"Whoa this party...is great," Audrey slurred as she leaned against the nearest wall. Caroline smirked at her intoxicated friend.
"Oh yeah? You having fun Aud?" Caroline asked. Audrey nodded enthusiastically. She took another swig from her glass but notice nothing was in it. "You know what? I'm going to get wasted too,"
"Whoo! Join the club!" Audrey cheered lifting her empty glass into the air. "I need more bourbon," She giggled reaching for Damon's bottle she had stolen. When she saw nothing was in that either she pouted. "Damon is going to kill me and I'm out of alcohol!" As if on a cue, Damon appeared in front of her.
"Little bird, I think you've had enough considering you drank half a bottle of my strongest stuff," He grimaced realizing she was going to be a mess tomorrow. Audrey pouted and ran her finger down Damon's chest seductively.
"Please Damon, can't I have just a little more," If she wasn't extremely intoxicated he'd flirt back, but he knew better.
"Babe, you're already at the point of not remembering anything tomorrow so no. You're officially cut off for the night," He chuckled. She frowned like a little child, while crossing her arms over her chest. "Awe lighten up. You can still have fun!" She rolled her eyes and stumbled away. She ventured into the next room where she spotted her little brother lighting up a joint with Matt Donovan.
"Matthew!" She called attempting to walk over to them but falling before she even reached the couch they were perched on. Matt jumped to his feet laughing hysterically at the girl on the ground. He bent down to lift her from the ground and onto her feet. She smiled dizzily at him. "I've missed you!" She giggled hugging him. "Like really missed you," Matt had never seen the young Gilbert sister so drunk before. A part of him was worried but his high brain couldn't process that. He smiled hugging her back.
"Audrey, you saw me the other day," He chuckled.
"I know, but you look so good tonight," If they were sober this exchange wouldn't be happening. Audrey was always on the shy side when it came to saying things. She was never really one to be blunt unless she had liquid courage in her. Obviously tonight she had a lot of it. "I used to always be so jealous of Elena. She had the hottest boyfriend in school. The quarterback of the football team," Matt chuckled at her outburst.
"Thanks? Hey Jer, I'm going to get your sister some water. I'll be right back," Matt said looking back over his shoulder. Jeremy just rolled his eyes and nodded. "Come on little Gilbert," He tried helping her to the kitchen but she was slightly disoriented and could barely walk. Eventually, Matt just opted on carrying her.

"Hey Matt-whoa. How drunk is she?" Elena asked once she saw her friend and her sister.
"Put it this way. She has no filter right now and can't walk," Matt laughed glancing down at the girl in his arms who was clinging to the shirt on his body smelling it.
"Oh dear god. After you're done, doing whatever could you make sure she gets to bed upstairs?" Elena asked. Matt nodded causing relief to flood over her. She nodded walking away to search for Caroline. When Matt arrived in the kitchen he sat Audrey on the counter before getting her a glass of water. The moment he handed her the glass she chugged it down thinking it was more alcohol. Matt laughed taking the empty glass from her hands and setting it in the sink. He walked over to her with the intent to pick her back up and take her upstairs so she could sleep but she had something else on her mind. The moment he was in front of her she wrapped her legs around his waist and her arms around his neck.
"Matt you don't see me as a little girl right? I'm not just Elena's little sister to you am I?" She asked with a slight hiccup. He shook his head reaching out to push some hair out of her face.
"Of course not. You're my friend Audrey. Not just Elena's younger sister. I mean maybe when Elena and I were dating you were that to me but not anymore," He explained. She smiled widely at him, extremely happy with his answer. Now Audrey had only kissed one guy before in her entire life and it was because she thought he was going to die. She wasn't exactly experienced when it came to that stuff, but that didn't stop her from pulling Matt down to her so she could kiss him. Matt was stunned with shock at first. I mean his ex-girlfriend's younger sister was kissing him. Not to mention she was his other ex-girlfriend's best friend. He should've stopped and pushed her away but he didn't. His intoxicated mind let him forget everything except the soft lips that were pressed against his. He gently grabbed Audrey's waist pulling her impossibly close to him. She felt so soft and innocent. Their mouths moved in sync with one another until they couldn't breathe. They pulled back to catch their breaths but not a moment later they were hungrily kissing each other again. Caroline, Elena, and Bonnie all leaned against a wall watching the two.
"Should we stop them?" Bonnie asked her two best friends.
"Nah, let her have some fun for once. I mean I've never seen Audrey so bold before, plus it's so gonna be worth it when I give her endless shit tomorrow," Caroline laughed, pulling out her phone to snap a quick picture of the two.

"How is this not weird for you two? She's your little sister Elena, and Caroline you and Matt broke up not even four months ago!" Bonnie exclaimed. Elena and Caroline just shrugged.
"I'm over Matt, plus it's not like they're going to do anything. Matt knows better and Audrey doesn't even know what she's doing. So I can't really blame her," Caroline explained, but that wasn't the whole reason for her calmness. Truth be told, she hadn't even thought of Matt for months. No, the only person who had been occupying her mind lately was Tyler Lockwood.
"Exactly, plus I have too many other things to worry about right now," Elena mumbled. "I trust Matt," Which was true. She trusted only a selected few to watch over Audrey or Jeremy and Matt was one of those people. Bonnie just shook her head and walked away. After a steamy kiss, Matt gathered as much self control as he could to pull away from the girl in his arms, desperately trying to grind herself on him.
"Come on," He panted breathlessly. "You need to go to bed," A part of him felt guilty for letting the situation get so far but another part of him shrugged it off. She'd forget about it in the morning. He picked the petite girl up, slinging her over his shoulder.
"Whoo! I'm flying," She laughed wildly. Matt shook his head with disapproval but held a smile on his face. He carried her up to Damon's room and laid her in his bed. After rummaging through Damon's closet, he found a pair of sweatpants and a shirt for her. Cautiously, he began to help her out of her clothes and into the ones he brought for her. If this were anyone else it'd probably be extremely awkward, but luckily he had done this exact same thing many times for her older sister. When she was all dressed and tucked underneath the covers he grabbed a garbage bin from the bathroom and brought it to her side of the bed. She smiled up at Matt, grabbing his hand softly. "Thank you Matty. You're my hero," She giggled.
"You're welcome," He chuckled. He sat on the bed and looked down at her. "Goodnight Audrey,"
"Goodnight," She yawned. It didn't take long before she was completely passed out. By then Matt felt tired himself. He walked downstairs to return to the other young Gilbert sibling and suggested they leave.

Headache didn't even come close to what Audrey was feeling right now. It felt like a fucking orchestra was having a symphony in her head. She groaned with misery and buried her head into her pillow. What the fuck happened last night? "LITTLE BIRD!" Damon yelled annoyingly loud. Audrey groaned louder than before to show her agony.
"Oh my god! Stop yelling!" She shouted as he laid down on the bed beside her.
"Someone's a little hungover," He sang teasingly. Audrey peaked out from the pillow to see she was in Damon's room.
"What the hell happened last night?" She asked hoarsely. Damon smirked twirling a piece of her dark brown hair.
"Hmm, well you got wasted and apparently passed out in my bed," He chuckled. "Oh, you owe me a new bottle of bourbon by the way,"
"You can compel yourself one so no. Besides you have like 50 bottles of it lying around here anyways," Audrey grumbled. "Now let me sleep. I feel like shit,"
"That's what happens when you drink half a bottle of the strongest alcohol I have in the house," Damon teased with disapproval. Audrey just flipped him off and groaned when her phone went off. Damon handed it to her so she could check it. Caroline was blowing up her phone along with Elena. She decided to check Elena's first and she was glad she did. Elena explained how Damon had been keeping things from the both of them on Stefan's whereabouts. Audrey was about to flip shit on him but she checked Caroline's messages before she could and nearly had a heart attack. Her best friend had been sending her pictures of Audrey and Matt Donovan making out. It was nowhere near innocent too, they looked like they were eating each others face. Audrey was sitting on the kitchen counter with her legs and arms wrapped around Matt while they shoved their tongues down the others throat. It was embarrassing and she had no recollection of it even happening. The weirdest part of it all was that Caroline Forbes, who was known for being dramatic and was Audrey's best friend, wasn't even mad. Matt was Caroline's ex yet she didn't really care. "Why do you look like you've seen a ghost?" Damon laughed. He leaned over to look at her phone and realized why she had such a terrified expression. He frowned, ripping her phone from her hands as he examined the picture more closely. His little bird was wrapped around Matt Donovan, kissing him like her life depended on it. It's not that he was jealous but rather protective.
"Oh my god Damon," She sighed grabbing her head. "Never let me get that drunk again okay?" She didn't even have to ask. Damon already made the promise to himself, because there was no way in hell she'd do something stupid like that ever again. If only he knew...
