"You're so overdramatic," Faith chuckled after Klaus bit into his hand, drawing blood as he stood in front of Bonnie. The Bennett witch's green eyes widened at the sight of the siphoner. She wasn't expecting the girl to be here, especially since she left town a few days ago. Bonnie observed how Faith smiled around the hybrid, but her blue eyes turned cold and murderous at the sight of her. Bonnie felt the same fear she felt around the hybrid.

"Well if it isn't the Bennett witch," Faith smirked as she stood next to Klaus. "I heard your mother left you. Again."

"You're with him?" Bonnie questioned, angrily. "He knows where Jeremy is. He's threatening me!"

"Am I supposed to care?" Faith shot back. "He could threaten you all he wants. I'm not his boss nor do I care about you, Bennett. Never did and especially not now, after what happened with my mother."

"Faith, I'm sorry," Bonnie apologized, looking down.

"If you're really sorry," Faith stepped forward and hovered over the witch. "Do the fucking spell, Bonnie or it won't be Kol killing Jeremy. It will be me."

Reluctantly, Bonnie picked up the glass cup, holding it underneath Klaus' bleeding hand so his blood dripped into the glass. She went back to the small table and placed the glass cup in the middle surrounded by lit candles. She began chanting as she poured the rest of the Mikaelson blood into the glass. After pouring the last bottle of blood, Bonnie glanced at Faith. The siphoner smirked and grabbed a cleaned knife from Klaus, handing it to the witch.

Bonnie held Faith's hand with her palm facing up. As she was about to cut through her flesh, she noticed the circular scar in the middle of her palm. Elena had told her about what happened to the siphoner before everything about Abby happened. How Circe had dug two nails into each of Faith's palms like she was crucifying her, causing scarring and the bones in her hand to be crushed by the nails.

"You know," Bonnie glanced up at the smirking siphoner, "staring is impolite."

The witch let out a breath before slicing the knife across Faith's palm. She turned her hand upside down so the siphoner's blood dripped into the glass cup. Faith was paying attention to the Bennett witch and didn't notice Klaus holding her injured hand and wrapping it in bandages, so it doesn't get infected until he's able to give her his blood to heal. Bonnie poured the glass filled with blood onto the wooden table and continued chanting causing the spilled blood to disperse into six different circles.

The flames flared up meaning the spell was working. The six small blood pools began to move away from each other. The flames on the candles calmed down as Klaus looked at Faith for reassurance. Faith nodded with a smile to show that Bonnie undid the spell.

Faith walked toward the foyer of the mansion. She had stayed back in the room to call Marcel to keep him updated where she was and to ask how Dani was doing. When Faith returned to New Orleans, the five-year-old wouldn't talk to her. She kept saying that she didn't like her mom leaving all the time and wanted to stay with her.

Sadly, Faith couldn't trust how Marcel and Klaus would react to each other or if Dani would be safe with Faith around. She had many doubts and a lot of things could go wrong if Faith went to live in New Orleans, permanently.

Feeling stressed, Faith ran a hand through her hair and glanced up to see Rebekah walking up to her with a towel wiping her hands. "What's with the blood?" Faith asked.

Rebekah paused, not knowing what to tell the siphoner. She couldn't just tell her the vampire she cared for is tied up in chains in the living room and is being drained from vervain for Rebekah to torture. The blonde vampire was afraid she might lose Faith as a friend. A bad feeling settled inside of Faith when Rebekah didn't answer. "Rebekah," Faith stepped forward, worriedly. "Whose blood is that?"

Faith glanced to where the living room was and noticed the vampire step in between her and the living room. Immediately, the siphoner disappeared from Rebekah's sight and appeared at the doorway of the living room. Her blue eyes widened at the sight of Damon chained up and blood dripping down his body.

She disappeared and appeared in front of Damon. Bad memories began to resurface from being chained up by her mother. The dark-haired vampire slowly raised his head up and strained a smile at the sight of the siphoner. "When did you get back, Lil witch?" Damon groaned out in pain.

"Oh, god, Damon," Faith whispered, softly at the sight of the tortured vampire. She could feel her heart twisting in guilt, though she didn't know why. Probably because she knew she could've stopped this from happening if she had stayed in Mystic Falls.

"I'm fine," Damon groaned. "We both made a choice."

The corners of her lips tugged down in a frown and Faith glanced back at the empty doorway. Rebekah probably trusted her enough to not let go of Damon and Klaus was still escorting Bonnie out of the mansion. Letting out a deep breath, the siphoner placed her hands on either side of the vampire's face and began chanting a spell. Most of the spells Faith knew were more offense, but she's been learning some healing spells.

"That should help a little for the pain," Faith explained with a sad smile.

"Faith? Love?"

Hearing Klaus calling her name, Faith gave Damon one last soft smile before leaving the room. Dark blue-green eyes immediately went to the direction of Faith coming out of the room where Damon was being held. His expression softened slightly knowing the siphoner cared for the vampire.

"Would you like something to drink?" Klaus offered as they walked into his study.

"No, I'm fine," Faith shook her head as she sat down on a couch in the room.

She ignored the hybrid as he sat down next to her. When she looked at the hybrid, he was already looking at her causing confusion to the siphoner. It always confused Faith the way Klaus looked at her. She didn't understand the emotion he held on his face.

"Why do you always look at me like that?" Faith asked.

Klaus smirked, knowing exactly what she was talking about. He also knew Faith had never fallen in love with someone based on what Elijah had told him. He didn't want to scare her away. "Like what?"

Faith narrowed her eyes on the hybrid. "Well, Klaus if I knew don't you think I would've told you?"

Klaus softened his expression and gave a gentle smile. "Faith, do you love someone?"

"Yeah," Faith answered. "I love my daughter and many other people, including you despite everything that happened."

Klaus resisted the urge to hold the siphoner and kiss her. "I meant romantically, love," he corrected.

With a confused expression, Faith thought over for a moment. "No, I don't and never did. Except maybe Tyler, but it was more of a childhood crush-slash-friends with benefits even though we dated."

"I look at you like I fancy you, Faith," Klaus admitted with a smirk. "So I'm asking if you fancy me?" When the siphoner stayed quiet, Klaus stood up from the couch. "You don't have to answer right away. Take your time."

Once he left the room, it took Faith a while to process what the hybrid had told her. Klaus. Fancies her? Like, likes her?

She felt her heart pound against her ears and the tips of her ears heating up. It felt weird. She never felt anything like that. In a sense, Faith was innocent when it comes to love. It kind of happens when you don't get any parent love growing up and never able to see a stable romantic relationship.

"What the bloody hell?" Faith blurted out as she looked up in the direction Klaus had left.

"Did you know?" Faith questioned Rebekah as she stormed into the Original's room.

"Know what?" Rebekah asked.

"That your brother likes me," Faith went on.

"I see, he finally confessed," Rebekah remarked before turning around to look at the siphoner. "And of course I knew. I told you when we were in Chicago. That's the reason why he bought you that dress."

"What do I do?" Faith started to panic. "I never actually loved anyone like that. I know friendship, sibling-love, which is ironic since I'm an only child and sex! But I know nothing about romantic feelings, Rebekah! I skipped like a million steps!"

"Oh, sweetheart," Rebekah grabbed hold of the siphoner and pulled her to sit down on her bed to calm her down. "Good thing, you have me. I'm an expert on falling in love."

"Isn't that a bad thing?" Faith retorted. "Didn't you get your heart broken like a thousand times?"

"Now isn't the time to judge, Faith," the blonde vampire remarked. "How did you feel when my brother confessed?"

Faith shrugged as she could feel her ears turning red. "I don't know. Flustered? My heart was pounding and my ears were warm. He left the fucking room before I could say anything."

"How would you feel if Klaus were to date that blonde skank?" Rebekah questioned. She glanced down at her hands holding Faith's with a smirk. The siphoner's grip tightened slightly before relaxing.

"I don't know," Faith hesitated. "Angry like I want to snap Caroline's neck a couple of times, but not kill her. I mean, she hasn't actually done anything to me. She's probably the only one I like other than Damon."

"And people think you're a monster," Rebekah mumbled to herself at Faith's response. Despite what the Mystic Falls gang think, Faith doesn't actually kill or hurt anyone unless they've done something to her or they're threatening the people she cares about, whether they're good or bad.

"That's called jealousy, sweetheart," Rebekah pointed out. "You might not know it, but you obviously care about Nik more than you think you do."

It became silent as the Original let her words sink in on the siphoner. Suddenly hearing something, Rebekah turned her attention to the door, catching Faith's attention.

"What's wrong?" Faith asked.

"Stefan has come to play the hero," Rebekah smirked.

"You know she's right," Faith walked inside the room after Rebekah left Klaus alone after their small spat. Rebekah didn't allow the siphoner to leave her room until after Stefan had left with Damon which Faith was thankful for. She did a lot of thinking in that room. "Despite everything, Finn was still your brother, Klaus."

"I already had enough of bantering for one day, love," Klaus grumbled. "I don't feel like arguing with you."

Faith raised an eyebrow. "Really now? Well, too bad, Klaus. However, let me ask you this? If Finn was a lovesick fool, then what are you?"

"Using my love for you to argue now?" Klaus looked at the siphoner. Her blue shined as she looked up at him. "Have you realized you love me?"

"Changing the subject? Okay. Cocky, but fine," Faith shrugged as she stepped closer to the hybrid, leaving only a few inches of space between them. "If I'm being honest, Klaus, I wouldn't think us together would work out. You're controlling and like to be in charge with no one defying you. Whereas I don't like being controlled not after being controlled my whole life."

She looked back up at him. "I've never loved anyone, romantically, I have a five-year-old daughter and I'm only eighteen with no high school diploma. I'm called an abomination by witches."

Hesitantly, she wrapped her arms around the hybrid's neck. Klaus looked deeply into her mesmerizing blue eyes as he felt her breath close to his lips. "How, when, and why you love me is beyond me. But you make me feel safe. Safer than I ever felt around anyone, even Elijah. I feel so happy around you and when you feel sad, angry, or confused, I want to be able to make you happy like you make me and to be that person you talk to freely and let me listen. I want to be loved by you and I want to love you."

"And I think I do," Faith whispered. "If loving you is wanting to be by your side. To make you happy. To be your family. Having someone to talk to. To be together even while knowing our bad sides. Then yeah, I guess I do love you. I do fancy you."

Immediately, Klaus wrapped his arms around Faith's waist, pulling her closer until there was no space between them. Dark blue-green eyes looked for anything that would tell him if she was lying. Anything before he allowed the siphoner to break the walls he built around him for years. Before he gave his heart and trust, wholeheartedly to her.

He found none. And he did the one thing he's been wanting to do since that one summer moment.

He placed his lips on hers.
