Sketch:

Pulling up to the large castle was something so could only describe as something of a fairy tale. I wasn't really paying attention to anyone else, other than the outside realm, failing to acknowledge Orion who glanced up at me occasionally from his book. Just like me, Erin was glued up to the window, more amazed by the sight of the outside world than anything else. The sight was beautiful, unlike anything I had seen. Green trees stretched on forever contrasting nicely against the bright blue sky. The sun smiled behind fruitful clouds, washing away the pain in the world.

"Erin, can you give me and Sketch a minute?" Orion asked wrapping his arms around me.

Erin nodded, gazing at the sky one last time before leaving the car in silence. I gazed at Orion, sitting back down on his lap in an attempt to keep his attention on me.

"Babycakes, I know how much you miss your brother but it'll take time before he can control his thirst. I need you to be patient and listen to everything I say so you do not get hurt. You understand, right?"

I nodded along to his words, gazing lazily at the stubble on his chin. Could what he said be the truth? He didn't seem all that different when I talked to him last.

"Can I go see him now?" I asked.

"You can see him as soon as you give me a kiss." he said, which made me blush.

I turned around to straddle him, switching views between his lips and eyes. He gripped my hips as I laid a soft peck on his lips, letting him take the pace as we deepened it. His mouth was warm against mine, enlightened a fire in the pit of my stomach. He withdrew from the kiss leaving me flushed and panting, but nonetheless he was smirking at me.

"C-can we go inside now?" I asked slightly aroused and at the same time embarrassed that he can do these things to me.

He just nodded letting go of me so we could get out of the car. I climbed out first with Mr. Bear in hand but I waited for Orion to get out before we began walking inside. I was still a little embarrassed but he didn't seem fazed.

The inside wasn't like anything I had ever seen before, a stone based wall and floor like something out of dungeon. It was definitely creepy with its old fashioned castle theme, but I didn't think much on it after that. I heard voices come from the other room and I was more than excited wanting to know who it was, but Orion made me stop and sit down on a wooden bench that was on the side of me.

I could hear the voices better now on the bench and I was feeling even happier after hearing Sam's voice.

"Remember what I told you." Orion reminded me and I just nodded, preoccupied with the thought that Sam was in the other room. Orion smiled lightly, grabbing my hand so we could walk into the other room together.

We turned the corner slowly, and despite my arm tugging away at his, he didn't move any faster. My eyes landed on him first, and then my smile proceeded in line. He sat amount plush pillows on a couch, his face and body glued to the vampire next to him. I glared at Orion's so called brother, stopping in place when I saw how uncomfortable my brother looked.

"Sam!" I shouted, disregarding the older vampires grip on my brother, quickening my pace to see him. My brother, in less than a second escaped the older vampires grip and hugged me.

"Look at you Sketch, you grew an inch or two!"

I smiled ear to ear, looking back at Orion who didn't mention this earlier. "Really?" I asked and he just nodded.

Erin was sitting on the couch, along with every other member of Orion's family which made me cringe. I snuggled Mr. Bear tighter to my chest and scowled at the famous duo. The twins sat on either side of my tutor who looked nervous as crap, as they beamed at me with that sadistic smirk. I jumped behind Sam, too afraid to look at them right now. Xelia looked bored and yet ready to rip someone's head off, hopefully not mine.

"If it isn't little Sketch..." Ethan got up and circled me, seeing as Xanthe had snatched my brother up. Orion went to tend to something, forgetting that he left me alone in a room full of vampires! Ean circled me from the other side and I did the only thing reasonable, I ran away.

This was probably a stupid idea, since vampires were predators who liked when humans ran, and I found myself in the next moment snatched up by one of them as the other smiled in front of me with his fangs extended.

I looked up at him with fear striking me hard as the one holding me covered my mouth so I couldn't scream. Ean grabbed Mr. Bear and threw him behind him.

"Guys stop messing with him, you're scaring him." someone said, probably Ducky. But the warnings of their other brother didn't reach them and they continued their attack on me. Ean smirked at me, leaning toward me with his fangs fully extended and ready to bite.

It wasn't till a few seconds later that Orion had showed up and rescued me from my little nightmare, telling them to knock it off. I hugged Orion's side not wanting to be separated from him again. He gave me back Mr. Bear, as I heard the twins snickers and laughs. I pouted to no one in particular, walking along wth Orion to the other room.

"We have a meeting in a few minutes, so let's get on with it, shall we?" Orion asked to his family and they all reluctantly got up including Erin and my brother. We sat at a very large table in another room, a much larger room than the last.

Everyone else sat down, and so did a few other people I didn't recognize. I watched as Orion started talking about the problems involving the elites and other issues that I couldn't keep up with, but as you could tell none of that really mattered to me.

"Then what do you think we should do?"

"Nothing." Orion said, getting a worried gaze from everyone in the room.

"What?! Are you insane? We can't lose anymore humans, and we could possibly endanger the newborns."

"I can handle that." Orion told him.

"I'm sure! Just like how our queen will be human! You really are stupid if you think the vampires won't uprise against you!"

The room suddenly got cold, and out of discomfort, I shifted in my seat, finding out that the table had a really nice placemat.

Orion laughed looking over at the vampire who had just called him stupid. "Your queen is human and will be, until he decides otherwise. Calling a King stupid and better yet the most powerful vampire in the whole world stupid, was a very dumb move...but I do not want to discuss that I front of my queen, since he is the most precious to me."

I looked over at Orion at smiled, at least ninety nine percent sure he was talking about me. He smiled back and grabbed my hand in his, so I knew he was talking about me.

"We will be leaving tomorrow morning at dawn, and that is all I have to say. However, I would like the twins to stay back, and you as well Sir." He told the man who argued with him before turning back to everyone else. "Thank you all for coming."

The twins smirked at each other before smirking at the guy who called Orion stupid. Orion picked me up and carried me out of the room after everyone else exited. I didn't want to know what was going to happen to that guy. But I did know that the sadistic twins were not someone to mess with.

What Orion said earlier was it really true? Would he really let me decide if I wanted to become one of them? I could spend the rest of my life with him and see Sam. I would say that drinking blood would be gross but I already do it, and I know that Sam drinks Xanthe's blood, even if it's weird. I'm pretty sure Orion already feeds me his blood, since he never told me what I was drinking I just assumed.

Orion hugged me close to his side, before bending down to whisper in my ear.

"Tonight we'll be eating with our family," he whispered referring to Sam and his.

I just nodded, letting him lead me up the stairs in a daze. I immediately dove in amongst the covers on the bed, the long journey on the train starting to take affect.

"I'll wake you when it's time to for dinner, okay?"

I just nodded, letting my eyes close and letting my dreams of being with Orion forever ease me into sleep.

"Sammy, are we ever gonna see mommy and daddy again?" I asked, moving my head to look up at my older brother.

He looked at me with sad eyes but softly smiled. "Of course we are, they are just waiting till the war stops and all."

I just nodded, believing that I really would see my parents again. He told me to go to sleep, but I had to ask one more question.

"Can I help out tomorrow?" I asked.

"Just go to sleep, I will tell you in the morning." I nodded, and laid my head on the stingy pillow, falling asleep to the sound of the bed creaking and the sound of the wind hitting the side of the house.

Only if Sammy was telling the truth.
