I love you.
Klaus froze completely. Had she actually just said those words? He finally got himself together and finished pulling off his shirt. He stared down at her but didn't say anything. "I love you," She said again. Klaus wanted to say it back, but how could he if he's never felt love before? He knew that what he felt for Audrey was something brilliant and pure, but was it love? Audrey saw his troubled face and gently placed her hand against his chest. "It's okay. You don't have to say it back if you're not ready," Klaus smiled but didn't say anything as he swooped down to capture her lips with his. Everything felt right in that moment. Both of them were too strung out on the adrenaline of almost losing each other that they didn't think and just acted on impulse. Klaus kissed down her jaw and neck until he reached her collar bone. He smirked against her skin when he heard her thundering heartbeat. He worked his way down to her jeans and ever so slowly he unbuttoned them and pulled them down her legs. She felt like she couldn't catch her breath. The way his breath was hitting her skin made goosebumps erupt all over her. He kissed her hipbone and she bucked slightly. "Klaus I'm...I've never done this before," She admitted embarrassingly.
"I know, love," Klaus replied. "I'll take care of you,"
"Niklaus!" Elijah called out loudly. Audrey froze while Klaus continued his assault on her skin, unbothered by his brother's presence. "Klaus!"
"Klaus, stop," Audrey finally managed to breathe out.
"Elijah will leave eventu-," He was cut off mid sentence by a knock at the door.
"I know you're in there, Niklaus," Elijah chuckled. "Detach yourself from Audrey for one moment so we can speak. It's important," Klaus groaned with annoyance while Audrey was still in shock. She couldn't comprehend that Elijah had actually interrupted them. Klaus climbed off the bed and angrily stepped outside of the room. Audrey eventually composed herself and slipped on Klaus's shirt. The moment was ruined and she didn't expect it to flare again after being humiliated like that. As she stepped out of the room she couldn't find Elijah or Klaus so she ventured down to the kitchen. She was in the middle of making herself food when two arms wrapped around her waist.
"That was a quick talk," Audrey giggled.
"It wasn't anything I cared to know, really," Klaus hummed into her neck. "Want to go back upstairs?"
"Yeah, no. Elijah kind of ruined it for me," Audrey smiled, turning in Klaus's arms to face him. He playfully pouted at her before burying his face into her neck.
"I bet I could change your mind, love," Klaus whispered sensually against her skin. Goosebumps immediately rose and Audrey could feel her legs tremble slightly.
"I don't doubt it," She whispered biting her lip. "But, I should probably go check on Elena," Klaus snorted as though she told him an amusing joke. "What?"

"You really think I'm letting you anywhere near your newly turned sister who has yet to control her thirst?" Klaus asked cocking an eyebrow. "She'd tear your throat open within two seconds,"
"Elena's my sister. She'd never hurt me," Audrey frowned defensively.
"You don't know how powerful the urge to feed is when you're hungry, love. Even though she's your sister, she still wouldn't be able to control herself," Klaus explained. Audrey rolled her eyes at her soulmate and nudged him off of her.
"Fine, if I can't see her, I should at least call her," Audrey said heading back to Klaus's room to retrieve her phone. Once she found it underneath the pile of clothes they made she quickly dialed her sister's number. Elena answered on the second ring.
"H-Hey," Elena said as she answered her phone.
"Hey, how are you?" Audrey asked.
"A little shooken up...but I think I'll be fine. Actually I don't know," Elena rambled. "It's all so different now. I mean...I'm actually a vampire now,"
"I know," Audrey sighed. "I promise you'll get through this, sis,"
"Stefan wants to take me away for a while. He wants to get me started on animal blood so I won't hurt anyone," Elena explained. "I hope it works. I-I don't know what would happen if I hurt someone,"
"I think that's a good idea," Audrey agreed. "I know you Elena. No matter what happens I think you're incapable of hurting people,"
"I hope you're right, Aud," Elena sighed. "Stefan's here. I'll call you later, okay?"
"Okay. Love you," Audrey smiled.
"Love you too," Elena replied before hanging up. Audrey dropped her phone on the nightstand before collapsing on Klaus's incredibly comfy bed. She buried her face in his pillows and groaned out her frustration. She felt the bed dip beside her and already knew it was her soulmate. He ran his hand through her long hair in hopes of calming her.
"Are you alright, darling?" Klaus asked.
"Yeah, I'm just tired of all this supernatural drama," Audrey complained, lifting her head from his pillows to look at him. "On the bright side, Elena said Stefan is taking her away to control her thirst,"
"The ripper giving lessons on thirst control? How ironic," Klaus said smirking. Audrey rolled her eyes at him and face planted back into the pillows. "Want me to help you take your mind off things?" He dragged his shirt off her shoulder and kissed her skin suggestively.
"What's with you today? You're acting like a horny teenage boy," Audrey giggled squirming under his hold.
"I escaped death to reunite with my soulmate. My beautiful-," He flipped her on her back and kissed her neck. Audrey squealed happily. "Lovely," He kissed her jaw now. "Crazy," He moved to her cheek. "Soulmate," Audrey's breath hitched as Klaus held his lips over hers. He smiled down at her before pressing his lips to hers. That magnetic pull drew them closer to each other like it always did. Klaus broke away from their kiss to drag his shirt off her body. He could hear her heart going insane and it excited him. He loved the effect he had on her. "Say it," He groaned as he kissed her neck.

"I love you," She gasped, clutching onto his back. He moaned and moved his hips against hers. He kissed down to her collarbone.
"Say it," He repeated.
"I love you," She said again. He moved her bra strap down her shoulder, kissing her skin as he did so. "I love you," Klaus reached around her and unhooked her bra. Before he removed it he looked into her eyes for permission. She nodded and closed her eyes as he dragged the piece of clothing off her chest. She had never been so exposed to someone before, but she wasn't uncomfortable. Extremely nervous maybe, but she trusted Klaus.
"Stunning," He whispered in amazement. Audrey looked at him again and saw nothing but admiration in his eyes. She cupped his cheek lightly and brought him down to her. This time their kiss was more hungry then before. With unsteady and quick hands, Audrey unbuckled Klaus's jeans and pushed them half way down his legs. He kicked them the rest of the way off and moved his hands to her lace panties. He dragged them down her smooth legs slowly, almost teasingly. Once they were off the only thing left between them were his briefs. He moved his hips against hers and smirked when she mewled against him. Her hands took a break from scratching his back and moved down to his briefs. She fiddled with the hem of them, not sure on what to do next. Klaus took control and removed them for her. There was nothing between them now, just skin on skin. Neither of them had ever felt something so intimate before. Klaus nudged her legs wider apart and pressed against her. He broke away from her lips and moved to her neck. Audrey was borderline hyperventilating by this point. She gripped his biceps and angled her neck almost like she was submitting to him. A growl rumbled from his chest at the thought. He lined himself up at her entrance but waited a moment before moving. "Say it," He growled.
"I love you," She gasped as he thrusted into her.
-
It felt as though he was dreaming. When Klaus opened his eyes he was immediately captivated. Next to him was possibly the most gorgeous creation he had ever laid eyes on and she was all his. The sunlight flooding through the window hit her face perfectly, illuminating her. She had a glow to her that took his breath away. Her hair was sprawled around her like a halo and the white sheets covered just above her breast, but every curve of her body was defined. She really was an angel. His angel. He reached out and lightly touched her face. Her lips were parted slightly as he ran his thumb along the bottom one. His touch stirred her awake and when her eyes fluttered open the first thing she did was smile. The happiest smile he had ever seen on her face. "Hmm, morning," She mumbled tiredly.
"Good morning, love," He said as he leaned over and kissed her softly.
"I could definitely get used to this," Audrey giggled.
"Waking up to my handsome face?" Klaus gloated jokingly. Audrey rolled her eyes and turned her head away from him. She stretched out her limbs and moaned at the delicious soreness. Klaus smirked and climbed on top of her. "You okay?"
"I'm perfect," She smiled. He smiled back and brushed his lips over hers. He wanted every morning to be like this. A shrill ring ruined their moment and they both turned their heads to the nightstand where Audrey's phone was aggressively ringing. "Should I ignore it?" She asked herself as Klaus went to kiss her neck. Just as the ringing died, it started right back up again. "Damon," Audrey groaned finally reaching for her phone. "Hello?"
"Little bird! Glad to hear you're alive," Damon cheered sarcastically.
"Is there a logical reason as to why you're calling me or is it just to be annoying?" Audrey huffed out irritated. Klaus chuckled against her neck and moved down to her collar bone.
"Elena just returned from her night in the woods. Turns out she can't keep down, animal blood," Damon informed. "I told her this would happen. She needs to drink straight from the vein,"
"Wait what?" Audrey asked pushing Klaus off of her and sitting up. "What does that mean?"
"I don't know, but if she can't keep animal blood down she'll have to drink human blood," Damon explained.
"Damon...you know how she is," Audrey said worriedly.
"I can help her," Damon assured. "I can show her control,"
"I trust you Damon," Audrey said. "Please just...help her. I feel like you're the only one who can,"
"Thanks little bird, that means a lot," Damon smiled. "I'll keep you updated,"
"Thanks," Audrey sighed before hanging up. She looked over at her soulmate, who clearly heard her conversation, and raised an eyebrow at him. "Do you know what any of this means?"
"No. I've never heard of a vampire not being able to keep blood down unless...," Klaus trailed off.
"Unless what?" Audrey asked.
"Unless they were compelled not to," Klaus muttered with confusion. "But that wouldn't make sense,"
"Do you think it has something to do with her being the doppelgänger?" Audrey asked.
"I don't know, love. Maybe Damon's right for once. She just needs blood from the vein," Klaus sighed tiredly. "Don't worry. She'll be fine,"
"I hope so," Audrey mumbled biting her lip nervously. Klaus smirked and pushed her down on the bed.
"Want me to take your mind off things?" He suggested coyly. She laughed loudly but nodded her head.
"Oh please do, Casanova," She giggled as he leaned down to kiss her.
