Sketch:

"Wow! Look at those trees! They're so big! Orion I see the dome! It's huge!!" I shouted, my nose pressed up against the cool glass, as my breath fanned the window in misty pants.

"I know little one, we'll be there shortly." he said just glancing up briefly to look at me before looking back down at his papers.

"What's it like?" I asked curiously, referring to the dome and what it looks like inside.

"It's very big and lively. The palace is large, but the ruler I left in charge isn't doing too great so I'll have some cleaning up to do,"

"I see, so you're gonna hurt him?" I asked.

"No, but I'll replace him with Xanthe. You see this is the second biggest dome, and the only other person I can trust is Xanthe. However, the biggest dome isn't far from here either, and I rule that one over there. I have about one hundred to maintain and control. About ten are manufacturing and farms for the humans food."

"Where is Xanthe?" I asked wondering if they left around the same time we did.

I heard that Sam was caught somehow and Xanthe locked them both in his room for a while. Orion just shrugged so I turned back to the window to look at the pretty trees and sky. My fingers danced along the glass, drawing a heart into the fogged up space from my breath. I smiled back at Orion who was writing something down before taking my pinky and drawing an O and a S in the middle. I smiled at it, looking back to see if he was watching.

"Sam and Xanthe are working some things out before they come."

He smiled at me, motioning for me to come close to him. I walked over and climbed into his lap, till I was practically nose and nose to him.

"You're so precious." he whispered, brushing my hair with his fingers. I smiled at him, wrapping my arms around his neck and pecking his lips before climbing down and running back over to the window.

Eren was sleeping in the other car, but I wish he would see how amazing this was. I looked over the trees and forests, frowning to myself.

"Where are you taking my friends?" I asked.

"To a safe place, I promise Sketch we're protecting them," I nodded, tracing my fingers down the window.

I wonder if they really will be safe.

We had stopped between the dome and the inside. Orion had to talk to a lot of people but before I knew it we were inside the dome. And the sight took my breath away. It was cloudy outside with some sunlight seeping on the inside. The streets were crowded, with shops everywhere. Humans, all human and I was practically glued to window wanting to know if they were okay.

They looked fine, and most were smiling or laughing as they bought stuff or crossed the street. I could see a pregnant lady walk into a furniture store, or a young girl and her parents buy some candy.

It was weird, lots of people were smiling while others were frowning. It was a bunch of mixed expressions, from sad to happy.

I wanted to go outside and be with other contact. It looked cold and a soft snow was falling down. I didn't know how that was possible since it was spring time.

The train came to a stop and I smiled rushing over to Orion who was talking to someone. I tugged at his shirt and he looked down, picking me up in his arms.

"Let's get you dressed into something warm, okay?" he asked and I nodded.

I nodded, letting him carry me into the other room. He dressed me in a warm coat and a scarf and gloves. The boots he put on my feet were warm and he made sure I had a hat on my head before we stepped outside.

It wasn't that cold but it was still enough for the wind to bite my cheeks. The snow was soft as it fell. The people had stopped what they were doing to look at the Vampire King. Orion picked me up and carried me through the crowd. It was as if they were shocked to see the oh so powerful vampire and had stopped talking. Everything has gone silent and only one thing came to mind, I waved.

Everyone looked scared...shocked, I wasn't sure. Orion kissed my cheek, going through the silent crowd.

"Can we look around?" I asked breaking through the silence like a knife.

"Maybe later, we first have to greet the people." he said.

"Okay,"

A car had picked us up at the end of the road, and we started our drive into the direction of the large palace. We passed huge buildings that looked perfectly fine as if the world war didn't even come near them. It had people everywhere and they all looked healthy, and fine. I wanted to go walk around see how people enjoyed this, or if they were miserable.

I wanted to know if they were scared of the vampires or were okay or at least a little happy. It bummed me out to see so many humans trapped but if they were a little bit okay with it then it would make me okay with it too. The car ride was short and we were inside the amazing palace before I knew it.

It was huge but I couldn't tell if it was bigger than Orion's castle. There were manly vampires on the inside but I stood tall and powerful even if I looked like an idiot with all my extra clothing on that a vampire wouldn't need.

Before I knew it we were in a very large room, with thrones, let me add two, at the very end with the throne higher than the ground. He led us over to the two huge thrones, turning to me and taking off my coat, hat and gloves. I kicked off my boots, and sat down on the throne, resting my hands on the sides.

He chuckled, kissing my head and sitting down on the other throne. "I could get used to this," I said and he chuckled. A servant carried away my winter things, and he grabbed my hand in his.

"Who are we meeting?" I asked.

"Some of the people, I need to see how good the others are treating them."

I nodded watching as the doors opened a man came in with a teenage girl. They approached and bowed before standing before us. I smiled at them which earned a few looks of surprise from them.

"Do you like the conditions that you're living in or do you have any concerns?" Orion asked.

"Yes, our house was taken after my wife died, and my daughter and I were forced out. They said our house was too big for only two people and needed the house for other families," he exclaimed and I looked at Orion to make this right.

"You're house will be given back, or I can promise you a house on the other side of the dome, with warmer weather," he said and the father looked at the daughter and she nodded.

"We will take the warmer climate, Sire," the man said with a a huge smile.

"Thank you for bringing this to me, and hope your house is nice and big for the both of you," Orion said.

"That was nice of you," I said after the two left.

"It's what I do, Sketch." Orion said and I nodded.

It continued to go for a while until the day reached dusk and my eyes were drooping from being tired. Orion picked me up after we were finished and carried us to a room of solitude. The bed was cozy and warm but I wasn't ready to go to sleep just yet. I opened up the sliding door of the room and stepped out into the cool night. The city was alive with lights and people everywhere.

"You're going to get a cold, Sketch!" Orion exclaimed and I rolled my eyes.

"I don't care it's nice out here," I said and he sighed pulling me back into his chest.

"The bath is down the hall if you want to go," he said and turned and nodded. We walked down to the bath area which was basically one large bath that was personally for Orion. Almost like a hot tub, but with bubbles and I mean soapy bubbles.

I jumped in first splashing Orion who was already half undressed. He grabbed my waist and pulled me close to him, kissing my forehead softly.

"Sketch, I want to talk to you about something," Orion said, taking the rose scented body gel and wiping my chest.

"What?" I asked.

"I was wondering if you want to be my queen, or if you prefer, my king. I want you to be by my side at all times and be with me forever?"

I looked up at him and traced his cheek bone, smiling.

"Really?" I asked

"Really," he confirmed.

I nodded, "I would love too! I would have a throne and be with you all the time!" he chuckled at me excitement.

"I love you Sketch,"

"I love you too Orion," I whispered smiling wide.

He then smashed his lips on mine and it was the best feeling I ever had right there in his arms. He tasted good, was that weird? I didn't think it was. I guess this is what love feels like and I couldn't be happier.
