"You're telling me, you hooked up with Klaus and now a mini Klaus is sitting in your tummy."
Valerie nodded at Damon. "God decided to bless me today." She spoke with sarcasm then continued. "Of all people the one time there's a loophole it's with me, and a baby."
Damon sighed, he had mixed feelings on this. He was angry but at the same time he wanted to meet the little one and maybe be an uncle to it.
Valerie looked like she was about to break and Damon realised. "Val it's okay, everything's going to be okay." He brought her in for a hug and Valerie happily excepted. "I-i I'm not old enough for this responsibility, w-what if-"
Damon pulled her out of the hug and put his hands on her shoulders. "No what ifs, okay. You are going to have this baby and be a great mum, do you hear me?" Valerie nodded as she sniffled, wiping her tears with the end of her sleeve.
"You seem really calm about this, I thought you'd be angry." He nodded in reason "eh, internal screaming."
Valerie chuckled lightly, feeling a little bit better. "Thanks Damon." Damon just nodded with soft eyes. "Have you told him yet?" She shook her head. "I tried but I'm just too nervous to, I mean he won't believe me so." Damon sighed. "You don't need him anyway, you've got us."
Valerie looked up and her lip trembled as tears threatened to fall. "Who even is 'us' anymore?"
Damon sighed in sympathy, he wasn't the greatest at giving advice and comforting people, especially about babies. "Don't think about that right now. Jeremy's probably looking down right now, thinking what have you gotten yourself into."

She nodded and laughed "Probably." Damon all of a sudden got up. "You've got a ball to go to right? We're gonna try to get your sisters humanity back." Valerie nodded. "I'm sorry about that." She said motioning to her break down he witnessed. "You have nothing to apologise for." She smiled at her friend, grateful.
--
"Where's the disco ball?"
Valerie was walking into the school hall with Damon and Stefan. "Caroline's been working on this for a while. It's a, ah, photo-yearbook of the senior class." They stop in front of one of the screens.
"Isn't that photo from, ah, the first day of freshman year?" Elena stops and stares at it - it's a picture of her and Matt smiling. "My mom took that when she dropped us off at school." Damon nods at Stefan behind Elena's back while she continues to stare at the photo. Slowly it fades into a different picture - Elena, Valerie and Jeremy, smiling. Valerie smiles at the memory. Elena starts removing her jacket.
"I'm gonna get a seizure if I keep staring at these screens." She walks off quickly. Inside, everyone is dancing. Matt and Bonnie are walking through the crowd together. "Why do I feel like we're at a practice run of Caroline's wedding?" Valerie laughed at this. Of course they were.
"Because I think we are."
Damon followed Elena into the crowd of dancing teens as Valerie sighed. "I don't think I'm going to make it through this night with her." Bonnie nodded in agreement. "Neither."
Valerie sighed as she walked towards the bar ready to get a drink but stopped half way, swearing at herself. She couldn't even drink now.
She turned around to walk back to Bonnie but when she turned around Elena blocked her way. "Hey Val." She had a sadistic smile on her face. "Uh what do you want Elena?" Elena's smile grew as she was annoying her. "I want to know why you aren't going to the bar now."

Valerie gulped and looked around for Damon or Stefan. "I just decided to not have a drink today." Elena smirked "wait, I've got it." She then looked down at her stomach. "So who'd you hook up with, I'm betting Klaus." Valerie scoffed. "You know for someone who Denys being like Katherine, you are acting just like her."
She walked around her and went to walk away but Elena grabbed her arm digging her nails into her skin. "If anyone tries anything tonight, then I guess you'll just have to pay for it." Valerie looked at Elena in disgust. "Look at you, threatening a pregnant girl, never knew you'd stoop this low."
She then yanked her arm away from her and walked away, successfully this time.
Valerie decided to get some air for a bit outside so she walked out of the school and stood near a tree. She was distracted by the thought of Elena and what she had said. She was so much like Katherine without her humanity, it made her sick.
Sighing drastically, Valerie decided to go back inside as it decided to become chilly outside.
Suddenly, out of nowhere an arm reaches out and puts a hand over her mouth and nose, making her inhale the toxic smell that was on the persons hands. Valerie passed out in the persons arms and they dragged her away.
So this is how I'm going to end this fanfic, I know Klalerie didn't happen as much as you guy probably wanted but it definitely will in the sequel, so go check it out!

What Was Lost Outside Time
What happens to a mind, subjected to an infinite span of time? What remains, when it is taken out again? This is the story of an individual reborn after such time has passed that nothing remains of what it was; an individual who must learn once again what it is to be, beginning with awareness of the idea of awareness, and growing from there; from awareness of self, to awareness of others, to awareness of society, and on. This is the story of a mind; growing, learning, adapting, and becoming more. -- Currently the first three chapters are - well, kind of experimental. I both like and hate these; they were a pain to write, and I'm told by at least one person that they're painful to get through, but I think something like them is necessary to set one of the basic ideas about the way the story is written. It gets slightly more normal after that, the first arc of the story is rather "battle school", and I think I may need to go back and edit it - the characterization didn't end up working out as well as I had originally hoped, unfortunately, and ended up rather weak to my eye. I may go back and add a sub-plot or two, depending on how well I can handle the intended perspective shift of the second arc. -- Currently on hiatus, in case that wasn't obvious. I'm debating between rewriting large portions of what I've already written, and just finishing out the story, but either way, I don't actually have a clear idea of what I want to do right now. If I'm still feeling the same way in a few months I'll put a chapter up explaining where the story was going, maybe, so the people who have enjoyed it can know where the story was intended to go, and close this out.

The Pugilist
Vincent Roy Salazar has never been your common folk. He climbed any mountain he found in front of him. From a bright young student to an accomplished professor, his life can be described as a continuous race to the top of his chosen fields. Patriarch of a loving family, proud father of three already grown siblings, Roy realizes that his life is the perfect picture of what the average man strives for, and for that he is truly grateful. But happiness is a difficult-to-reach goal, and as he lies in a pool of his own blood, his fist cracked, a young lady crying while cradling his head, he remembers what really gave sense to his youth. Pure Unadulterated Violence The Pugilist wants to be a different take on isekai shenanigans. What would happen if instead of a moronic idiot, a depressed high schooler, or a wannabe hero the one to get his do-over is a fully grown man that has already seen what life has to offer in full? Someone who conformed himself to society, but has always craved something different? In a journey of self-discovery, academy building, god-slaying, and absolutely no harem we follow someone driven by logic, experience, and a smokey goal: to fuck shit up, have fun while doing so, and maybe resume his career as a professor for those strange, magic-wielding, unstable youths that seems to never get enough of his presence. Guys, a few notes, first of all, this is my first time writing long-form fiction. I have a background in psychology, and my main income comes from writing dreary financial articles on SEO blogs. But after a bad break-up, and finding myself falling asleep only while thinking of deus ex machina for stories on this site (and for APGTE) I decided to try my hand at this web series thingy. I'm confident in my grammar, but that's it. Everything else will be a first time, and as such any constructive criticism is encouraged and gratefully accepted. Now, on the story. Romance will be introduced once my little heart is mended, if you are scared of LGBT you may be turned off by the fact that I plan to have no taboo of any kind in my universe, but I won't ever write detailed sex scenes for any characters so don't worry too much. The litRPG part is very light and will take place later in the novel, but it's a key component nonetheless, for world-building and storyline reasons. I already have everything big planned out, so I won't drop it outta nowhere, and I hope you won't find too many flaws in how things pan out. I plan to make The Pugilist an interactive story, with secondary characters created by my audience and introduced after tweaks and careful planning. The main reason I'm writing this is that I want to build a community for myself in this time of isolation. I discovered that exercising, playing the piano or video games means jack-shit when you are utterly miserable, so I hope to give some value to my readers in exchange for praise, fame, money, and companionship. I give full props to anyone who has read this whole mess of a synopsis: I hope to not disappoint too much, now let's write some more steaming garbage that will be in dire need of editing later on.

A Long Refrain
September, in the Continuate: For most students living in the Third Division, the month's arrival usually means the start of a new school year. But not so for one particular freshman, whose first month at college seems to never end—literally. Set during the 20th year of the nation's Rectification Era, A Long Refrain follows Melody Quick’s attempts to escape from the month-long time loop she's found herself trapped in. Her journey, which starts in the capital city of Somnhaven, will take her across the vast expanse of land once known as Circadia, whose forgotten histories, ancient secrets and eccentric inhabitants could hold the key to discovering the true nature of the loop and the role she herself plays within it. However, the more she learns, the more cruel truths she must face: Will she really be able to handle the awful reality behind the loop, and all that it entails? And will those very same answers she's found be enough to not only break her free from the loop, but to also protect the people she holds dear? (A-and from what, exactly ...?)
