn't help but laugh some more as he sighed in annoyance.
"Well then, Sebastian. I have something for you to do."
"What is it?"
"Become my friend."
"Yes- wait, your friend?"
"*smiles* Yes, my friend."

Necromancer and Co.
In a time before the existence of the present, the gods decided to create a plane of existence where all their creations could exist in the same place. In it, all would be fair, and all gaps between races and technological advancements could be crossed with a single system that the gods had created. Every year, the gods would choose a new race to put in their land, and in this new group of beautifully unlucky people, Alen, his friends, and a few people from Earth have finally met their turn to be tossed into the playground of the gods. Unfortunately though, Alen was thrust into a forest of corpse-eating bears and horribly smelly undead on his first day, one of the many danger-zones of the continent the gods had chosen to throw them in. It would be easy to say that he simply died within the first day, or that he'd starved to death or whatever, but let's be honest... That story would be no fun to tell, yes? (Re-write of my first fiction with the same name.)
