After breaking Stefan's neck again, Klaus dragged Audrey out of the truck. He gripped her arm brutally tight as he pulled them towards a dark ally. He pushed her against a wall and gripped her throat tightly. "Tell me what Stefan is hiding," Klaus growled trying to compel her.

"I-I don't know," Audrey lied. She tried clawing his hands off her neck, but nothing worked. Klaus was tempted to knock her out but a familiar noise caught his ears before he could.

"Really, Nik?! Let her go!" Rebekah said speeding up to them. Klaus shushed her angrily and tuned his ears.

"Elena, you are coming with us to set everything up! It's final!" Caroline Forbes said dragging her friends to the high school.

"It just doesn't feel right without Audrey here," Elena sighed. "All I can do nowadays is worry about her. I mean she could be dead by now Caroline!" Caroline sighed and hugged her friend.

"Don't think like that. Stefan would never let that happen anyways," Caroline assured. "She'd want us to do this," Klaus tuned them out after hearing what he needed to hear. The doppelgänger was alive. No wonder his hybrids were failing. His eyes went back to the human in his hands and he squeezed her.

"Your sister's alive. You forgot to mention that," He snarled.

"You-," She gasped struggling for breath. "Never asked," He was impressed with her fearlessness. He loosened his grip on her throat until he eventually let her drop. The minute she could breath again she was panting.

"Bekah, watch Stefan for me. Audrey and I have to pay her sister a visit," Klaus smirked. Rebekah glanced at her friend in worry but nodded and did as her brother requested. Klaus pulled Audrey up and dragged her to the high school.

"Klaus," Audrey pleaded. "Please don't do this!" He ignored her and sped them away. When they reached a hallway he walked over to a girl setting down mousetraps. She stood and faced him.

"Be a dear and tell your friends that you need some help," He compelled. She nodded and turned to walk away. Not too soon later Elena was walking into the hall. The moment Audrey saw her older sister she ran to her. Elena was shocked to see her sister, but even more shocked to see Klaus.

"Lena!" Audrey cried hugging her sister. Elena gasped and hugged her back. Her eyes never left Klaus.

"There's my girl!" Klaus shouted.

"Klaus," Elena gasped backing up. Audrey let go of her sister and pushed her towards the doors. Elena got the hint and tried to run but Klaus sped in front of her.

"You are supposed to be dead. What are we going to do about that?" He tsked. He grabbed Elena's arm and started pulling her away. Audrey followed closely trying to get Elena free. When they reached the gym Klaus stopped. "You put a rather large kink in my plans, sweetheart. The whole point of breaking the curse and becoming a hybrid was to make more hybrids. I haven't been able to do that. Now my bet is, it has something to do with the fact that you're still breathing,"

"If you're going to kill me, just do it," Elena snapped.

"Not until I know I'm right. But I do have ways of making you suffer," Klaus smirked pulling the doppelgänger into the gym. He cleared his throat before speaking again. "Attention seniors! You have officially been busted. Prank night is over. Head on home," The American accent Klaus spoke in nearly made Audrey burst out with laughter. He sounded like a freak to her. If the situation wasn't so tense she would be crying on the floor from laughing. At the other end of the gym stood Dana and Chad. Two kids who went to school with Audrey and Elena. Klaus recognized them too and sped over to them. "I remember you two,"

"I'm sorry, who are you?" Dana asked confused.

"Oh, don't worry. I wasn't in my right state of mind last time we met," Klaus chuckled looking into the girl's eyes. "Lift up your foot please, Dana," She did as told. "If she drops her foot, Chad, I want you to beat her to death. Understood?" He compelled Chad.

"Don't, Klaus. You don't have to hurt anybody," Audrey begged, praying he'd listen to her.

"Oh, come on love. Of course I do," Klaus smiled. In some sick twisted way, his smile made her stomach flip. After a while Dana began to struggle to keep on one foot. "Keep it up,"

"Where's Stefan? What did you do to him?" Elena asked angrily.

"Stefan's on a timeout," Klaus said blankly. The gym doors opened and Matt and Bonnie entered.

"Bonnie! Get out of here!" Both Elena and Audrey shouted. Klaus ignored the sisters and sped in front of the witch.

"Ah, I was wondering when you'd show up. Now we can get started," Klaus smirked wickedly. He looked over at Dana and Chad. "Dana, why don't you relax? You and Chad sit tight," He stated before returning his look on Bonnie. "I assume you're the reason Elena is still walking around alive?"

"That's right. If you want to blame someone, blame me," Bonnie spat, gritting her teeth. She wanted nothing more than to set the hybrid in flames.

"Oh there's no need for blame, love. Just your witchy interference seems to have cause some undesirable side effects. And since you caused the problem, I'm going to have you find the fix," Klaus explained. As if on cue Rebekah entered with Tyler Lockwood.

"Get off me!" Tyler shouted.

"Oh hush," Rebekah snapped.

"I'd like you all to meet my sister, Rebekah. Word of warning...she can be quite mean," Klaus introduced causing his sister to pout.

"Don't be an ass," She whined shoving Tyler into his arms.

"Leave him alone!" Audrey shouted, but she was an idiot to think Klaus would listen to her.

"I'm going to make this very simple. Every time I attempt to turn a werewolf into a vampire hybrid, they die during the transition. It's quite horrible, actually," Klaus rambled biting into his wrist. He shoved it to Tyler's mouth and forced him to drink it. "I need you to find a way to save my hybrids, Bonnie. And for Tyler's sake you better hurry," In a flash Klaus was snapping Tyler's neck. He smiled at his audience showing them he meant business. Matt rushed over to Tyler's dead body kneeling next to him.

"He killed him," Matt gasped in shock. Audrey bent down next to him, wrapping an arm around his shoulders.

"He's not dead. Klaus's blood will turn him into a vampire," Audrey assured. Klaus wanted to personally rip Matt's heart out for no reason at all. Seeing Audrey so close to him made him angry and that thought made him more angrier with himself. Why is he feeling this way for some pathetic human girl?

"And if Bonnie is successful, he'll live through his transition. Go on, then. Go and fetch your grimoires and enchantments and what-not. I'll hold on to Elena for safe keeping," Klaus said grabbing Elena's arm. Elena gave Bonnie a look and she pulled Matt up to leave. Matt tried to grab Audrey too but she stayed.

"Go, I have to stay with Elena," Audrey said kissing Matt's cheek. He nodded and left with Bonnie. Klaus was still fuming and he hated himself more for it. Rebekah looked Elena over in distaste.

"So this is the latest doppelgänger? The original one was much prettier," She sneered. Klaus shot his sister a glare.

"Rebekah, that's enough. Take the wolf boy elsewhere, would you?" Rebekah rolled her eyes at his request but still did as he commanded. She grabbed Tyler's arms and dragged his body out of the room. "Just ignore her. Petty little thing,"

Elena gave him a weird look before turning to her sister. "You have no idea how scared I was when Damon came back to the car to tell me that Klaus took you," Elena nearly cried as she hugged her sister. "I can't imagine a life without you Audrey Elizabeth. I don't want to, and I thought I'd have to," Audrey buried her head into her sister's shoulder as she cried. Klaus rolled his eyes at them. Doors opening captured their attention. Stefan walked in trying his hardest not to run to Elena.

"Stefan," Elena sighed happily.

"Klaus," Stefan replied looking at the hybrid.

"Stefan. Come to save your damsel, mate?" Klaus snickered in mock.

"I came to ask for your forgiveness," Stefan answered. "And to pledge my loyalty,"

"Well you broke that pledge once before already," Klaus narrowed his eyes at the vampire.

"Elena means nothing to me anymore. And whatever you ask of me I'll do it," Stefan lied. Klaus knew better though.

"Fair enough. Let's drink on it," Klaus said pointing to Dana and Chad. "Kill them. What are you waiting for? Kill them,"

"No! Stefan, don't. He's not going to hurt me. He already said-," Elena tried explaining but Klaus shut her up. He hit her so hard she fell to the ground. Stefan reacted before he could think. He ran at Klaus with his fangs out but Klaus easily caught him by the throat.

"She means nothing to you? Your lies keep piling up," Klaus growled.

"Let her go! I'll do whatever you want, you have my word!" Stefan begged. Audrey, who had bent on the ground to help her sister, knew his words would mean absolute destruction.

"Your word doesn't mean much. I lived by your word all summer, during which time I never had to resort to this," Klaus looked Stefan in the eyes. "Stop fighting,"

"Don't do this, don't do this," Stefan chanted.

"I didn't want to. All I wanted was your allegiance. Now I'm going to have to take it," Klaus snapped, squeezing his throat a little tighter. "You will do exactly what I say, when I say it. You will not run, you will not hide, you will simply just obey,"

"No, Stefan!" Elena cried.

"Now. Kill them Ripper," Klaus commanded. Stefan did as told without hesitation. Audrey hugged Elena to her, hiding her face from Stefan. She glared up at Klaus with so much hate it surprised her. "What love?"

"How could you do this?" She gritted out between her teeth. Tears were streaming down her cheeks but she couldn't tell if they were angry tears or sad ones.

"Because I can," Klaus answered looking back up at Stefan. "It's always nice to see a vampire in his true element. The species has become such a broody lot,"

"No. You did this to him!" Elena shouted crying now.

"I invited him to the party, love. He's the one dancing on the table," Klaus smirked. Elena wiped her tears away as her and her sister stood up. Rebekah stormed into the gym heading right for Elena.

"Where is it?! Where's my necklace!?" She screamed.

"What are you talking about?" Klaus asked his deranged sister.

"She has my necklace. Look!" She shouted shoving the phone in her brother's face. Klaus looked at the picture and sure enough Elena was wearing Rebekah's necklace.

"Well, well. More lies," He tskd.

"Where. Is. It," Rebekah snarled viciously.

"I don't have it anymore," Elena said in defense.

"You're lying!" Audrey could see the way Rebekah was getting. It was a matter of time before she would attack her sister. Audrey stepped in front of her sister right before Rebekah pounced. Everything happened so quickly no one could really understand it. One second Rebekah is flying towards Elena, the next Audrey is flying towards the wall. Stefan, acted out of instincts, dropping the boy he was drinking from to catch Audrey but she got hurled at an incredible speed. When he got behind her he went flying back with her. He stopped her body from crushing against the wall, possibly breaking every bone in her body, but he couldn't stop her head from shooting back to smack the wall. A sickening crack echoed through the gym and blood splattered along the white wall. A beautifully horrifying picture painted out before everyone. Rebekah had stopped her attack on Elena and Klaus went wide eyed. Elena screamed bloody murder and Stefan's face had vamped out at the smell of blood. Tempting, intoxicating, blood.
