《Human Race (Boyxboy) #1》Chapter Seventeen: Stealing a Witch*

I already knew I would do anything for him, just the way he smiled, giggled, and talked was enough to make me fall for him. If he asked I would probably grant his every wish, well maybe. Not everything of course, for example, if he wanted to go back home, I possibly couldn't accept that. He had me wrapped around his little finger, and he had no idea. He was so beautiful laying there, I couldn't help but run my hands down his delicate body.
His lips parted and made the most heavenly moan I have ever heard.
I sighed pulling the covers up to his chin, smiling softly. He sighed in content also, and rolled over on his stomach. I got up, and walked to the large doors, but not before giving him on last glance over my shoulder. I exited the room, feeling the loss of his presence immediately.
Tonight I would find Alice, the witch that almost ruined everything but luckily she failed in her plan.
The humans were out in numbers as if they were celebrating something but I knew there was no time for that.
"Sam and Riley have left for the dome, and despite the danger they are in search of Sketch."
"Conner, why didn't they consult with me? Sketch would not be inside the dome, he would be inside Orion's Castle. Sketch has unnatural beauty, and anyone would want to have him." That was Alice, the know it all witch. Not like it was that important that she figured it out, actually I should give her credit for doing so.
One by one the humans started going their separated ways as the sun set for the night, and I only waited a few minutes at most before the only a few ones were left (including Alice). I waved my hand and the humans fell one by one including the witch herself. Her magic was too slow for her and my own ability out did her in a matter of seconds.
I made it to the castle when the sun started to rise, a little after the first bird sung its song for the morning.
After securing everything, I decided going back to check on Sketch was the best thing I could do at the moment.
When I opened the doors I was surprised to see no sleeping angel but instead found something that will never be erased from my mind.
He was sitting on the windowsill in nothing but his cute underwear, with a blanket wrapped around his small body to keep him warm. I noticed his nightgown was on the floor in a small pile, right next to a knocked over bottle of blood not even a sip missing.

The only thing missing were two wings and he could have easily become an angel. He didn't hear me until I closed the door, his reaction time a little slow but I didn't blame him, humans weren't known to be active in the morning. His beautiful blue eyes locked with mine, he smiled, pulling the blanket tighter over him.
"The nightgown was itchy, can I wear something else?" he asked.
"Of course, what would my Sketch want to wear instead?" I asked.
"Anything that isn't scratchy." He said as if it were obvious and even if he used that tone with me his little attitude was what made him so cute.
As eight hit the bell a maid sprung forth from the doors, wheeling in her cart to serve her temporary Master, or so she thought. She picked up the fallen and forgotten items on the floor that Sketch just couldn't be bothered with it seemed. Maybe I'll teach him some manners later but for now it was just the matter of him getting used to all of this and well me of course.
"Get him something softer in material, nothing scratchy." I said sternly hinting the last part toward Sketch so he knew all his demands would be answered and she nodded quickly, taking back the fabric.
She left his morning meal on the cart and bowed before leaving to tend to all the many things a human could do in a day.
"Why do all the others wear those metal things around their necks?" he asked softly. "Have they done something bad?"
"Nothing of the sort, Sketch. You shouldn't worry your pretty little head over some strangers," I said pouring a full glass for him to have, "here drink."
"Will I wear one?"
"No, you have me to protect you."
He smiled, and brought the glass up to his lips even though he hated it, and sipped the thicker liquid slowly.
Soon enough a new set of clothes were delivered and it wasn't even two seconds before he jumped up off the sill to put them on.
"I want my bear, can I have it now?" he asked.
"Does it mean that much to you?"
"Of course, my parents gave it to me."
I chuckled and pulled him closer, suddenly remembering that humans were very warm.
Our eyes met once again, his blue eyes concentrating on mine and I didn't mind in the slightest that I was getting lost within them. Without thinking of consequences either it be good or bad I leaned in to capture his soft pink lips with mine. I heard a small gasp when our mouths met, a flutter of pride making way when he welcomed me without a resisting pull. Taking Sketch by surprise, I pressed my tongue against his unresisting parting licking and sucking the sweet crevice of his mouth. A whimper pressed against my lips, a soft sound that fueled my inner beast.

His knees crumbled underneath him but I was there to catch him as I always will be. Sketchs' face was unforgettable, flushed cheeks that took the shade of light pink, round about blue curious eyes, and a wet redden mouth panting out small puffs of air.
"Was that you first kiss?" I asked and he nodded shyly burying his embarrassed face into my chest.
Just when thing were getting good a knock interrupted us, so of course I had to pull away and open the damn door.
Once I saw who was on the other side I slammed the damn thing closed. I wasn't in the mood to deal with such people at the moment, no at the moment I craved something a little more angelic.
"Orion!"
I turned back to my craving but he seemed unfazed by the previous moment we shared, emitting no hormone like he was before.
Sketch wasn't standing in the spot I left him, actually he was digging through my dresser looking for something but knew exactly what it was.
I grabbed the bear from the top drawer and handed it to the little runt.
"You made the right choice." he said with a cute smirk.
"You like bears that much?"
"I like all animals." he said. " I love dogs, especially Sparky. I wish I could see him."
"Hmmm. Well I've got no choice but to show you. We have a dog here too, you want to see him?"
Sketch nodded excitedly, and jumped up for the surprise I had in tow.
Once I made sure the she devil was not on the other side of the door I pulled us both out from the room. Sneaking around in my own castle was shameful but since they were back I had no choice.
"Why are all the drapes purple?"
"I don't know."
"Do you like purple?"
"Yes."
"Where are we?" he asked, detaching himself from me.
"Why do you ask so many questions?" he smiled at that skipping ahead of me.
"Why don't you have enough answers?" He actually had the nerve to smirk at me, but I could only take that as a playful dare.
I opened the locked room preventing Sketch from seeing what was inside just yet.
Cerberus wasn't your ordinary dog, he was a huge mutant puppy that loved to play. The problem with that is a simple one, Cerberus hated humans, and knowing Sketch wouldn't be welcomed I still took the chance to show Sketch such a creature. Cerberus was technically a dog, despite his three heads and monster like form he still had all the qualities to one.
Sketch ran past me disregarding my warning and ran up to the huge puppy, clearly in the mood to play.
Just when I thought the beast will growl and bark at the little human, Cerberus does the opposite and bends his head low for Sketch to pet him.
"Unbelievable." I mutter under my breath. In less than thirty seconds, Sketch had made friends with a hybrid dog, when he utterly hates humans!
Sketch started to pet his head, which Cerberus loves more than anything. Too bad really, with his master away all the time who will give him belly rubs? Not that his master had any choice, my brother was busy with work after all.
Sketch smiled cutely at the beast and ran over to the toy bin that was left over on the right side. He grabbed a larger ball and threw the ball with all his might, which wasn't that far, and the ball bounced it's way over to the corner. Cerberus of course, took off after it, whipping past Sketch fast enough to make him fall down.
I quickly rushed over to him, thinking he might be broken, but he got up and smiled. "Can we take him outside?"
I chuckled at cute face and picked him up so he could stand on two feet. "No way, he might damage something, or hurt someone." I said, which made my small angel pout, but quickly got over it and ran back over to the beast with a smile. He grabbed the rope, which was used for tug-of-war.
Sketch played with him for a while, and I could see the beast fall in love already, occasionally licking the side of his face or nudge him softly. Unfortunately, Sketch still had to learn and I had to work, which cut our time short.
"Sketch it's time to go, come on." I said softly, making Cerberus whine. However, Sketch grabbed my hand with no protest, and started to walk out of the arena and down the hall. I dropped Sketch off with the tutor, before going back down the same hallway I came.
It was time to visit Alice.
