Faith combed her hands through her frizzy semi-curl hair back, pulling into a high ponytail as she walked down the empty hallway as fast as she could. It's been a month since the day Vicki Donovan died and since Faith went on a drinking binge. Of course, the siphoner made sure to not drink any of the luxurious alcoholic drinks her mother had in the house. She had also haven't talked to Elena, the Salvatore brothers, and everyone else in the small town.

Passing by the trophy display case, Faith used it as a mirror to make sure she didn't look like a high school junkie before she made her way to her history class. She creaked the classroom door open causing an unfamiliar voice to stop talking.

"I'm sorry," she flashed her believable fake smile at the unknown man, glancing at the chalkboard behind him. The name 'Alaric Saltzman' read across the board as Faith stepped inside the classroom. "I had car trouble this morning, Mr. Saltzman."

"Please, like I told your class, call me; Ric," The teacher told her, smiling awkwardly. "Have a seat, Ms...."

"Faith Everly," she told her name as she sat down on an empty desk in the front row of the classroom.

Faith sighed as she sat down at a random picnic table in the courtyard. Groaning, she pulled out her journal and school books to finish all the school assignments she had been putting away for the past weeks. She heard someone sit down in front of her, but chose to ignore them as she continued to write down notes in her journal.

"Faith," Bonnie leaned over the table, trying to catch her friend's attention. "I need to talk to you about something."

"Go talk to Elena," she dismissed her, keeping her eyes down as she flipped a page on her history book.

Bonnie frowned as Elena made her way to the two teen girls. The brunette was mostly worried about Faith blowing up on Bonnie, even though she knew the latter was also a witch.

Faith motioned to the doppelganger who sat down next to Bonnie. "See, she's right there. Now can both of you leave? I need to get my grades up before they have to call my mother."

"But-" Bonnie protested.

"Not now, Bonnie," Faith growled, her blue eyes narrowing in anger as her hand clenched onto her pencil.

"I know about you being a witch," Bonnie blurted out, surprising Elena that she told Faith. "And I need your help."

"You and everyone else in this town," Faith grumbled, but sighed and her blue eyes met with Bonnie's olive-green eyes. "Fine. What do you want?"

Bonnie narrowed her eyes on Faith's tone of voice. "Why are you acting so differently?"

"It comes with knowing I'm a witch, just ask Elena," Faith responded and raised her eyebrow at the newfound witch. "Now do you want my help or do you want me to make the two of you leave?"

Bonnie glanced at her friend sitting next to her to which Elena nodded. As much as Elena didn't want to admit, Faith was the only other witch she knew that wasn't Bonnie and her grandmother, and she was pretty sure Faith's mother wasn't the best witch to get help from.

"I keep having these dreams," Bonnie began. "I see Emily Bennet, my ancestor walking through the school halls and I follow her. I always end up at the remains of the old Fell's church before I wake up back in the woods."

Faith hummed, amused. "Must be because of that necklace around your neck. I read it belonged to Emily, she was a powerful witch back then during the Civil War."

"I already know that," Bonnie said, exasperated. "I want it to stop."

"Have you talked to Grams?" Elena asked.

"She'll just tell me to embrace it."

"Well, I can't help you with that," Faith shrugged as she began to pick up her school supplies into her bag.

"Wait, Faith, why not?" Bonnie questioned.

Faith smirked, causing the two teen girls to stiffened at the reaction. "Because if I help you, the dreams will stop and where's the fun in that?" And the raven-haired walked away from the picnic table with her bag over her shoulder.

"Ugh, what?" Faith groaned as she resisted to throw up from drinking a whole 6-pack of beer. She pulled her phone away from her ear to see a certain doppelganger's name and the time. "What do you want, Elena? It's eleven at night."

"Something happened to Bonnie," Elena said in a rush. "I think she's possessed by Emily."

"And I care, why?" Faith drew out as she picked up a joint from the coffee table and lit it up. She inhaled the smoke from the thin joint before exhaling it.

"Look, Faith, I know you don't care about anyone except for my brother and Matt, but don't you care about a fellow witch?" Elena asked, desperately. She only heard silence in return making the brunette have a small hope that Faith would try to rescue Bonnie.

"No, not really," Faith spoke up, crushing the small hope inside of Elena. "It's not like she's an Everly witch. Plus did you know the Bennet's and Everly's don't like each other? They despise each other, Elena."

"Faith, please," Elena begged. "She's going to Fell's church."

Faith sprung up from the coach. "I'll be there," she hung up as she pulled a large sweater over her body and teleported in the woods.

"Pleasure to meet you, Emily Bennet," Faith greeted the spirit that resided inside of Bonnie's body. She grinned in mischief as she scowled at the sight of the Everly witch.

"Everly witch," Emily frowned. "Always helping vampires."

Faith shrugged, blue eyes shining in amusement. "What can I say? It's in our blood."

"A little help over here," Damon groaned from up a tree. Faith looked up to see the dark-haired vampire impaled by a tree branch.

"I'm sure you're fine," the siphoner seethed before turning her attention back to the Bennet witch just as Stefan and Elena arrived at the scene. "I can't let you let Katherine out of that tomb, Emily."

"I won't," Emily said, confusing everyone except for Damon who was on the ground after his brother's help. "With one, comes all."

"Of course," Faith sighed, then shrugged. "Well, my job here is done."

Damon glared at the siphoner, showing his red eyes and purple veins from underneath his eyes. "You're not leaving. You're going to stop her. We had a deal, Faith."

"Keyword; had," Faith glared back at the vampire. "Our deal was off when your brother killed Vicki. I'm not helping you, Salvatore brothers, and your love triangle."

"Damon, you can't do this," Stefan told his brother, interrupting their glaring. "You're letting loose 27 vampires into town. You can't bring them back."

"Why not? This town deserves it."

"You're blaming innocent people for something that happened 145 years ago," Stefan told his brother, trying to get through to his brother.

"There's nothing innocent about these people and don't think for a second it won't happen again. They already know too much," Damon spat before looking back at Emily who stopped drawing on the dirt ground with a tree branch. "And they'll burn your little grandwitch right next to us when they find out. Trust me."

Emily glanced at Faith before calming saying, "Things are different now."

"Don't do this," Damon pleaded.

Faith rolled her eyes. "Please another few hundred years of suffering won't make a difference to your vampire life." She turned to Emily. "Just burn it already."

"I can't free them," Emily told the dark-haired vampire, "I won't."

"Incendia!" The pentagram Emily carved into the dirt around her set on fire and flames surrounded her, creating a barrier between the witch and the Salvatore brothers and Faith.

"Bonnie!" Elena yelled, rushing toward her friend but was held back by the younger Salvatore brother.

Emily held the talisman in her hand and threw it into the air, exploding above them. Once the necklace exploded, the spell was completed and the fire faded, Emily departed from Bonnie's body. Faith smirked at the sight of a confused Bonnie and an angered Damon as the vampire rushed to the reawakened witch and bit into her neck. Bonnie screamed in fright as Damon fed on her before the vampire was pulled back by his brother.

Stefan and Elena rushed toward the fallen witch. Stefan instantly bit into his wrist and fed the witch his blood. Faith watched as her neck began to heal.

Faith trudged to the two best friends leaning against Elena's car. Faith smiled in amusement at the doppelganger stupid attempt to protect Bonnie by pushing her back and standing in front of the witch on guard.

"Like I said," Faith said, apathetic. "Quite pathetic if you think you can stop me."

Bonnie glared at the siphoner. "But maybe I can."

Faith laughed, humorless. "That's a big maybe. You're not strong enough to stop me, Bennet. Plus all your magic was used up by your ancestor."

"Faith, I know you're still grieving about Vicki," Elena spoke up, softly.

"I'm gonna stop you right there," Faith interrupted the brunette's 'you're going through a rough time but that doesn't mean you have to act this way' speech. "Stop with the empathy slash pity speech, Elena. It's annoying and unnecessary. I just wanted to remind you that I will not help you anymore," she shrugged. "That is if it only gave me some kind of entertainment which probably will be almost never, so I suggest you stop calling me to help you or I will snap your neck, maybe even worse turn you into a vampire."

"You promised to protect Jeremy," Elena yelled.

"Exactly," Faith rolled her eyes. "Jeremy, not you. She could care less about you as do I. Anyway, I should be going now."

The two teen girls watched as Faith waved her fingers, teasingly before she vanished into the shadows and from their sights.

Faith turned around from inside her house. Her breath was caught in her throat and her blue eyes widened. In front of her stood her mother with a glass of red wine in hand, leaning against the doorway to the living room.

"Mother," Faith greeted, hesitantly. "I wasn't expecting you home."

Red wine tainted Circe's lips as her emerald eyes stared at her daughter with unloving eyes. "Usually, I would be teaching you a lesson for coming home so late and for not greeting me home, but I have other matters to discuss with you, unfortunately."

"What do you need, Mother?" Faith asked, politely while keeping her eyes trained on the ground.

"I need you to come to New Orleans with me," Circe didn't ask. She never did because Circe knew the fear the daughter held for her and she loved it.

"Of course," Faith replied. "When are we leaving?"

"Tonight."
