《Sinful |Klaus Mikaelson||》The Memorial

Audrey was just about to step out of Klaus's mansion when his arms pulled her back in. "Leaving so soon?" Klaus teased kissing her neck. Ever since last night they hadn't been able to stop their urges for each other. Every glance, every touch had them lusting after one another and nothing seemed quench their thirst.

"As much as I love spending time with you, I have a sister who needs me," Audrey giggled. She turned in Klaus's arms and smiled up at him. When she looked up at him she couldn't help but feel that warmth begin to spread. He was so handsome. Slowly, she grazed her fingers along his face and blushed when her body heated up more.

"Are you sure you need to go?" Klaus smirked knowing exactly what she felt. She nodded but her eyes were stuck on his lips. He smirked and leaned down to kiss her. His hands moved down her body and before Audrey could be consumed by lust again she pushed herself away from him.

"I'm absolutely sure. If I stay here another minute I'm going to turn into your sex slave," Audrey smirked backing out of the mansion. "And that just can't happen,"

"I think that sounds like a lovely idea," Klaus said leaning against the door frame.

"Yeah, yeah," Audrey rolled her eyes and made her way to her car.

"Oh before I forget, I'm leaving town for the night," Klaus called out casually. Audrey stopped in her tracks.

"Why?" She questioned crossing her arms over her chest and turning around to face her soulmate.

"Business, nothing for you to worry about, love," Klaus smiled.

"Oh really?" She cocked an eyebrow at him. His smiled widened. "Just be safe, I guess,"

"I always am," Klaus said. Audrey rolled her eyes and turned back around to leave. Klaus watched her go and couldn't help but smile to himself. She was the star to his once dark life.

As Audrey stepped inside her house she felt uneasy. It was too quiet. "Hello?" She called out cautiously. She turned to go into the kitchen but jumped when Damon popped in front of her. "Jesus Christ, Damon! Don't do that!" She yelled smacking him in the chest.

"Sorry, little bird," Damon smirked. "By the way, you reek of sex and Klaus. Classy,"

"Do I detect jealousy?" Audrey tsk'd playfully trying to hide her embarrassment.

"Please, try disgust," Damon scoffed. "We both know I'm way better than that asshole anyways. Not my fault you chose not to find out," Audrey smiled at her friend and nudged him.

"Where's Elena?" Audrey asked.

"Over at my place," Damon smirked. Audrey cocked an eyebrow at him. "With Stefan, don't worry. She can't keep down bambi's blood, which doesn't surprise me. She needs to drink from the vein. It's what vampires do,"

"Damon, you know how she is. Besides, she's in an extremely delicate state right now," Audrey sighed. "Klaus told me that newborn vampires are super unpredictable because of their heightened emotions. One wrong move could potentially set her off,"

"I didn't realize Klaus taught vampire 101," Damon sneered.

"He's one of the oldest vampires in the world, Damon. He knows everything about everything," Audrey said back. She moved to her bedroom and Damon followed her closely.

"So did he compel you to finally let him hit it?" Damon smirked. Audrey picked up a teddy bear from her bed and threw it at him. "What?"

"I willingly gave myself to him," Audrey smirked. "Wanna hear all the details?" Damon jumped stomach first onto her bed and leaned his chin on his hands.

"Girl, tell me everything. Is he well endowed? Was it the best sex of your life or what?" Damon teased in a girly voice. Audrey giggled and laid down beside him. Damon flipped on his back and pulled Audrey closer to him. It wasn't unusual for the duo to cuddle occasionally. Every time either one of them felt sad or upset they would resolve their problems with movies and cuddles.

"What's on your mind, Damon Salvatore?" Audrey questioned softly.

"What do you think? The same thing that's always on my mind," Damon huffed.

"Elena," Him and Audrey said together. Audrey sighed and cuddled further into her friend's chest. "What do you think Klaus would do if he were to walk in right now?"

"Honestly? Probably kill you," Audrey laughed. "Or at least he'd try to. I wouldn't let that happen though. I love you too much,"

Damon placed a hand on his chest and faked a sniffle. "My cold dead heart is touched,"

"Shut up," Audrey laughed, hitting his chest. "How do you always do that? Make me laugh when I'm upset,"

"I'd do anything to see that smile," Damon chuckled. Audrey smiled and stayed in his arms for a little longer before sitting up.

"Okay, it's getting too lovey dovey for me," She said standing up. "I don't know about you, but I'm hungry,"

"Me too. Were you offering yourself to me or-," Damon began but got cut off by a pillow being thrown at him. Audrey shook her head at the vampire and headed towards her bathroom.

"After I'm done showering wanna grab a bite at the grill?" She asked pulling off her shirt. Damon's eyes lingered on her half naked body for a few moments too long. She seemed so much more confident with herself now and he loved it. He didn't realize he hadn't answered her question until she was snapping her fingers at him. "Really Damon? Stop staring at my chest,"

"Don't undress in front of me then," Damon smirked. "And to answer your question, sure," Audrey let out a laugh and headed for the bathroom again. After she shut the door it didn't take long for the shower to turn on. Damon stayed on her bed and stared up at her ceiling. Everything was changing so fast. Elena was now a vampire, Audrey was in love with the enemy, and Damon was still fighting with his brother over a girl. Why couldn't everything had turned out simple for him? Once Audrey was out of the shower and dressed her and Damon went to the grill. They sat at the bar, Audrey on Damon's left because he always kept the seat on his right open for Alaric. The duo was at the bar for a total of 5 minutes before Sheriff Forbes was storming over to them. She pulled out the chair beside Damon but he was quick to stop her. "That seat's taken," He grumbled. Sheriff Forbes shot Audrey a look before slamming a newspaper down in front of Damon. Damon picked it up and read the front page headline. "Faulty gas line leads to tragic explosion at Young Farm," He threw the paper back down. "Really?"

"Better than, 'Town Council blown up. Police have no suspects.' Unless the perpetrator is right next to me," Liz stares at Damon while he takes a swig from his drink.

"Well, don't look at me. I always take credit for killing people," Damon smirked.

"Damon, did you do it?" Audrey questioned her friend. He looked over at her and smiled softly.

"Of course not, if I was going to kill twelve people, I wouldn't have blown them up. I would've had a dinner party," Damon explained. "The council's dead, Aud. I see that as a win,"

"I've known some of the council since I was a kid. They were my friends," Liz said sadly.

"Well, your friends tried to kill your daughter," Damon pointed out. He glanced at Liz and saw a man approaching them. "Who's the new guy?" He asked. Liz turned around right as the man stopped in front of her.

"Excuse me, Sheriff. Hi um, I was wondering if I could speak to you for a moment about the explosion at the Young farm," The man said kindly. Audrey saw right through him though, so did Damon.

"I'm sorry, Mr....," Liz trailed off.

"Oh. Connor Jordan," Connor greeted, holding out his hand. Damon notices the black glove on his hand and immediately gets suspicious. Liz takes his hand and smiles. "Are you with the insurance investigators?"

"No, no, I'm more of an independent contractor," Connor smiles. He glances at Audrey and Damon and frowns. "Can we speak in private?"

"Sure," Liz said.

"Thanks," Connor said walking away. Liz gives Damon once last look before following the mysterious man.

"Nice to meet you too, Mr Busybody Guy," Damon grumbles. Audrey chuckles and takes a sip from her drink. "What do you think he's up to?"

"Nothing good," Audrey mumbled.

"Agreed," Damon sighed.

Audrey left Damon at the bar after Jeremy called and asked her to help unpack memorial lanterns. The moment she arrived at the school she made a beeline for her brother. The moment she saw him she jumped into his arms. "Awe Jer bear. I missed you,"

"Aud, you're acting like I haven't seen you in years," Jeremy laughed. "What's gotten into you?"

"Can't I be happy to see my baby brother?" She asked defensively, cocking an eyebrow at the boy. Jeremy smirked and pulled her in for another hug.

"Of course you can, but it's just not usual to be so happy after a tragedy," Jeremy laughed.

"Well, considering the council kidnapped me and tried to kill me, I don't feel sorry for them," Audrey scoffed.

"God, doesn't she sound exactly like Damon?" Jeremy asked Matt as he moved his arm around his sister's neck to hold her in a headlock. "We should keep you away from him. He's becoming a bad influence,"

"Jer!" Audrey shouted trying to push him off of her. Jeremy laughed at her struggle and eventually released her. "What are these again?" Audre asked pulling out one of the lanterns.

"They're paper lanterns. The student council made them for after the Memorial. We light them up in honor of all the dead," Matt explained.

"Nobody thought fire might be a little inappropriate?" Audrey asked cocking an eyebrow.

"Yeah, I wouldn't make that crack in front of Elena," Jeremy smirked. Audrey rolled her eyes at him.

"How is she?" Matt asked.

"I guess she's fine, considering," Jeremy sighed eying his sister.

"If there's anything I can do, you know, short of giving her a ride, you'll let me know, right? I'm only alive because she told Stefan to save me first. She's a vampire because of me, so I'd like to pay it back or forward or whatever," Matt said with guilt. Audrey smiled and walked over to him, wrapping her arms around him.

"Of course, Matty," Audrey smiled. Matt smiled down at her and embraced her tightly. Jeremy shook his head at the two and went to grab another box.

"Jeremy?" A voice called out. Everyone turned to see a pretty young girl bounding towards them. Jeremy looks at her with confusion. "Picture an emo pixie cut and braces,"

"April?!" Jeremy said in shock.

"Yeah," She smiled widely. Audrey looked at the girl with wide eyes.

"Audrey you remember April Young? Elena used-," Jeremy began.

"Elena used to babysit her," Audrey finished. She moved out of Matt's arms and walked towards April. She wrapped her arms around the girl and pulled her in for a hug. "You look great!"

"Thanks! I haven't seen you guys since before my dad shipped me off to boarding school," She laughed. Audrey pulled away and frowned sadly.

"Your dad. Oh my god, I'm so sorry about your dad," Jeremy apologized.

"Thank you. I guess I sort of don't know how to answer when people say that," April admitted.

"Your dad was Pastor Young right?" Matt questioned.

"He had the faulty gas line," April answered awkwardly. Everyone grew quiet and Matt looked down.

"Sorry, I haven't figured out what to say about that either. Wow, I'm being a freak. Um...I'm just, you know, not much for grief. I guess. I have to go register or something I think," She rambles nervously. She turns and quickly walks away muttering "Stupid." To herself.

"She's cute," Audrey admired, eyeing her younger brother. Jeremy shook his head at her and nudged her. "What? You've been out of the game for a while baby bro. It's time to get back out there," Matt laughed and slung an arm around the girl.

"I mean, she's not wrong, Jer," Matt agreed.

"Whatever, can we get back to unpacking these things?" Jeremy muttered, annoyed. Audrey and Matt shared a smile before returning to unpacking.

Audrey was examining herself in the mirror trying to figure out if the dress she was wearing was appropriate or not. There was a whoosh behind her and suddenly she was met with brilliant blue eyes. "Opinion?"

"Hot, but no," Damon smirked. Audrey rolled her eyes and moved her hair to her shoulder.

"Unzip me," She said meeting his eyes in the mirror again. Damon stepped forward and slowly brought the zipper down her back. Audrey stripped the dress off her body and slipped into the next one. Damon helped zip her up and stared at her reflection. She looked stunning. She seemed to be glowing.

"Something's different about you," He mumbled.

"A good different, I hope," Audrey giggled turning to face her friend.

"Of course," Damon smiled. "Now lets go rock this funeral, babe,"

"Lead the way, handsome," She laughed looping her arm through his. Damon chuckled before walking them out of her room.
