Faith walked up to the Salvatore Boarding House as Elena parked her car in the driveway of the house. The blue-eyed girl tried her best to ignore the brunette but Elena was persistent as she rushed to catch up to the siphoner. She mentally groaned as they both stood in front of the door while Faith swung the door knocker against the door, the sound filling the tense silence between the two teen girls.

"Why are you here, Faith?" Elena questioned her while waiting for someone to open the door.

"I'm here for Vicki," Faith replied, reluctantly. Her eyes were trained on the door, making no movement to look at the brunette next to her.

Elena's eyes widened, slightly as she thought of ways to make the black-haired girl leave before she found out about her friend being a vampire and how Faith knew Vicki was in the Salvatore house. "But Vicki is missing. How do you know she's here?"

The door swung opened to reveal Damon Salvatore, stopping Faith from answering the brunette's question. Faith glared, harshly at the vampire that stood in front of her while concentrating on popping the blood vessels in his head. She slipped at satisfying smirk onto her lips as she stepped closer to the vampire.

"We made a fucking deal, Damon," she hissed, her eyes observing the vampire's pained expression. "You don't kill, hurt, or turned Vicki Donovan and Jeremy Gilbert."

"You got to stop doing that," Damon groaned in pain. "Remember what happened last time?"

"Did it ever occur to you that I let you hurt me?" Faith answered with a question. Faith knew she didn't let the vampire hurt her, but Damon didn't have to know. "You're lucky, you only turned her into a vampire and didn't kill or I would've killed you right now."

"What's going on?" Elena spoke for the first time since Damon opened the door. "And what deal?"

"None of your business," Faith said, dismissively. She glanced at the brunette before she stopped inflicting pain on the vampire, who was struggling to stay standing against the door. "You still have yourself a deal, Damon, but if you kill Vicki, then that's the end of the deal."

"Got it," the vampire groaned, having a slight side effect to the pain the siphoner caused. He stood up and let Faith walk inside the house, but stopped the brunette teenager from stepping inside.

"What are you doing here, Faith?" Stefan questioned the raven-haired girl as she walked up the steps to the second floor.

Faith rolled her eyes. "You make it seem like I'm not a witch who can do a simple locator spell to find out where my friend has been hiding."

Her blue eyes shifted to behind her friend who sat down at a table with a mug in front of her. Vicki looked at her in surprise by the sudden information that her friend was a witch. Faith glanced back at the green-eyed vampire, "By the way, your girlfriend or ex-girlfriend is talking to your brother. She just might fall in love with his bad-boy slash vampire personality so you might want to go get her before she falls in love."

Stefan observed her features and in a blink of an eye, the vampire disappeared from the two friends' sight. Faith grinned, mischievously at the brunette as she sat down next to the newly transitioned vampire.

"You're a witch?" Vicki asked with wide eyes directed to the siphoner.

Faith leaned against the table, glancing inside the mug in front of the vampire to see coffee. She smirked at her friend, "Something like that."

With arms folded against her chest, Faith's blue eyes observed as Stefan taught Vicki the boring ways of the vampires before the brunette stood up to go to the bathroom and Stefan left as well, leaving Elene and Faith alone.

"What deal did you make with Damon, Faith?" the brunette asked the siphoner from across the table. "You shouldn't be making any deals with him. He's a monster. A vampire, who feeds on human blood and kills them just because he can."

"And?" Faith questioned back, resting her chin on the palm of her hand. "Is that the best you got? That's he's a monster? A vampire? Who kills?"

Elena's eyes widened at the nonchalant girl, who didn't seem to understand the seriousness of the situation. She stood up to get to Faith but was interrupted as Vicki came back and began dialing on a home phone.

"Who are you calling?" She asked the female vampire.

"Jeremy," Vicki answered.

Elena's eyes widened as she stepped closer to the vampire, but stopped when she noticed Faith's blue eyes narrowed on her. Elena knew the girl was a 'witch', but she didn't know what she was capable of especially after managing to hurt Damon and since she talked to her, Elena wasn't sure if she even knew Faith. Elena couldn't trust that Faith would protect her or even care about her.

"Vicki, you can't see Jeremy anymore," Elena told the vampire while cautiously glancing at Faith.

"Oh, come on, don't you start. I'm gonna see whoever I wanna see."

"Even though you could hurt him?"

"I would never hurt Jeremy."

"I know you think that," Elena moved closer to the vampire as Faith watched with amusement at the two brunettes, "but I can't take that risk. You're gonna have to let Jeremy go now."

"Oh, really?" Vicki stepped forward, threateningly toward Elena causing the younger girl to step back. "And how long have you been preparing the 'you're not good enough' speech? I'm assuming it predates the whole vampire thing."

"All I am saying is Jeremy is not getting involved in any of this. I mean it, Vicki."

"Or what?" Vicki asked, intimidating. The vampire glanced back at Faith and noticed the smirk on her face. Vicki smirked back before using her newfound vampire strength and speed, pushed Elena up against a wall with her hand wrapped around her neck.

"Let's get one thing straight, you perky little bitch. You had my brother whipped for fifteen years. Fifteen years and then you dumped him. When I look at you that is all I see, just so you know. And I'm gonna see Jeremy whenever I wanna see Jeremy, because I have some fun new toys to play with, and I won't think twice about ripping your little head off. You got it?"

The vampire pulled away from Elena before walking away. Faith watched as the brunette coughed while soothing her neck. Elena caught the witch's blue eyes watching her and frowned. "Why didn't you stop her?"

Faith shrugged with a smirk playing on her lips. "Was I supposed to? You were practically yelling at her to kill you, 'perky little bitch'. You should know better than to provoke a vampire. I mean you are dating one, aren't you? Or did you already break up?"

Elena furrowed her eyebrows. She didn't recognize the Faith in front of her. The only other time she talked to her like that was the night Tyler and Jeremy fought when she was drunk. Elena thought it was only the drinking talking, but maybe it was the real Faith.

"Faith," Elena moves closer to the raven-haired girl. "What's wrong with you?"

Faith frowned at the expression on the brunette's face.

Pity.

Faith didn't want pity. She wanted people to understand the hell that's been her life. For someone to do something because she was too weak to do anything. Not pity.

"Fuck off, Elena," she spat before walking away.

Faith in her angel costume walked several feet ahead of Damon as she rushed toward Bonnie who was ironically dressed as a witch. She grinned with mischief at the girl as she rummaged through a fake cauldron. She popped a chocolate candy into her mouth, looking at Bonnie. "A witch, really?"

She received a deadpanned look from her. "At least I didn't come in last year's costume. If Caroline saw you, she would kill you."

Faith shrugged, popping another candy into her mouth just as Damon arrived next to her. "She won't kill me. It's Halloween, my favorite holiday and I'm pretty sure there's an unspoken rule to never kill your friends on their favorite holiday."

The siphoner didn't get a response as Bonnie frowned at the vampire's direction while he picked a random candy from the cauldron. "So where'd Caroline run off to?"

"Do yourself a favor, Damon, and don't ask me about Caroline," Bonnie replied, threateningly.

"Oh, Bonnie, so loyal," Damon mocked her.

"I'm going to check on Vicki," Faith announced, disliking the boredom. "Though she's probably sucking the blood out of Jeremy right now."

"What?" Bonnie blurted out with wide eyes.

Faith looked at her, suspiciously. "What? She's dressed as a vampire."

"Right," Bonnie somewhat relaxed as Faith walked away from the two.

After hearing some commotion from the back entrance where the school buses were parked, Faith opened the back door to see Elena trying to open the same door as well. Faith only looked at her for a second before the brunette was pulled back by a female silhouette and bit on the neck. The brunette let out a high pitch scream filled with fear and pain. It wasn't long after that Stefan walked up behind the figure and stabbed it from the back with a wooden stake.

It was only when the silhouette turned around that Faith's eyes widened at the sight of Vicki dying.

"Vicki!" She rushed forward the same time as Jeremy did. The younger boy was stopped by Stefan but Faith dropped on her knees next to the dying vampire.

An unknown feeling came over the siphoner as tears pricked on her blue eyes. Her heart dropped as she gently pulled Vicki's head onto her lap as the vampire began to take her last few breaths. A different type of sadness filled the teenage girl.

"Oh god, Vicki," Faith whimpered as she ran her hand through the vampire's hair. "I'm so sorry."

"Take care," the dying vampire inhaled. "Take care...of...Matt. Please...And Jer. Promise... And....Escape from her. Promise..."

"I promise," Faith cried as the vampire took its final breath. The siphoner wept, ignoring Elena who kneeled next to her.

But she felt anger boiling inside her as the brunette wrapped an arm over her shoulders. She felt something snap inside of her as she wretched the brunette's arm off of her and pushed her to the ground as Faith stood over her. Elena's eyes widened at the sight of Faith's expression twisted in anger.

Faith was livid.

If it weren't for the doppelgänger, the Salvatore brothers wouldn't be here in Mystic Falls. If it weren't for fucking Katherine Pierce, the Salvatore brothers would be dead. If it weren't for Katerina Petrova giving birth, Elena Gilbert wouldn't be born and she wouldn't be standing in front of Faith right now.

"This is all your damn fault!" She yelled with tears flowing down her face. "If it wasn't for you! Those damn Salvatore brothers wouldn't be here in the first place! The least they could've done was pick a girl who wasn't so pathetic! A pathetic fucking human being! A teenage bitch who wasn't so fucking pushy! Because you, Elena fucking Gilbert, aren't worth being killed over!"

"Alright, that's enough," Damon spoke up, walking calmly toward the two teenage girls. "I think she gets it, Faith."

The siphoner snapped her head in the vampire's direction. "And don't get me started with you! A what? A vampire over a 100 years old chasing after his brother's girlfriend?! You can do better or worse than that! Blaming your brother for turning you! Get over it! The deal is fucking done!"

"Be quiet or you might regret something," the vampire warned, his blue eyes darkening as he glared at the siphoner.

Faith smirked despite her tear stricken face. "What are you going to do? Kill me? Like I'm so scared of that. I don't have anyone to care about. My father is dead. My mother is dead to me and I have no friends. So fucking do it."

In a blink of an eye, Damon slammed Faith against a school bus with his hand wrapped around her neck. Blue eyes clashed against each other. The vampire watched her blue eyes widening with hysteria. A faint red glow covered her neck as Damon began to feel drained.

"Stop!" Elena yelled, rushing toward the siphoner and vampire. She ignored the frown from the vampire as she spoke softly at the raven-haired girl.

"Faith, you made a promise to Vicki," she spoke with a soft voice, afraid she might say the wrong thing that will cause Faith to do something bad. "You promised you'll protect Matt and Jeremy. You also promised to escape 'her'. It was her dying wish. Are you really going to break it?"

Faith studied her girl's expression. She disliked the soft expression on her face as if she was going to break at any moment. And if Faith was honest, she knew she was breaking down at the moment. She hated to admit it just as much as she knew she was weak. But she promised her only friend to protect her brother and her boyfriend.

Faith glared at the brunette. "You're a pathetic bitch," she growled before she disappeared from the brunette's sight and into the shadows.
