"I still think finding that stupid cure is a bad idea, Klaus," Faith mumbled as she laid across the couch in front of the fireplace. She turned the page of one of the Everly family books. Most of the Everly witches wrote down everything that happened in their lives, even their spells.
"He's just a fairytale," Klaus insisted.
Faith sat up from the couch and Klaus turned his attention to the doorway of the living room where Elena stood. "I need your help," she exhaled.
"A bit ironic, you coming to me for help," Klaus smirked as he sat next to Faith with Elena sitting across from the couple. "Weren't your friends just trying to bury me in a cement tomb and keep Faith in a coma?"
"This is your fault," Elena scowled. "You started this when you forced Jeremy to kill those vampires."
"And now my little brat of a brother has gone and made things worse. Well, he never did like Damon. I suppose I should do something, shouldn't I?"
"Call him off, Klaus," Elena demanded.
Faith scoffed. "You're in no place to make demands, Elena. Sure, you do good being human. Klaus needs your blood and you'll be so easy to kill, but we could also destroy it. And you won't be able to use it against him."
"Whatever our differences, we want the same thing. Please, Klaus, I'm begging you."
"Well, that's a change," Faith smirked as she glanced at Klaus.
He smiled then rolled his eyes before taking out his phone to call Kol. "Little brother. Just two days home, and I'm told you've already gone and made a mess."
"Those vampires were for my hunter," Klaus told Kol. "Where's Damon Salvatore?"
He was silent for a few seconds before speaking. "Yes. Well, you've had your fun. Now let him go and come home. Avoid any more trouble, or you'll find yourself back in a box."
"On the contrary, I find nastiness to be essential whenever my siblings try to sabotage me," Klaus' voice turned threatening. "Listen closely, Kol. Stay away from the Gilbert boy. You understand?"
When Klaus smiled in satisfaction, Faith took his phone from him. She smiled at Klaus' frown before she stood to leave the hybrid and vampire to talk. "Hey, Kol," she greeted the Original over the phone. "Let's go play billiards for old time's sake when you come back."
"And make Nik jealous?" Kol smirked. "Sure, for old time's sake."
Faith handed the phone back to Klaus as she sat down on the couch after Elena left. "You would rather go on a date with my brother than me?" Klaus asked with a small smile.
Faith smiled back, looking at the hybrid. "Well, I would ask you out, but you've been busy with finding the cure and all."
She slid over his lap, straddling him on the couch. Her smile grew as Klaus placed his hands over her hips. "Plus there are other ways to spend time together," she said, coyly.

She placed her arms over Klaus' shoulders as she brought herself closer to him. "That I would only do with you," she whispered.
"If you didn't," Klaus' eyes flickered down to her lips before looking at her blue eyes. "I would rip their heart out of their chest."
Faith smirked at his threat before planting her lips over his. Their lips moved in sync as Faith's hands trailed down to the hem of Klaus' shirt. She tugged on the shirt before she pulled it off him.
She grinned against the hybrid's lips as his fingers began to dig a little into her hips. He was starting to lose control. As a distraction, he ripped her shirt off of her, leaving her only in her jeans and bra.
Immediately, Klaus picked her up before vamp-speed them into their bedroom. He pulled away as he stared down at the siphoner underneath him. Her raven hair sprawled underneath her. Her lips were slightly parted as she gasped for air. Her blue eyes shined dangerously at him.
The corner of her lips tugged up into a smile before he placed his lips on top of hers again.

Faith struggled to pull her jeans on as she had her phone against her ear and shoulder. She woke up in Klaus' bedroom. Alone. To say the least, she was kind of pissed off.
"Morning, love," Klaus greeted her.
Her eyes narrowed in annoyance as she buttoned her jeans. "I don't appreciate waking up alone, Klaus. Especially since you're my boyfriend."
"Right," Klaus smiled as he stepped outside of Damon's cell to continue his conversation with the siphoner. "I had things to do and you seemed perfectly peaceful sleeping, so I let you be."
"Next time leave a note or something," she huffed as her anger disappeared. "Where are you anyway? I've called your siblings after you didn't answer the first time and they didn't answer either."
"I'm on Damon duty," Klaus explained. "As for my siblings, Rebekah is probably distracted with Stefan as he tries to take the dagger away from her and Kol is still trying to kill the young Gilbert."
"I'll be at the Salvatore house," Faith informed him before she hung up.
"Well, well," Damon stood up from the cell and looked out to see Faith with Klaus' arm around his waist. He glared at the PDA before smiling at Faith. "If it isn't my favorite little witch."
The siphoner smiled back at Damon. "Glad to see you, too, Damon."
"Your boyfriend is quite the keeper," Damon smirked. "He won't leave you no matter how many times I tried bargaining with him. He just won't take it."
"Thanks?" Faith said.
Klaus pulled out his phone before putting back inside of his suit. "Your brother's lack of communication is infuriating."
"It's one of his trademarks," Damon said, slowly. "Like his brooding and his hair."
"I don't understand what's taking so long. I mean, how hard is it to steal a dagger?"

"From a vampire who's been stabbed as many times as your sister?" Damon said. "I'd say difficult."
"Who are you trying to dagger?" Faith looked at Klaus, expectantly. "Klaus?"
"It's just for a while, love," Klaus explained. "You won't miss him much, just until we get the cure."
"This is about Silas, isn't?" Faith asked.
"He's going barbaric," Klaus answered before opening the cell door open and threw a vile of blood toward Damon.
The vampire caught it. "Sweet."
"You disappoint me, Damon," Klaus told him. "You're not trying very hard to get out of here. I expected more the daring escape artist, less the cell potato."
"Well, I am compelled to kill Jeremy," Damon defended. "So I figured it's probably smarter to sit here and chit-chat with you than bust out of here like the Hulk."
"And here I thought you'll be able to resist the compulsion like Stefan," Faith said, absentmindedly. "Seeing how much you love that doppelgänger."
Damon became irked at her statement. "She's met me. She knows impulse control's not my strong suit."
"True," she agreed.
"Still, must be hard trying to live up to Stefan," Klaus spoke up. "I remember when I compelled him to feed off Elena. He fought it so hard, he actually managed to resist. Now, that's love."
"What do you know about love?" Damon retorted.
Faith gave him a look to which he smirked.
"I know that you're in love with Elena. But I think you're afraid of what might happen when we find the cure at the end of the rainbow. Personally, I don't see a fairytale ending for you. All I see is Stefan and Elena. I think you see the same thing."
Klaus's phone began to ring and he walked outside the cell to take the phone call.
"How you feeling?" Faith asked.
Damon shook his head. "Fine as one can be after being drained so I won't go kill the brother of my girlfriend."
Faith hummed. "Thought so."
She was suddenly pulled back as Klaus pushed Damon against the wall with his hand over his neck. "What the hell is going on?" He demanded.
"I don't know," Damon croaked.
"What are Stefan and Elena planning?"
"I don't know," he repeated. "I've been stuck in the penalty box with you since yesterday. Stefan won't talk to me, and Elena won't come to see me, so maybe you're right. Maybe she's written me off."
"Tell me what you know," Klaus compelled.
"I don't know anything about a plan," Damon answered.
"Stay here till I return," Klaus ordered. He grabbed hold of Faith's hand, pulling her out of the cell and slamming the cell door shut.
"What's going on?" She asked.
"They're trying to kill Kol," he answered.
"Wasn't that your plan?" Faith remarked.
"Not when I don't know where they're trying to keep his body," Klaus defended. "He's my little brother."
Faith tightened her hold on his hand, causing the hybrid to stop and look at her. She smiled at him. "Then let's go save your brother. He still needs to play billiards with me."

Blue eyes were wide with tears from the doorway of the Gilbert house. Her heart sank as she watched the flames on the body burn. Her throat began to build up with emotions.
"What did you do?" Klaus was the first to speak.
"We didn't have a choice. He was trying to cut off Jeremy's arm!" Elena tried to defend her reasons.
"Lies!" He said with raw emotions. "He never would've gotten inside if you hadn't set a trap for him."
"You said you were going to put him down too."
"Not kill him!" Faith yelled with tears. "He wasn't going to kill him!"
"I'm going to burn this house to the ground. And then, when you try to flee for your lives, I'll kill you both without blinking."
"You kill us, you'll never get to the cure. You'll never be able to make any more hybrids," Jeremy said.
Faith glared at the boy before stepping inside the house. The two siblings stepped back on guard. "He needs to be invited in, but I'm not a fucking vampire."
Jeremy raised the crossbow at her, though he hesitated. She disappeared from their sight before appearing behind Elena. Without hesitation, she placed her hands on Elena's head and snapped her neck.
Jeremy turned just as his sister dropped to the ground. Tears still fell from Faith's eyes as she pulled the crossbow from Jeremy's hands with magic. The crossbow skidded across the floor, leaving him defenseless.
Suddenly, Klaus let out a growl of pain. Unwilling, he was on his knees as Bonnie entered the house. "Stop or I'll kill him," she threatened.
Faith glanced at Klaus before stepping back reluctantly. She couldn't do anything with Klaus being threatened.
"Invite him in," Bonnie ordered.
Hesitate, Jeremy invited him in. Klaus dropped the floor with a growl. "Living room, now!" Bonnie said.
Faith and Klaus rushed after Jeremy and Bonnie. They left the living room area just as they arrived inside. Klaus slammed his fist against the invisible barrier around the living room. Faith tried stepping forward but couldn't.
She tried siphoning the magic, but immediately she cried out in pain.
"What kind of magic is this?" She yelled. "It's disgusting!"
"I will hunt all of you to your end! Do you hear me? Do you!?" Klaus yelled after Bonnie and Jeremy. The younger Gilbert had picked up his sister from the floor as they left the house, leaving only the couple.
Faith stared at the brunt body of Kol with sad eyes. "We were supposed to hang out..."
