(A/N): Hey, I'm sorry if this doesn't meet your expectations. I hope this storyline is good enough, but please enjoy.
(Y/n)'s POV
I glared at the girl standing in front of me. This light-haired girl who I had once called a companion, a friend...a sister. She was no longer of any importance to me.
The brute force of her betrayal had broken and shattered my light. Now, I was left with nothing but darkness and despair. At least that was what I had thought.
The boy who had taken my hand had saved me from the evilness that threatened to overtake my body. I was on the verge of giving in, but he had brought me to a better place, a better reality.
"Rachel, I never want to see you again."
"...this is so unfair. (Y/n), we went down to the cave together to meet Bam! So why?! Why the hell are you siding with his friends?! I'm your sister!" she yelled angrily.
"No Rachel, you're not my sister anymore. You betrayed not only Bam, but me as well."
"How?! All I did was carve my own destiny! I won't let it go into the hands of someone like him!"
"...Rachel, that's enough. You may have not realised it but you've hurt (Y/n) far more than you've hurt me. And that's why...I cannot forgive you," Bam exclaimed.
He gave my hand a reassuring squeeze before leading me away from the girl who had broken our hearts. I refused to look back at her angered face, fearing that I may do something that I'd regret for life.
"Bam, if it's okay with you, I'd like to 'have some fun' with her," said Khun.
"...go ahead. She's no longer in my care so you don't need to ask for permission."

"*smirks* Thanks (Y/n)."
Bam and I left the others to look after Rachel and her so-called friends. I felt my hands shaking slightly as we sat down near a lake and looked at the artificial sky.
She was my sister. What have I done? Mother'd kill me for sure. She was going to tear my heart out for doing that to her favourite child. I shivered in fear of the terrors that awaited me.
But no, it was Rachel's fault. She was the one that sought us out after those many months. Everything was her fault, not mine...
"(Y/n), you don't have to worry anymore. I'll protect you," Bam said gently.
"...aren't you afraid? Don't you regret leaving Rachel?"
"Of course I'm afraid, but I don't regret anything. To me, you are far more important than her."
I felt my cheeks heat up at his sudden confession. His serious gaze was making it worse. I no longer knew how to act around him when he was making me fall hard.
The thumping in my heart grew faster and faster. I could no longer control myself as he leaned forward to kiss me. It was gentle and sweet, so very much like him.
I melted into the kiss, oblivious to our surroundings. He cupped my face before pulling away as a smile graced his innocent face.
"I love you, don't ever forget that," he exclaimed.
"*smiles* I love you too."
~Flashback~
Rachel and I climbed down into the dark cave, curious as to what we'd find. We didn't expect much, we were just exploring in the hope of passing the time that slowly flew past.
I helped her as we landed on the rough ground. There was nothing here...except for a boy around our age. He looked at us with wide, curious eyes to which I returned with a cheerful smile.

"Hello, I'm (Y/n) and this is my sister, Rachel."
"I-I'm Bam."
"Well, nice to meet you, Bam."
Rachel and I held our hands out. He hesitantly grabbed them before we all smiled at each other. The feeling in my heart was warm and pure...I never wanted this to end.
Yes, I had fallen for this boy who knew nothing of the cruel world above. His innocence and gentleness was like a haven for both Rachel and I. We felt at peace.
I now had the very thing that was keeping me sane in this harsh tower. That boy was everything to me and nothing could ever replace him.
~Flashback end~
"Bam, I'm glad I met you down in that dark cave."
"Yeah, me too. You were like a star that came down from the light. I don't want to lose you because then I'd be devoured by the darkness..."
"Bam..."
"But that won't ever happen. I'm never gonna leave your side."
"*smiles* Neither will I leave yours."
I leaned my head against his shoulders before closing my eyes. The sky had already darkened, indicating the final hours of the day we had left.
I was growing more and more tired as each minute passed by. Soon enough, I let sleep overtake me.
Bam's POV
I positioned myself so that I was leaning against the tree with (Y/n) lying fast asleep on my chest. Her hands were no longer shaking...I was glad.
She didn't need to suffer. She didn't need to fight the darkness...because I'd be there. I would be there to save her whenever she was in trouble.
~Flashback~
"R-Rachel, what do you think you're doing?" asked (Y/n).
"Come with me. Abandon him and come with me," Rachel replied while reaching out her hand.
"I...I..."
(Y/n)'s eyes were filled with a sorrowful look as she was forced to choose between me and Rachel. It was true that she had betrayed and hurt me...but I worried for (Y/n).
"Come on, I'n your sister. I did this for your sake!" yelled Rachel.
"...no," (Y/n) replied coldly.
"What...did you just say?"
"No, I won't go with you. You hurt Bam and that's like a stab to my heart. I can't go with you because then you'll just kill me in the end. Even if you are my sister, I cannot forgive the people that hurt those close to me."
"You traitor! I hate you!"
"Traitor? I think you have it the other way around."
(Y/n) threw a large, slender spear towards her sister. Her abilities as a spear bearer were incredible even though she wasn't from one of the ten great families.
I wondered how the two sisters could be so different in looks, personality and strengths. Were they actually related by blood or were they just deluded into thinking that?
Rachel's lighthouse barrier shattered by the mere force of (Y/n)'s spear. It zoomed past Rachel's shoulders and hit the wall behind her. (Y/n) had missed on purpose. I have never seen her miss her mark once.
"Rachel, don't ever show your face to me again. I won't go with you no matter how much you beg," (Y/n) exclaimed.
I ignored Rachel's pleading look as (Y/n) led me away. I was just glad...glad to be with the girl that I grew to love more than anyone.
~Flashback end~
"Hey Bam, let's go back," said Endorsi.
I nodded and picked (Y/n) up. We got on the ship, leaving all those that no longer mattered behind.
I didn't need them anymore and neither did (Y/n). We'd forget about them and start anew, without past shadows actualising as our enemies.
